The issues listed by the previous guest have been improved👌🏻 Because we checked in during the winter, the sunrise was not harsh and the lack of curtains was not a problem; ask the host first for friends to stay in the summer. Relax! The windows are mosaic and don't worry about privacy.

we have a great stay... clear instruction from host make it easy to find... near to taichung station 5 minutes walking... room spacious for 2-3 people... water pressure very strong... definitely will stay again if come to taichung next time...

The address provided can't navigate, I'm the laundromat next to the guide to find it, the location is not easy to find, it's too remote ~ I bought a late-night at night for a long time to find... The password for the room is not the same as the password on the key on the room door. So we were shut out at one point! The room is great and clean, there is Netflix, but I can't watch it after seeing half jump off ~ The bed is also good to sleep, there are bath towels no towels, there are no towels, there are eco-friendly supplies to bring your own, the overall CP is high, just the location is too busy, it is not very lively and not very suitable for my needs, the room is quiet and comfortable place is not concerned or very recommended

The house is clean and tidy with a nice decor and a great sense of space.I brought my computer for work and the Wi-Fi was strong enough to support me.The host is the person who pays more attention to detail and communication.A longer rental would be a good fit as it is fully furnished.

The room is large, the layout is reasonable, the washing and drying machine is very convenient, there is a lot of food and drink nearby, I will choose here next time I come to Donghai.

Great place to stay near gan cheng bus station (5mins walk) and is pretty near most of the major tourist spots in taichung (walkable distance), definitely recommended to fellow travellers in Taichung!

A lovely and warm place for our trip, located in a quiet environment. The interior is well designed - new, spacious, cozy and comfortable. It is in a walking distance to the Shenji New Village 審計新村 and surrounded by great restuarants. Kuma is nice and responsive. He provided flexible arrange for our check-in as well as great ideas of nearby spots to visit. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable home, felt relaxed as soon as you walk in and felt at home.The light is good, the bathroom is great, and the large bath is comparable to a hot spring house.Attached peripheral activities are convenient, easy to forage, it is a good stay

Fantastic apartment and location. Modern design and comfy couch and beds. 7-11 just downstairs and many restaurants nearby. also very close to an amazing fresh fruit shop and park. We walked around lots of Taichung from here. Older building without great first impression, but once inside the apartment it's fabulous. A little noisy when people are in the stairwell and from the road, but only at peak times. Very helpful host and team, recommended. Would stay again for sure.

This is a fantastic and cozy place in the countryside! The hosts are very welcoming and friendly, they greeted me on arrival and made me feel right at home despite a language barrier. The house is rustic, but the amenities are as described and work well, and the place is very clean. This is in a very peaceful area with lovely views. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again!

Although the concrete floor downstairs didn’t seem very homely, the place is actually very functional and adequately equipped with a good shower. Well situated for exploring the nearby national park. Very helpful and friendly hostess but be aware that towels are not routinely supplied. We would stay there again

Staying here made it possible to have a 5 star stay while visiting the area. A wonderful home! Andy is the most amazing host. He was always available to help with anything we needed. As first time visitors to Taiwan, we had endless questions - he was always kind and patient with our big and small questions. A huge plus - the parking. For anyone coming with a car, being able to park in the "garage" and not hunt for a space is more than a winning offering. And for anyone concerned about having air conditioning - the home has mini splits so each room has its own unit - all super quiet and efficient. Grocery store and other stores are all near by. The neighborhood is quiet and safe for walking. location - super quick to get into the highway to drive north or south. we commuted to Taichung daily - quick and easy! Great WiFi and secure. My microsoft liked it as opposed to a hotel we stayed at. Bottom line- more than a winner! We hope to be able to visit again. thanks for a great stay!

incredible place! we loved the apartment. beds are very comfy, showers are strong with good heat. the surrounding area is very pleasant. good food options around, and close to the train station. i would stay here again!
