This apartment offers you both: tranquility in the countryside and yet you are in the middle of Munich in just 30 minutes. The train station is a 2-minute walk away. The Ammersee and Wörthsee, two of the most beautiful lakes in the Munich area, can also be reached by car in 15 minutes. The apartment is located in a house with six parties on the property where my grandparents' house used to be. That's why there are still some memorabilia in the apartment, such as my grandmother's old sewing machine.

The location is ideal for cycling and swimming also in the Wörth and Pilsen lakes. The centre can be reached on foot in 6 Min.. Munich can be reached in ca. 25 Min. (35 km), Neuschwanstein and Zugspitze in approx. 90 Min.

You can visit many seaside resorts on Lake Ammersee by car or bike or start fantastic walks across the fields, into the forest or to the river away from the hustle and bustle outside the front door. A day trip to the Alps or to Munich (S-Bahn 7 km away) are great options. An extensive cycling network invites you to explore the region. Let your soul unwind on the south balcony or work there in peace.

The lake shore is just a few steps away. Welcome to the beautiful western shore of Lake Ammersee. The magnificent views of the lake and the Alps were already appreciated at the end of the 19th century. Painters, musicians, and wealthy citizens were drawn here for their summer holidays.

The house on the lake belongs to my wife and me. My son and his wife coordinate the rental for us (co-hosts). The lower apartment in the house is rented, the upper one we use occasionally. We look forward to welcoming you as guests in the upper apartment. The apartment is newly renovated, 100 sqm2 in size, offers plenty of space, light and a view over the lake and the mountains – great to unwind. The beautiful apartment offers about 45 m² of living space with a living room with TV, a fully equipped fitted kitchen with dining table, bathroom, terrace and bedroom. The bedroom has a box spring bed (180 × 200 cm). Towels, sheets and a separate entrance are included. Parking is possible on the opposite side of the street. The Türkenfeld S-Bahn is about 5 km away, Munich can be reached by car in 25–30 minutes.

There is a dog living in the house that you may encounter.
