The Shell House - a beach romance

The place was perfectly clean and very nicely decorated. Peaceful and private but close to lots of cool stuff. Also quite soothing to sit outside and listen to the waves hitting the beach at night. A great place to stay to check out Bribie Island. Highly recommended.

What a lovely place to spend with our young family over the summer holidays. Jamie’s place is in the perfect location on Bribie and walking distance to the beach and surf club. The apartment is super family friendly for a stay with our little ones. We will definitely go back for a long weekend soon. Loved it!!!

A lovely modern apartment with plenty of room for 5/6 adults. It's well decorated & very clean. A criticism is that location is above a roundabout, so quite noisy. Also found the map on website misleading as it doesn't actually show true position of apartment.

My Family and I absolutely loved our short stay at Phil's house. It was just a short walk to the beach which the kids absolutely loved. Phil accommodated our really late check-in time. He was great to communicate with. We walked into the house around 3:30am the day after check-in and it felt so homely and tidy and everything was ready for us to just go straight to sleep, even as a last minute booking. We had some troubles with the pool table balls and Phil was even willing to offer a partial refund due to this. We were also offered an extended check-out time to make up for the late check-in. Both of which we happily declined due to Phil being an awesome host. The beds were comfortable and helped us to get a restful sleep for the remainder of our drive home. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. We will definitely be back again. Thanks Phil 👌🏻

lovely place to stay at, spacious, great location, easy to find. only downfall was there was 1 tiny fry pan which made cooking for our large family very difficult, and there was only 7 pieces of cutlery / plates ect. so when we had our grandparents over for dinner we had to ask them to byo plate and cutlery 😂

Sally's place was fabulous for our purpose & met our expectations perfectly. Our rescue group had a very enjoyable and productive weekend - it was a great place for our key volunteers to meet up & conduct our online AGM. The house was well-appointed, it had everything we needed and was comfortable and spacious and we all enjoyed our stay (despite the rainy & windy weather).
