"Anglesey House" Iconic Forbes CBD Heritage Home

"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. Kames Cottages provides a peaceful secluded rural Setting close enough to the township of Temora but offers an outback getaway. Two Self contained cottages with reverse cycle air conditioning, two bedrooms, queen bed plus double/single bunk. linen is provided, barbeque facilities and pool are available.
