Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Žabljak Municipality

We rented a small house for 3 couples, and found it tidy and comfortable. The hosts were lovely - we had tea, a bonfire, at nearby based on recommendations and played with the local dog, Lucky. Would recommend to anyone wanting a base for hiking and enjoying the countryside

We were 4 friends traveling in the heart of Durmitor National Park. Sandra's accommodation is very well located, close to everything that is useful. There is a gas station, supermarkets and restaurants within 5 minutes by car. It is easy to get around to go to the different activities (rafting, quad, hiking (lakes), panoramic views… the parents of our host Sandra were our neighbors, they don't speak English but are adorable!!! They helped us make a fire (temperatures a little cool during our stay) and they are super welcoming. I would recommned this property ☺️

We had a very good, albeit short, stay at this property. It was everything we needed, and the communication was super easy. We highly recommend this property. The landlord and his family are very warm and helpful.

A beautiful little cabin in a gorgeous setting, spotlessly clean and well appointed. Looks even better than the pictures. Less than 10 minutes drive into Zabljak with good cafes and supermarkets etc, and easy access to the black lake. Great location for exploring Durmitor national park (including less than 1km from front door to ring road), and also lovely meadows, hills and woods nearby to wander through if that takes your fancy. The owners live next door and Stefan made us really welcome with coffee and homemade schnapps when we got there. Perfect place for couples.

We had a wonderful stay! The interior of the cabin was cozy, clean, and well supplied — just as seen in the photos. The location was fantastic, with easy access to town (just a 3-4-minute drive away) and some truly beautiful hikes nearby. What really stood out, though, was Zorica’s hospitality. She was incredibly kind and responsive, checking in regularly to ensure everything was going smoothly. The only thing to note — more as a sidenote than a complaint — is that the area around the cabin is experiencing a lot of growth, with many new cabins being built nearby. While the setting incredibly scenic, it doesn’t quite have the remote, countryside feel it may have once had. That may or may not be a factor depending on what a traveler is looking for. That said, the views remain lovely, and the fenced-in yard with a safe barrier to the road was perfect for letting the kids play freely.

A great base for a few days for anyone looking to do some activities in Durmitor. Zabljak is just a short drive away and so are the starting points for many of the most popular treks.

Ivana’s place was beautiful, new and clean. It was very cosy place with beautiful view. Ivana and her family are very nice and also leave us some cakes. Thank you very much will definitely book next time when in Durmitor.

The apartment is in a convenient location, there is a parking space, independent entry and exit, new furniture, the kitchen has all the necessary utensils, it is clean, cozy, there is air conditioning. The host communicates pleasantly, responds quickly to messages.

We liked the stay, beautiful nature, it was quiet around. The house corresponds to the description and photos

First, you must register in the Tourist Office and pay daily tax. The host doesn't not inform of this on the listing, house rules or in person. I was delayed doing so. The apartment was nice, clean and looked like the photos. I believe the shower was recently replaced, so there's no longer a little tub. The apartment has most kitchen items for an extended stay - pots, cutlery, dishes, microwave etc. There are basic tv channels and wifi available. Beka provided local information and recommendations about store opening time. The town center is about a 5 or 6 minute walk. The neighborhood is cute and mostly quiet, except for a few hours each day there are children playing, yelling and driving motorized cars in front of the apartment. I did notice a lack of cleaning supplies, such as a broom, dustpan and extra trash bags which would have helped keep clean during an extended sta with pets.. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Beautiful apartment, very comfortable and with everything you need. We always cook on our trips and the kitchen was very well equipped. When we arrived, everything was spotless. It has vehicle parking. Highly recommended!

Aljosa was a very responsive host and replied quickly to messages. He gave us clear instructions, as well as, really important local information on road closures for both when we arrived and departed, plus when the shops would be shut. Aljosa was so friendly and helpful, providing us with lots of beautiful places to visit. He was also extremely generous, giving us so many delicious cakes, local soft cheese to try, cola and speciality teas. He could not have been any nicer or more polite. The apartment is on the ground floor of his home and has a separate sitting room, bedroom, dining kitchen and bathroom. It is a character apartment, clean, spacious, warm, comfortable, well-equipped and resourced. There is also a patio with table and chairs, under cover, looking onto the garden and with views of the surrounding mountains, plus parking space. It is in a quiet residential area but within walking distance of the town, so close to shops and restaurants. We would definitely recommend.

Beautiful apartment in an even more beautiful setting! Andrea’s place was spotless and had everything we needed. The listing matches the photos, and locating the building for checkin was very easy. The apartment has a balcony that looks out onto the most peaceful view of the mountains, and you’re in walking distance to black lake as well as all the local stores and restaurants. The location couldn’t have been more perfect for everything we wanted to do. On top of all this, Andrea has to be the best host I’ve encountered! Very kind, friendly, and incredibly helpful with very quick responses. I wish we could have stayed longer, but I know I will look to Andrea for accommodation if we return.

Goran's place exceeded our expectations and we felt right at home. The place was modern, stylish chic and aesthetically pleasing. Communication was easy and always got responses right away and accurate whatever we needed. This is a place we recommend without reservations as we know you will enjoy it as much as we did. There is also a great quality restaurant downstairs as part of the condo building - where you can easily communicate in English - the low rise building is strategically located at a walking distance to downtown and close enough to the Ski resort. All in all we give this place a 10 and we definitely like to come back! Thank you Goran and Bojana for your outstanding service...

The stay went very smoothly. There was no problem finding the place. The inside was tidy, the bathroom was very clean, fresh linens, complete kitchen utensils. Separate children's bedroom. A good base, restaurants in the town, shops nearby. I recommend it!

The clearest apartment I've ever stayed in. Fully equipped. The view from the bankony is amazing. Excellent location - ATM is on the ground floor, 3 grocery stores are behind the building, zip line is nearby, 5 min walkable road (no stairs) to the lake and restaurants. Elevator brings you to any side of the building you want. We liked the view of nearby football and basketball grounds as well, where whole families spend their time, it's so cute. It was really a pleasure to communicate to the host. We'll stay in there again, definitely.

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. Although it is quite small, it is practical and very lovingly decorated. The family is very welcoming. For example, we were brought something small homemade to eat several times. Likewise, the place is very nicely located and you are very quickly in the national park and in the city of Zabljak. We would come back any time 🥰

We decided at the last minute because we were not satisfied with the place we stayed in Sarajevo. I'm glad we came, it was a very clean house with a beautiful view. The host responded very quickly. It was a very sweet town, close to the market, within walking distance to the lake. I'll stay when we come again.

We had an amazing stay at Jovana's. It's a small studio with a beautiful view. The place is more like a small cozy town, away from the hustle bustle.

We had a wonderful stay at Nikolas’ place in Žabljak. He was a great host—very kind, helpful, and welcoming to me and my family. He went out of his way to assist us and gave us great recommendations for places to visit in the area. We’re truly thankful and grateful for his hospitality. I highly recommend staying at his place!
