Christene's place is super comfortable and well-organized, well located and ideal for families. We stayed for a month (basically all of August 2021) -- though the weather was very when we arrived the two air conditioning units (one in the dining room, one in the primary bedroom upstairs), fans, and architecture were great for keeping things comfortable inside. Goldilocks would approve of the beds and couches, which were just right, neither too hard nor too soft. We used the projector and our laptop for family movie nights and the kitchen, dining room and patio/bbq were perfect for family dinners. The neighborhood is great for walks and bike rides, and was an ideal base for exploring Winnipeg and surrounding areas. I really enjoyed evening walks along the tree-shaded streets of River Heights. Christene was very responsive and thorough in dealing with a couple of minor issues (wasp nest on the patio, small plumbing leak) that popped up during our stay. Overall it was the perfect temporary home to start our life in Winnipeg.

We had a great visit for my Mum’s memorial. The house was in the quiet and beautiful setting of north River Heights. Close to the airport but close to great running routes into Assiniboine Park or along Wellington Crescent. Also within a short walk or drive to all amenities.

I especially appreciated having a washer and dryer and an electric charger for my car. The location is ideal: quiet and peaceful, yet just minutes from everything you might need. I loved exploring the walking trail right behind the house. The list of local recommendations provided was incredibly helpful, and I absolutely adored the Thai restaurant they suggested. Quite a few delicious and thoughtful surprises throughout my stay here made me feel very spoiled! Most importantly, I felt completely safe and cared for throughout my stay. The Hacktons are wonderful hosts, and it’s clear they’ve poured love and intention into creating a place that feels peaceful, welcoming, and full of heart. This is the kind of Airbnb you remember long after you leave.

A very clean and quiet place to have a short stay in your trip. Price is also cheap. All together it’s an great place to live in.
