Rod’s place was beautiful the cabin was spotless and worth it in so many levels. This place is one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed. If you want a proactive host Rod will take care of you or if you want to contact and just go about your business. He will leave you to a peaceful retreat. The ranch is a beautiful place to get away it’s like nothing you’ve ever experienced before!

Susan's place was peaceful and quiet. Mule deer, turkey's, rabbits, and a variety of birds frequent the headquarters and surrounding pastures, which were a joy to watch. With the fresh air coming in my window and the wonderfully soft sheets I slept 'like a baby'! Thank you, Susan!

This place was absolutely beautiful, magical, quiet and Serene. This is what I would imagine a place heaven would be. I'll never forget staying here. Hopefully one day I'll be able to come again. Thank you for the generosity and the helpful hosts!

Our second stay at the cottage and first time during the winter. Jeff and Julie’s cottage is a comfortable and convenient stay for two couples during a ski and snowmobile trip. Thanks again for having us!

Beautiful place to stay! Great scenery! Hot tub worked great. It is right beside their house as mentioned in the description but it still felt private and cozy.

A wonderful considerate attentive host! Immaculate upper floor barn apartment. Very cozy and nicely appointed. The farm was a neat place with horses, cows, chickens, goats and even peacocks. Very restful. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

Had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, clean, and peaceful cabin. A perfect base for exploring the Black Hills. The hard part was deciding if we wanted to explore or just stay put and enjoy the beautiful surroundings at the cabin.

My 80-year-old father had never stayed in an Airbnb. He was very pleased. He used to travel with a camper or choose the cheapest motel- with subpar quality. He felt very comfortable at Down Home Acres. We each (3 adults, 2 kids) had plenty of space. We enjoyed cooking for ourselves. We enjoyed all the amenities. We enjoyed the open space, including a visit from a barn cat. Home & amenities was well put together. I was grateful to have not upset my Dad’s normal routine & diet while staying away from home.

We ended our stay in Wyoming here and it was wonderful. Not only is this place adorably decorated but it also has the most spectacular views! I don't think I could ever get tired of the mountain views here...I wish we could have stayed longer. Liz was wonderful to chat with and gave excellent suggestions for local places to check out as well. Best place we stayed all week.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cute cabin. It was comfortable and provided just enough space for our family.

Ultimately selected this place for the yard and did not disappoint. There was some horse manure in the yard but then again we are on a farm. The only reason I mention it if you do not have a disciplined dog it could be an issue. Very peaceful and horses came to the fence a few times which was neat.

Angie’s place was so clean and comfortable! It was a very reasonable distance to drive to explore Grand Tetons National Park but was far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Each time I messaged Angie with questions, she was quick to respond and helpful. I definitely recommend her place!

Beautiful surroundings! House is large & super clean!! We were a group of 12 & everyone had plenty of space. We really enjoyed the outdoor games that were provided. This is our second time to stay. Highly recommend this house!

Gareth was a great host for us- provided explanatory videos for how everything worked (door locks, special features, etc). We had a great time and had nice views. Saw a beautiful bald eagle perched in a tree within a couple blocks of the tiny home too, a fun bonus! Thanks again!

Geoff's place is private and quiet, with just the sound of the Little Tongue River. It was the perfect place for longtime friends to spend three days getting caught up. We are hoping to return next year.

The views from the property are breathtaking. The house is perfect and pristine. We were so excited to get back to the house after our busy days to just take it all in. Beyond relaxing and private. Absolutely amazing! Right from the start Amy was reaching out with different information and was very helpful with things to do or where to have a little get together with other family! We were greeted by Mark, which he was very very helpful! We have not had a better stay anywhere else! The hospitality was over the top! If we needed anything they jumped right in to get us what we needed! I highly recommend staying here!!
