Alister and Kondwani were great hosts! The family was incredibly warm and welcoming! I thoroughly enjoyed staying at their place and I will stay with Alister and Kondwani again the next time I come to Zomba! Their son even came to pick me up from the Zomba plateau in the evening when my cell phone broke. Incredible hospitality and a great place to stay.

A perfect location. For hill walking inZomba, with a great Italian restaurant next door. We were made very welcome and enjoyed a hair braiding at local training centre run by the host.

The house is spacious, sunny and very clean. The bed linens are new and in good taste. Two of the bedrooms have a contained bathroom while the third bedroom and bathroom are separate. The shower had hot water with nice pressure. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric tea kettle, tea, sugar and Ricoffy. There is a large yard with an outdoor table and chairs under a tree. The house is surrounded by a wall and gate and comes with a caretaker. We enjoyed our stay and would return again.

This was a great place to stay for a few days. Benjamin was incredibly helpful with check-in instructions and recommendations for local taxis. The area feels safe and there is a housekeeper and night guard on site, both of whom were also friendly and helpful. The house was clean, well-stocked, and beautifully decorated. Added bonus were the three lovely dogs at the property. Highly recommend!

The farmhouse is a beautiful place. We loved our stay. Everyone was so friendly. We will never forget this place!

Such an amazing experience! From the motorcycle ride to the dock and the boat ride being punted across the lake to Chisi Island to the tour of the island. Can't recommend enough! It is important to be realistic about camping outdoors on an island on Lake Chilwa but Evin made it so comfortable and was so hospitable with providing coffee, snacks, clean water and washing facilities. I would highly recommend an overnight stay if you are in the Zomba area for an unforgettable experience 1
