We stayed the May 2025 long weekend and had a great time at Carl's place. The host was quick and responsive and the house was cozy, thanks to the fireplace! The only minor things were one of the bedrooms didn't have any curtains and the fridge smelled fishy. Other than that, great spot right by the lake! I'd recommend Carl's place to future guests.

We really enjoyed the cottage and waterfront. The fact that it is dog friendly was amazing. Our dog loved having the lake right outside the door so he could swim everyday. The cottage was perfect for our needs. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay at Lady Nedine’s place. The host family was very friendly and made us feel at home. They were also extremely responsive, answering all my questions quickly. The place was comfortable and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy being close to nature. We’ll definitely be back soon!

We had a wonderful relaxing staycation at Michael’s place. This was hands-down the best equipped Air BnB we’ve stayed at - anything you might need, they’ve thought of it. Beautiful modern decor, absolutely spotless, and the split layout is ideal for a family reunion with multiple parent/kid groups. Gorgeous, peaceful location - I can just imagine how amazing it will be in the summer with all of the fun outdoor amenities! Michael was always responsive and super thoughtful throughout our stay. If you find yourself in the Barry’s Bay area, you can’t go wrong here. :-)
