Located in a quiet secondary road in the southern hillside location, you have a great view from the spacious terrace over the beautiful landscape of the Bergisches Land. The location is an ideal starting point for hiking, biking or short trips, e.g. to the spa town of Nümbrecht.

The apartment is located at the Zeppelinstreet in the quiet mansion district of Gummersbach. 3min to the city centre (where you can find shopping possibilities, restaurants, cinemas and bars) by foot, 2 min away from the nature and 5 min to the highway (Cologne aprox. 25 min "Köln fare visitor" by car). The over 700 year old castle Haus Bamenohl is hidden behind old trees in the middle of an idyllic park in the heart of the Sauerland hills. As guest of the Vicounts of Plettenberg, who have been living here since 1433, you can relax for some quiet days alone, spend a romantic weekend for two at the fireplace or take a family outing. Whether it's hiking in the wonderful nature, cycling, sailing, golfing, skiing - Bamenohl is worth a visit.

In the green suburb of the climatic health resort of Nümbrecht, you will find my small but fine one-room holiday cave. Rural yet central. Playgrounds, pony farm, restaurants, wildlife park, parks, stalactite cave, Homburg Castle and much more, even within walking distance. Children are of course ♡welcome. Room for maximum 4 persons is available. Whether as a vacationer or business trip, our apartment is the good alternative to the hotel. Comfort and yet privacy, with its own parking space for a car and privacy-protected terrace.
