Rustic Cabin in the woods, internet & soaking tub

Our 200 sqft rustic A-frame cabin on a 10 acre property with soaker tub, natural swimming pond and 2 excited off leash dogs. The cabin is in a private spot 150 feet from the main house, and a 300 foot walk from parking. Cabin features a double bed in the loft, and a convertible couch. Kitchen is fully functioning with fridge, stove, cookware, dishes, soap and linens. Water is a jug/bucket system. Toilet is a sawdust bucket composting toilet. Heated by wood stove. 25 minutes from Falcon Lake.

We have a nice one bedroom apartment on the main floor of our house. Located right in the DownTown area, just blocks away from main street, banks and the harbour front. One block from the Lake of the Woods Brewing Company, the Post Office and the mall (No Frills). Two blocks from the Cinema, many shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Not 10 minutes to the lovely Kenora Harbour Front & the Whitecap Pavilion. Take in all the events and simply walk home.

You’ll love it here because of the incredible view, the solitude, the loons, the pristine wilderness, the great swimming and fishing and hiking, the ambiance, and the comfy beds. We had an amazing week. Great cabin with a beautiful view. We had a lovely stay. The only downside is that you can’t really swim off of the dock. It’s a bit weedy. But the cabin was exactly like they said. It has all of the amenities that you will need. It was quiet and very clean. A great rental.

Sharon was willing to go the extra mile for us and responsive with any questions or requests The cabin was very cozy, quiet and had the perfect amount of outlets. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway. Ice road led right to their place. Excited to return in the summer

If we could have given 11/10 we would have. From being warmly met by Don to eating the welcome cookies everything about this accommodation was perfect. Location, amenities, cleanliness, comfort and a spotless bathroom plus everything you need in a spotless kitchen. If we’d paid $50-75 more we still would have been very satisfied.
