The house where the farmer used to live with his family has been converted into a comfortable apartment with a spacious living room and open kitchen downstairs, overlooking the meadows and the terpkerk of Wanswert. The apartment is in personal style and fully furnished. Where possible, we used second chance furniture. Together with the piano and comfortable wood stove, a nice living climate is created. The apartment has a cozy private garden all around, a private front door and lots of privacy.

In the area you can completely unwind; come for a nice walk and bike ride. In the village, there is the forest of Ype, and in Burgum, you will find sauna de Leeuwerikhoeve. The house offers the possibility to rest, enjoy the Dokkumer Ee and the beautiful ships that pass by, bird watching, cycling. Within 20 minutes of driving you will get to Leeuwarden or Dokkum both interesting. There is also a 2 persons canoe and two sup boards that can be used free of charge.
