Comfortable yurt tucked in a small grove of Aspen trees. Yurt window overlooks a creek, Teton Valley, and Teton Mountain Range. Close access to Grand Targhee, Jackson Hole, Teton River, and Grand Teton national park.
“This place was one of the most peaceful Airbnb stays we have ever experienced. My fiance and I visited Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons for a total of 5 days. We are always searching for unique stays wherever we go and this one is by far one of our favorites! The photos do not even do this stay justice! Not only do you get a private, peaceful and beautiful natural hideaway, you get a view of the Tetons just outside your window! There is a cute little babbling stream on the backside of the yurt that you get to cross over on the short hike from the car. There is nothing better than falling asleep to the sound of flowing water! Our first stay here was for two nights. As we arrived I was astounded with the beauty of the foliage on the trail to the yurt! It was like something you'd only dream about. The yurt is nestled in a narrow forest with views on both sides of the property. We stayed here the first week of June and the weather couldn't have been more perfect! The Tetons were still capped with snow which provided a beautifully contrasted view to enjoy. There was a fire pit which we hung our hammocks around and were able to make dinner on the grate provided. Firewood is plentiful, but keep in mind you may have to chop the wood yourself. My fiance didn't mind, as he was able to show off his manly-ness for me and re-create his dream of being a lumberjack (he forgot his flannel shirt though). Kathryn provides several items you will need, incase you forget them. There were fire starters, several lanterns (batteries provided), two cots (which we didn't use but they are there), a large, comfy bed, a lighter, among several other items. We had everything we needed. There is a full manual that explains all that needs to be done when you check out, which is pretty easy. It's much like camping; pack in and pack out. Once we checked out we just took our trash to a nearby landfill/trash site and dumped for only $5. We enjoyed our stay the first two nights so much that we cancelled our third and final stay for the trip and re-booked the Yurt for our last night! We did not want to leave and neither did our pup. We live in Vegas so soft grass is lacking so she was happy to be able to run around and play fetch without hurting her feet on rocks! Oh! and there is an owl that came out each night for his hunt and we were able to get some photos of him and observe him catching his prey, so that was exciting! You will not regret staying here! Matter of fact, you will never want to leave.”
The Sheep Herder's Wagon is not the name of a room, it is truly a wagon! This Wagon is part of Teton View Bed & Breakfast, located on nice property in Jackson Hole, close to Grand Teton and Yellowstone Nat'l Parks with views of the Tetons! The Wagon is tastefully done and rate includes a delicious breakfast. Available for younger or able-bodied guests as it is a high step up to reach bed. There is NO bathroom in the Wagon though guests have a private bathroom with tub/shower in main house.
“Our stay at Carol and Franz’s bed and breakfast Sheep Herder wagon was absolutely wonderful! Carol and Franz are exceptionally warm and welcoming people and they made us feel right at home! My boyfriend and I were a little bit nervous about staying in the wagon for 2 days (he’s 6’5” and we weren’t sure if he would fit haha) but it far exceeded our expectations and we fit just fine. We felt so cozy at night with the cool breeze coming in through the wagon window as we snuggled up in seriously the most comfortable bed ever! On our first morning there, we saw a baby moose right behind our wagon at the salt lick and we were able to watch her up close from the wagon window! Then the mama moose came strolling across the yard looking for the baby and also stopped to enjoy the salt lick behind our wagon. It was a once in a lifetime experience, getting to watch nature up close from the comfort of our bed in the wagon!! Carol and Franz’s bed and breakfast is so peaceful and beautiful and it’s perfectly located for visiting the Grand Tetons, Jackson, and the drive to Yellowstone was only 1.5 hours! They prepared an amazing breakfast for us and the other guests, and they shared many suggestions for sight seeing and hiking for our visits to the National parks. I would very highly recommend a stay with Carol and Franz at their sheep herder wagon, you absolutely will not regret it!! Thank you Carol and Franz for the lovely time!”

The living space is perfect for a quiet night in front of a fire or movie night with the whole family.
“I stayed at Tucker's condo for a month while visiting family. I grew up in the area and can attest that this property is in a terrific location and is one of the largest and most modern 2 bedroom units in the Aspens. The corner-unit was another main reason I selected this particular unit from the others available within the Aspens. Having three sides of outdoor lighting makes a big difference during the day-time. It also allows for great cross ventilation. Most of the properties listed in the Aspens do not have air conditioning and the many window really helped keep the condo cool as did the beautiful trees fronting the condo. The host (Tucker) is super responsive and reasonable. Thanks Tuck! I'll be back this winter!”
