The place was absolutely perfect. We stayed there for my daughter’s wedding.

Excellent stay at this house. The house is a large multi floor cabin. It is off the main road and completely surrounded by woods with no other visible homes and minimal road noise. Bedrooms were large. Bathrooms were clean and stocked with towels and bath items (shampoo etc) giving it a nice hotel feel. Entrance is a simple code on the front door smartlock. We had some challenges with a bathroom, lightbulb, and sauna and Mariou was excellent and responsive. We had a group of six but the home can easily accommodate many more. Place feels rustic, but modern enough. The super high ceilings in the main common room give it a grand feel. Would recommend staying here.

I can't say enough. it's our new favorite place and we are already planning to go back soon. We needed this place more than we even realized. Literally a little peace of heaven. We came in frustrated and fed up with adulting, but left rejuvenated, cleansed, and with fresh outlooks. Can't wait to go back! Cell service is great without wifi, you can use your phone, but you won't be bored anyway or want to. Trust Google Maps, it will get you there lol

This is our fifth stay at cabin 3 and we absolutely love it! Chris is super responsive and helpful. It's an absolute beautiful location with peaceful surroundings! Always so grateful to be able to stay at the cabins with our pups!

Not the cleanest stay we've had but with it not coming with the hefty cleaning fees, a little dirt and pet hair could be overlooked. We'd stay again! Lots to see and do in this part of the state.

Always a wonderful stay.

I gifted my husband a stay here as a Get-Away trip and he loved his time! The setting was perfect for his writing retreat and he enjoyed hearing the chipmunks and going on walks. Both Bobbi and Joseph were very accommodating and communicative and I’m so glad my husband brought me back some of Bobbi’s art! I’m hopeful I can join next time too!

Perfect place for a family reunion from family all over the world - literally! Justin and Krista were extremely responsive and the place was very comfortable and cozy. Everyone had a great time !

I had such a lovely stay here! I wanted to get out of the city for a little nature and some quiet and this was perfect. I love getting out into the wilderness but also love comfort and convenience and this was the perfect fit. It was a lovely space, incredibly cozy and comfortable, and was in a secluded little slice of beautiful woods.

I went seeking solitude and solitude is what I found. It's a perfect little weekend getaway to just unplug.

Beautiful setting. Host was very responsive and helpful. Respected privacy. Clean and quaint cabin. Plenty of activities to keep singles, couples, or families busy. Hiking, fishing and recreational areas around. Highly recommend.

Super peaceful area with a lot of things to do!

Bigger than it looks in the pics! (most places that I've stayed are smaller than they look in pics.) This is such a beautiful house in a quiet remote area. The furniture is top notch. The beds were comfy. The bathroom was beautiful. The kitchen is huge. I wish we had a reason to be in that area longer. I would have liked to have stayed and relaxed a while. It's very peaceful.

We loved our stay and highly recommend this noteable house. (And we have experienced many different Airbnbs.)The Log House and Gardens retains the aura of an 18th century cottage. Hand-hewn logs, lower ceilings and higher steps on the stairway reveal this is an authentic log home experience. Lots of modern amenities add to a very comfortable stay without detracting from the old house feel: very comfortable beds and easy chairs, lots of electrical outlets and well labeled light switches, and a well-equipped kitchen. This is a wonderful place to kick back and relax for a few days. The Log House & Gardens site continues to develop at the able hands of Nan Garber. Ongoing restoration of the gardens lingering from a previous occupant -- a florist – will make the exterior landscape match the simple elegance present inside the home. Points of interest include the town of Hershey and the Northwest River Trail, which is paved, follows the mighty Susquehanna River for many miles. Enjoy!
