Lake house holiday rentals in Wolfgangsee Lake

Constanze's spacious lakeside home was a gem of a find! An idyllic location; gardens leading down to the jetty & lake ; amazing views across to mountains; excellent scenic walks to either end of the lake; train station 5 minutes walk away with regular, reliable service to Salzburg & elsewhere. We made the best use of this beautiful house & location & the wood burning stove was very much appreciated on the cooler evenings! Constanze was a great host, was there to meet & greet us & with excellent communication via phone too & we have no hesitation in recommending her lovely home.

Really lovely traditional Austrian Accomodation. Right in the centre of St Wolfgang. Easy to get to lots of places and very welcoming.

Schönes Haus in wunderbarer Lage. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche dort. Nette Gastgeberin, die jederzeit erreichbar ist. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

La maison disposait de tout ce dont nous avions besoin avec une superbe vue sur le lac Traunsee. L'intérieur est propre et spacieux, bien isolé de la chaleur et du bruit (malgré une route fréquentée derrière la maison). La terrasse est équipée d'un bon mobilier de jardin, d'un barbecue avec charbon de bois, d'un brasero que nous n'avons pas eu le temps de tester hélas. L'accès direct au lac est très appréciable, nous nous sommes baignés tous les jours. Comme indiqué dans l'annonce, il y a le passage de personnes qui viennent chercher leur bateau dans le jardin mais ils sont discrets, ce n'est pas gênant. La famille, par contre, profite aussi de l'accès au lac et du jardin de la maison en y posant sa serviette quand il fait beau, ce qui nous a davantage surpris et mis un peu mal à l'aise. Mais la sympathie de Michael et sa disponibilité ont effacé cela. Nous avons profité du paddle mis à notre disposition pour découvrir le lac. La maison est idéalement située pour découvrir la région.

Ein wirklich toller Ausflug mit der Familie. Das äusserst großzügig geschnittene Haus befindet sich in absoluter Premium-Lage direkt am Mattsee. Was für ein Ausblick. Es ist alle da, was man benötigt. 2 Bäder, Küche mit gehobener Ausstattung, Pizzaofen (Oh ja! Ein echtes Profi-Teil!), BBQ in XXL Format, Sauna, Kamin, es ist einfach alles da. Meganette, freundliche und zuvorkommende Vermieter. Jederzeit gerne wieder!! KLASSE!!!

Excellent stay in peaceful village surrounded with mountains. Turquoise water lake is in a short walking distance. Olesja and her husband were extremely friendly and hospitable and all information about local attractions were provided. Very pleasant stay! Definitely will return to Hintersee on my next visit! In all of my travels, this by far has been one of the very best experiences. The wonderful hosts, Martin & Karin are the most responsive, hospitable, accommodating and friendly hosts I’ve ever dealt with. The house is a traditional style home fully equipped with all amenities. It’s spotlessly clean and situated in a peaceful street with amazing views of the mountains. Wunderschönes „Stöckl“ in ruhiger, idyllischer Umgebung, sehr gemütlich, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Top Lage, alles zu Fuß erreichbar, direkt am Weg um den See. Super Kommunikation mit Christoph. Einfach wunderbar!

The house is perfectly located. It is very near to lake Attersee and approximately 2km far from beautiful waterfall - Nixenfall. Also city Hallstatt which is very nice is approximately 35min. far by car. The house is very large, fully equiped, with garden with beautiful view on rocks around you. You have also private parking on the short road next to house. Anna and Ben had very quick response on our questions and were very nice. If you are looking for good starting point for your hikes or just house for resting from normal life and near to lake (approx. 1km), this is perfect choice.

Ingo and Barbara were pleasant and friendly, with willingness to give advices on possible trips in the surrounding. We could rely on them in case we would need anything to discuss. Equipment of the household was highly above standard. Even out of season is opened nearby restaurant. The whole stay was refreshing.

This is one of the nicest Airbnb properties that we have stayed it. It was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. Rouven gave us lots of helpful tips of places to visit which made our holiday better. The location was excellent for visiting Salzburg and the surrounding lakes. There was loads of space at the property for a family of 4 and the garden was lovely.

Bernhard war ein sehr guter und freundlicher Gastgeber. Das Self-Check-In hat reibungslos geklappt. Für Fragen war Bernhard absolut zuverlässig zu erreichen. Die Wohnung übertraf unsere Erwartungen insbesondere in Anbetracht der Größe und ist ein super Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge Richtung Salzburg und Umland. Für Besucher mit kleineren Kindern ist erwähnenswert, dass der Schlafbereich als Galerie gestaltet ist. Dies ist den Fotos entnehmbar, allerdings waren wir doch irgendwie überrascht- in unserem Fall aber definitiv positiv. Die Küche war für unsere Belange ausreichend bestückt, über die Nespresso Kaffeemaschine und entsprechende Kapseln (Gastgeschenk) haben wir uns ebenso sehr gefreut. Die Unterkunft war eine gute Basis für unseren wunderbaren Urlaub.

Christoph seine Unterkunft ist Makellos und wie auf den Fotos beschrieben. Die Kommunikation mit Christoph war sehr einfach genauso wie der Check in. Sehr schöne Unterkunft im großen ganzen :)

Jagaweh, das ist Urlaub und Entspannung pur! Ein wunderschönes Haus an einem wunderschönen Platz…Alleinlage, Wanderungen ab der Haustür, Ausblick auf den See, irre Sonnenuntergänge und neidisch drein schauende Wanderer ;) Wir hatten eine ganz tolle Zeit und wurden rundherum liebevoll vom Gastgeber betreut. Danke!

Wat een prachtig uitzicht rondom dit appartement. Het appartement voldeed zeker aan onze verwachtingen. Het was er brandschoon en alles was we nodig hadden was aanwezig. Prima uitvalsbasis voor dagjes weg, bergwandelen etc. Gerald en zijn vrouw zijn hele aardige en behulpzame mensen. Hartelijk dank, we hebben genoten van ons verblijf bij jullie. Wat ons betreft een aanrader.

Die Kommunikation mit Sandra war wunderbar ganz zu schweigen von der wirklich traumhaften Unterkunft. Wir haben sehr spontan gebucht und trotzdem hat alles sehr gut geklappt. Ein late Check-In war möglich, weshalb wir schon nachts anreisen konnten. Auch haben wir uns sehr über den Ordner mit Aktivitäten im Umkreis gefreut, denn so konnten wir trotz des leider schlechten Wetters das Beste aus der Zeit machen. Das Haus ist sehr schön aufgebaut und gut gelegen - der Baumwipfelpfad und die Sommerrodelbahn sind eine wirkliche Empfehlung. Auch das Durchgangszimmer für uns kein Problem, da die Jungs so gemeinsam wie in einem großen Raum schlafen konnten und die Mädels unten ihr eigenes Zimmer hatten. Comfortable, cozy house, fully equipped, an excellent choice for a large company. The ski resort is 20 minutes by car. Sandor is very attentive, always ready to help and answer questions. We really liked the wine cellar. It was nice to receive 2 bottles of wine as a welcome gift. Thank you very much Sandor, we recommend staying in your house
