Very nice and quiet place. Definitely recommended!

We were in this apartment for the 2nd time and it was wonderful again. The apartment is furnished with great attention to detail, absolutely comfortable and nice and cool despite the heat outside. We enjoyed the large roof terrace again, especially the peace and the birdsong. We did great bike tours every day, the area is ideal for it. A big thank you to Gabi, for the kindness and also for the welcome drinks in the fridge as well as for the flexibility at check-in and check-out! We will come back!

We were allowed to stay with 4 people at Roselie (2 adults/2Ki) which was absolutely great with 2 double rooms and 2 double beds. Large beds, plenty of space. Attic apartment well ventilated even in the warm temperature, it was very pleasant. Very nice and lovely hostess, we lacked nothing. Lovely apartment with charm. Centrally located, but quiet and good parking. We will be happy to come back :-)

Perfect in every way. Thomas was an incredibly hospitable, kind, and helpful host and made us feel so welcome from the very first moment. The place itself was perfectly clean, extremely comfortable, and had everything you could need. The kitchen was well supplied, the WiFi fast, comfortable bed, very nice TV, great bathroom and washing machine for clothes, and it was overall just a completely ideal space for our extended stay. The location is also perfect and only about a 15 minute walk from multiple grocery stores like Aldi and Rewe. Public transport from this location was also incredible and it was easy to cheaply get to cities like Cologne/Düsseldorf for nice day trips. If we are ever visiting North Rhine-Westphalia again in the future we will certainly be wanting to stay here again. Out of over 40+ Airbnbs we have stayed in, this is one of our top 3 favorites, easy. 5/5 in every category.

Our far too short time in Vera's small loft was rainy but still incredibly relaxing. We felt right at home thanks to Vera's warm nature. The accommodation is super clean and decorated with visible creativity, love and craftsmanship in all corners. It is really very cozy and, due to the many upcycling and the beautiful location, exceptional and close to nature. Despite the rain, we sat for a long time in the covered outdoor area, watching the cats and ducks and listening to the pouring rain. Lake Baldeney is within walking distance through the beautiful forest and restaurants and supermarkets are also nearby. Cozy and peaceful space close to the sculpture garden. Bettina and Fritz are easy to communicate with, and the place was very clean.

We felt very comfortable with Isabell and Britta. The apartment is clean, tastefully and comfortably furnished, has very good facilities, nothing is missing. The quiet location in the countryside allows for rest breaks and yet it is a good starting point to explore the Ruhr area by car and bike. It was a pleasure to visit the alpacas every day or to watch them from the skylight - they radiate a holiday feeling with their calm. We also learned a lot of interesting things about these great animals from our hosts and even got to experience the shearing. Thank you for a great holiday.

We felt very comfortable and the hosts are extremely friendly. We were also allowed in shortly before check-in and even with short-term inquiries, Niam was quickly accessible and open. We'd love to come back!

Although we had a very short stay of one night, we could not have spent it more relaxed. The check in through the key box was just super relaxed. The apartment was as in the pictures, super clean and tidy. When we are back in the area, we will be happy to come back.

The host was very friendly and accommodating. The listing was exactly what we imagined and there was free food and drink. Simply wonderful!

A very large and super-equipped apartment in a good location with two very special highlights: a whirlpool - and a private cinema with four comfortable armchairs, Netflix access, a large screen and great sound. The location is also great: In a few minutes' walk you can reach the nearest subway station and a shopping center, yet it is very quiet. I was there by bike, and the apartment was the perfect starting point for trips to the Zollverein mine, the Nordsternpark in Gelsenkirchen and other interesting places. The communication with Lucas was great, fast response times and help with questions/problems at any time. If I am drawn back to the area, I would like to stay here again as a guest!

A nice place to stay in a quiet area. Very clean and the hosts were very accommodating! Unfortunately, the whirlpool could no longer be used after 10 pm (at least the "bubble function"), which was a bit annoying for us, as we were on the road all day and wanted to relax in the evening. It was also relatively "dark" in the accommodation itself, due to poor lighting. However, you can tell that the hosts have put a lot of effort and thought into the furnishings and design. A small "basic set" of drinks and snacks was also great. All in all, a nice and quiet place to stay.

Christoph's service was really wonderful. He was attentive to us at all times and for anything we needed. The apartment is beautiful, everything is very carefully thought out to the millimeter and very well thought out for anyone. The house is really cozy. The lighting is very relaxed with those views of the terrace. Without a doubt, my mother and I rested and relaxed as much as we needed. The jacuzzi is amazing. We had a very nice experience. We will definitely repeat

The apartment is very spacious, with high ceilings and large windows. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, freshness of the bed linen and a comfortable bed. The blinds in the bedroom were very useful, thanks to them I was able to sleep. The good pressure in the shower was also pleasing. The kitchen was disappointing. There was no dishwasher, although it was listed in the amenities. We were looking for a place with an equipped kitchen, so that we could cook during our five-day stay. A kitchen without a dishwasher is a thing of the past. Half a day spent washing dishes is not an option for those who intend to cook their own food. The refrigerator was even more disappointing - it was slightly cooler than the air in the kitchen. No freezers were found at all. To cool the drinks, we turned the regulator to the maximum, then loaded the purchases, and by evening all the products were frozen. We had to throw out all the greens, vegetables and buy again. At the same time, we had to buy a sharp knife and a grater. If you eat exclusively outside the house, the location is excellent, a bunch of cafes. With parking, you'll be lucky.

We felt very comfortable with Christian and his family. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, we were more than adequately supplied with coffee and if something is missing, Christian is immediately on the spot. The whirlpool is a real hit, everything is lovingly furnished and clean. We will definitely be back.

The apartment is awesome! Everything is very clean, the amenities are great! Everything you need! I only had to take half of my things from home, because everything was available. Whether in the kitchen or the bathroom. We don't need to talk about the bathroom. It's pure luxury. You can always find a parking spot nearby. It's quiet. Nice neighbors. Public transport is nearby. You can get anywhere fast. And there are also shopping facilities nearby. Dirk was very nice and always available. Everything wonderful.
