Wonderful stay at the Smiley Wolf Cabin! The cabin was extremely clean, the beds were comfy and the towels & linens were great. The kitchen was well equipped. Ben was a friendly and responsive host. Do not hesitate to book your stay at this lovely place.

This was one of the best rental properties we have ever stayed at. Extremely comfortable for 2 couples with loads of amenities. Anything we could have wanted, the property had. Not only was the view from the cabin stunning, the location was was the perfect home base for exploring Banff, Yoho and Glacier National Parks. Also only a few miles from the Golden Skybridge and adventure park. The hot tub and steam shower were added bonuses. Beds and linens were very comfortable. The town of Golden was just a quick drive down the road and had everything we needed from great restaurants (Eleven22, Red Tomato Pies, The Wolf's Den, Turning Point), to brew houses, and full grocery stores (hit up the Save-on-Foods over the IGA). We also had amazing luck during our stay and got to see the northern lights one evening - lifetime bucket list item checked off! We couldn't have asked for more from Wendy's property. Thanks a million for a truly memorable stay. We are already talking about visiting again!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin in the woods. The view was absolutely breathtaking, truly one of the highlights of the trip. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive when we needed assistance, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The cabin itself is cozy, peaceful, and perfectly situated for a relaxing getaway in nature. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene retreat.

Stunning. Spacious and comfortable with everything you could need. The garden is large with beautiful mountain views. Julie was a great host with recommendations of local walks which was a great way to start our mornings. Winding down in the hot tub with fabulous views each evening was perfect. We hope to return!

The blue house as my kids called it, was a wonderful place to stay for our family of 4. I wish we had stayed here for our whole trip to the Rockies. The house was super clean, big and open inside and private. We felt right at home. The views of the mountains were amazing. The hot tub was lovely. The walk to the river was easy and great. After putting our kids to bed we came upstairs and there were deer outside the living room window; a real treat to see! We visited Mount Revelstoke, Glacier and Yoho from here. We would love to come back here and base camp here for more Rocky Mountain exploring! Crista was an amazing host and made sure we had everything we needed for our family! Can’t wait to come back!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Karen’s Airbnb. The home is cozy, beautifully maintained, and incredibly family-friendly—it had everything we needed and more. The backyard was a real highlight, with a stunning view of the mountains. As a meditator, I found it to be an especially peaceful space—my morning meditations there were incredibly deep and grounding. Karen was such a warm and sweet host. Her kindness, clear communication, and all the thoughtful touches around the home made us feel genuinely welcome. She was also very accommodating and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. This was the perfect mountain retreat for our little family, and we’d absolutely love to return someday. Highly recommend!

This cabin is even more beautiful than the pictures show! The mountains surrounding it are beautiful. It had more amenities and fun things to do than we were expecting. The house is in extremely good shape and very cozy. The deck is the only sketch part of the house. It probably should have been replaced 5 years ago. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. Over all it was an awesome place to spend the long weekend!

This is in a beautiful location for a cottage getaway in the Golden area. It was really quiet for our mid-week stay, but it might get busy on weekends with how many cabins are here.

If you are looking for a private, secluded cabin in the mountains with outstanding views, look no further! This is IT! The snow capped mountains were right outside your back door and were beautiful every hour of every day. The meadow in front with the horses added the right touch of peacefulness and serenity to this gorgeous location. The cabin itself was cute and quaint, plenty of room for both of us and our doggo. Easy access to the town of Golden and a little bit further was the drive to Yoho and Banff NPs, but what what a stunning drive each time we made it. Sidenote: the owner's dogs do roam the property, just an FYI. We definitely loved it here and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This was our second time here and certainly not our last. The cabin has everything you could need; board games, books, hot tub, fireplaces, and an incredibly well equipped kitchen that’s a dream to cook in. The surroundings are breathtaking and, despite being fairly close to town, you feel entirely surrounded by wilderness. We loved going for long walks around the property and eating outside on the large porch/deck with stunning views of the mountains.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is clean, cozy, and has everything you might need. The location is quiet and peaceful, which made it perfect for relaxing. It was warm inside and easy to get to—very convenient overall. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing place to stay if visiting Banff or the other parks in the area! Rick and Watson are great hosts and the space was very spacious and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun unique place to stay.

Great place. Surrounded by trees in a big property. If you are looking for a private location this is the spot. Spacious house with a complete kitchen. The bedrooms have comfortable beds with extra pillows and bed linens. Both upstairs rooms have skylights, so they get bright when the sun rises (make sure to pack an sleep mask). Our dog loved the deck and the surroundings. The communication with the host was great, fast replies and accurate instructions. Golden is an amazing place with lots to do. The house was what we were looking for: private and easy access to attractions in the area.

Very cute, clean, and cozy cabin! Saw some deer a few times, and the horses next door make the drive in very pretty. The area was quiet and private, but with Christina’s clear instructions it was easy to find. Would recommend staying here for your trips!

Stayed 3 nights and didn’t want to leave! Absolutely beautiful and peaceful property and surroundings. Mosquitos were a thing in the evening, but calm, sunny morning breakfasts on the porch were glorious. I super appreciated Kaley’s suggestion for a local cold creek dip! Would not hesitate to book this sweet cabin again next time I’m through Golden.

Porcupine chalet was lovely and private, great snowshoe trails right close by, dog loved it. Easy pre cut wood stock for kiddling if you need more, ran into our host on the skii hill and they were warm and welcoming ! 10/10 would go back.

Really lovely stay at Juliane’s cabin. Was exactly as described, super cosy, spacious and perfect for our trip. Cabin is in a beautiful remote location, with a few other friendly campers staying nearby. Juliane was a great host who was even happy to help us out in person when we locked ourselves out!

Possibly the most beautiful place we have ever been and stayed. Mists rising from the mountains and rainbows every morning in the golden light. Hiking trails right out of the cabin door to mountain springs and pools. We would live in this area!

The “Sanctuary” sign on the wall next to the door says it all. We had an amazing stay at Liza’s cabin. The location is amazing, so peaceful. We loved waking up with a view on surrounding trees and chirping birds (don’t forget to bring your sleep mask if you need darkness to sleep). The cabin has everything needed for a comfortable stay, Liza even thought of bear spray and mosquitoes repellent (the only downside of the location, lots of mosquitoes) and lovely decorations. The communication with Liza was always smooth and friendly. We would love to come again one day! Thank you for having us Liza.

Very lovely cabin. Beautiful surroundings. private. Quiet. comfortable. cabin was well stocked. hottub was clean, big. Jackie was very good to us. She kept us informed, communicated well with email and texts. we were very happy to meet her in person and thank her before leaving so we could tell her how happy we were with our stay. Great location. close to suspension bridges and Adventure park, which we really enjoyed. we would definitely go back in a heartbeat, and highly recommend her cabin to everyone. very good experience from start to finish. thanks again Jackie 👍😍🎉

The cabin was absolutely comfortable and clean. It’s very quiet and fresh in the trees. Snow was melting and making the experience even better resting while listening to the melting snow and birds’ chatting. We had a very good time here, very peaceful and relaxing. Love it!

We had such a lovely stay just outside Golden, BC. The cabin is tucked into the mountainside, offering total seclusion and incredible views. We especially loved the hot tub and fire pit—it was the perfect way to unwind and take in the peaceful surroundings. Paola was a fantastic host very responsive and full of great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet, nature-filled escape!
