The life rhythm in the cottage is basic, close to nature in a wonderful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly created food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There's a wood stove.

Near the beautiful Noorderplantsoen in one of Groningen's most beautiful and peaceful neighborhoods, stay in an atmospherically colourful downstairs house. There is a garden bedroom and a front room, both with double beds, and a mezzanine where you can also sleep. A private kitchen with coffee and tea, fridge and oven/microwave, a dining room with access to the intimate city garden full of flowers. Privacy with own bathroom and toilet. You walked into the center area in 5 minutes!

"Slapers" spacious ground floor apartment & garden

Come and spend the night in my spacious ground floor apartment dating from 1906 with French doors facing the garden! The apartment has its own toilet/shower and a small kitchen. You have a choice of beds, a comfortable queen size bed, single bed, loft bed and a sofa bed. The city center is close by, just like the museum and central train station. Don't hesitate to ask if you require a child's bed, or if you want to bring your dog; nearly everything is possible!

Our cozy, characteristic rear house with an area of no less than 120m2 is part of a thatched farmhouse from 1862. It has its own entrance and plenty of privacy. There is a beautiful large living room with oak beams and loft. From here you have a magnificent wide view over the meadows behind.
