Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Wonder Valley, Twentynine Palms

We had an unforgettable and magical experience. Upon our arrival, the home was easy to locate and get in to. The home was charming, peaceful, clean and most of all the backyard view was stunning as we had the backdrop of the mountains. The area is very peaceful and we felt very safe during our stay. It was convenient that Joshua Tree was only 20 minutes away. The hosts were available and easy to reach. We look forward to our future visits here!

What a stunning place, I took so many pictures because the furniture / style is exactly what I’m going for in my new place. Quiet, peaceful, comfortable, incredibly nice place. Would absolutely recommend, especially if you’re visiting Palm Springs or JT. Much nicer than anywhere I’d stay in Palm Springs.

We absolutely adored our stay at Kashmir. The serene setting was utterly magical and the house was beautifully and thoughtfully done. We loved hanging out in the hot tub and watching the stars in the evenings and sitting on the patio drinking coffee in the mornings. The area is stunning with great views and is very private. The outdoor shower is so fun, sexy, and such a vibe. We were impressed by how conveniently located we were as well — despite feeling secluded and rural, we were 15-30min away from basically every adventure we could imagine (including Joshua Tree!). Elizabeth was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to work with. We loved our time so much that we asked to extend our stay; while Kashmir was unavailable, Elizabeth graciously arranged for us to stay at another of her beautiful spots nearby. We really appreciate the flexibility and loved having the extra day in the area. We’re already planning our next visit!!

I and my husband came here for our 4th anniversary, the house was just what we wanted and more! We so enjoyed all the wild life action outside on and around the big rocks also a great place to enjoy the beautiful sunsets! I very much appreciated the refillable water filtering pitcher in the fridge, no problems with water tasting off! The bed was comfortable! No stiff and sore bodies from long travels or problems with a bed that's too soft! The house was clean and cozy (we did find a few crumbs on the couch though we weren't bothered by it) and the mini split AC was easy to use and adjust! Our check in and check out we're both super easy and straightforward; our host was kindly flexible allowing us to arrived at 9pm and checked out at 5am (5 days later)! I give the place a 5 star out of 5 and would give a 9 out of 10 if I could! would definitely come back again and recommend it to everyone!

This is one of the best vacation homes we have ever stayed in. The location was exactly as described and more. Location was beautiful and incredibly peaceful. Stargazing was spectacular and location so very close to hiking and even spent some time in Palm Springs and Palm Desert an easy drive. Would highly recommend this location. Wish we could have stayed longer. Home away from home!!

This house is a desert dream! The pool/spa is divine with the most epic view and peaceful, quite surroundings and cute local birds to watch. The house is beautifully appointed with an eclectic vibe that makes it feel like you're staying at a hip friend's cozy abode. I adored this spot and will be back!

Amazing stay for our 6 people. Well equipped and clean inside and outside of this beautiful house. EV charger is the another reason why we chose this place. Very good location to access the National Park. Super responsive by the host David. Thanks David.

Great spot to soak up sun and relax with family. The place was beautiful with plenty of games/activities on site to keep folks busy. The jacuzzi gave us some trouble initially but Ben had it fixed within an hour. Great host and comfortable home.

she was very understanding and when I told her we didn't have a spatula and no sugar she brought it within 20 minutes and I really appreciated it also check-in was amazing it was easy to get to easy to get in very clean which is awesome post and even a check out I wasn't out at exactly 11:00 and she understood because we had to take trips to my mom's so very understanding host and amazing place I would totally recommend her everyday

Karen is a great host and the listing was wonderful! My boyfriend and I stayed here with our dog and found it to be so peaceful! The outdoor amenities were great for hanging out and the Airbnb itself was more than enough space! We were very comfortable here and would recommend this to anyone visiting the area!

The studio was very cozy! It was what we needed for our Joshua Tree trip- comfortable beds, AC, kitchen, and we loved the added amenities of the pool after a long day of hiking and the deck for stargazing (the skies were clear and incredible). Thank you for hosting!

Hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had! Kerry & Thomas’ place was absolutely beautiful, clean, comfortable, and so well decorated with a unique style and amenities. The outdoor tub/shower and patio really elevated the experience, and we got so much use out of the grill and fire pit. All of the amenities came with clear and helpful instructions and they provided great recommendations of things to do in the area. We were able to spend time in both Joshua Tree and Palm Springs since it’s conveniently located between both. Would highly recommend staying here, you won’t regret it!

This was the second time we stayed at the Alchemist Retreat! It was even better than the first time. This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at and we will continue to return every year. We had an amazing stay at this peaceful Joshua Tree retreat. The place was clean, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Beautiful home with convenient access to JTNP. Furnishings were very comfortable throughout the property, and had most amenities you'd need. Limited bowls & pans in the kitchen for those wanting to cook, otherwise pretty well stocked. Was hoping for better stargazing, but the home is a little too close to "city" lights (Yucca Valley). Although there are a couple neighboring homes, it still felt very private and not too close to anyone. Google maps made it easy to find, but be prepared for a bumpy road (a higher vehicle is probably recommended but not required). Overall it was a great landing pad for 5 nights and would recommend to a single traveler or couple.

Great Airbnb outside the main part of town so it's super peaceful. Very well equipped and so cute!

The best Airbnb I’ve stayed at. Super clean, well-stocked and had everything I needed - even the stuff I usually bring just in case (lighter, wood, foil, coffee grinder, French press, tea, (they have a Keurig too)), full kitchen, nice bathroom supplies, and outdoor setup with a grill, fire pit, and amazing cowboy pool. Loved enjoying the records and guitar. Easy check-in, clear instructions. You can very much tell the hosts put a lot of care into the place!!! It’s a rare special find, go and enjoy!!! They make it easy.

This past weekend, we had a wonderful experience in Joshua Tree. This house was truly picturesque and spacious, perfectly set in the desert nature. Every corner of the property invited relaxation, with spaces designed to enjoy the peace and tranquility that the surroundings offer. The triangular-shaped pool was a great feature, with an ideal size for cooling off and spending time with family. Additionally, the host was incredibly kind and always available to answer our questions. We were definitely very satisfied with our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking to escape to this beautiful place. We hope to return soon!
