Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Wise County

This place was so amazing! We were here visiting family, and the location was perfect for us. We were within walking distance to several restaurants, an incredible walking trail, and there was even an arcade nearby! The apartment was decorated so beautifully. There were so many elements showcasing the area’s history. We truly enjoyed looking at everything! The beds were comfy, and the kitchen was amazing. I would definitely stay here again!:)

First off Matthew was a great host! We were allowed to check in early and everything was as described...He even went out and bought me creamer and sugar before we arrived because i said coffee was a necessity! We were very comfortable there for the 5 days we stayed! Very nice small town vibe. Totally worth the price we paid and if I were ever to be in the area in the future I would stay at Matthew's place again! Very comfortable and felt like I was home...not at all hotel!!

Phillip was a great host. He was very responsive and helpful with any questions I had. The unit is lovely, clean, and very well-stocked with anything needed. It is in a great location, close to several fast food restaurants, a grocery store, and a liquor/wine store, all within walking distance, but, at the same time, it was very quiet and peaceful. I will definitely be staying here again on a visit to Whitesburg!

Short stay but apartment was very nice…comfortable and clean. For anyone with mobility issues, it is a second story apartment accessible only by stairs.

This place was awesome. I don't believe I have ever stayed in someone else's home and felt as "at home" as I did at the Shepsted. It was so cozy and I will definitely stay again.

We came to Big Stone Gap to attend the Blue Highway Fest. Amy’s place was perfect for two ladies traveling together. It was spotless! We were very comfortable. Amy was kind enough to lend us two lawn chairs to use at the festival. Highly recommend!

The Farmhouse is a wonderful Airbnb. The decor is tasteful, the rooms all very nice. Whitesburg, and most of Eastern Kentucky is extremely hilly. The Farmhouse, like most housing in the area is built on a hillside. Be prepared to climb a number of steps to get to the house. This is not a complaint, it is an observation. Our other observation is that the Farmhouse overlooks the SR 15 bypass that bypasses downtown Whitesburg. Traffic noise is unavoidable when sitting on the lovely front porch, or on the deck.

It is always so clean everything is wonderful.

Bonita’s place was a real gem to find. I stayed there with my son, while he played at a soccer match, we were both very comfortable and felt right at home. The house had everything we needed and Bonita even left us some cheese danishes and offered extended times for check-in and check-out. I would definitely recommend this house and will stay again the next time in town.

Here on a M-F business adventure. Eva and Wayne are very welcoming hosts. Greeted us and shared some great knowledge of the area. The place is clean throughout. Great having the covered carport in the front, kept it cooler outside with the high summer temps. When the moon came out, the back deck was the perfect spot for stargazing, sipping, and talking. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We bought groceries locally and cooked our own meals for the trip except for dinner in town one night. Kitchen was stocked with everyday pans and utensils. The surrounding area is walkable, some small hills, but not terrible. Definitely look into this place if needing a place to stay versus a hotel, especially if you prefer to cook your own meals. Thank you Eva and Wayne for the hospitality, a beautiful stay, and the cheesecake was a delight.

This was a cute cozy house with a newly renovated bathroom. Nice ceramic flooring in the bath. Beds were comfortable. The fire alarm bracket was in the living room, but there was not a smoke detector. We really enjoyed the place. However, the kitchen sink and the shower shelf were not clean.
