Cottage holiday rentals in White Lake

We had a guys weekend here and it was perfect. We ended up cooking feasts and their set up for cookware is the best I've seen by far; they've got it all. The rooms were comfortable, bathroom is nice and large, and the property itself is very well set up.

We had a wonderful stay at the Red House! The space was very cozy, yet surprisingly roomy — perfect for relaxing and feeling right at home. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, and the setting felt peaceful and private throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a quiet retreat.

We had an amazing stay at Greg’s cottage. It was the perfect getaway and the perfect mix between cozy cottage and fancy amenities! We loved the sauna and the hot tub, they were amazing additions to Greg’s. The beds were super comfortable as well which is always a plus at a cottage. Greg was always responsive and was super helpful. We cannot wait to come back to this cozy cottage! Thanks Greg!

Harsh’s cottage is pure magic. Surrounded by peaceful nature and trails, it’s the perfect escape. The open-concept king bedroom with sunrise views, the soothing jacuzzi, and the dreamy outdoor fireplace under the stars made every night unforgettable. But the highlight - Harsh helped my Fiancé plan the perfect proposal. We returned from dinner in Ottawa to find rose petals, glowing candles, a “Marry Me” sign on the deck, champagne, cake, and a handwritten card. It felt like stepping into a fairytale. Harsh went above and beyond with heart and care. A mesmerizing, romantic haven we’ll never forget. Thank you, Harsh.☺️

This cottage was perfectly curated for a family/friend’s getaway! Their home was spacious, and well equipped from the kitchen to the fire outside. If you didn’t have a plan for the weekend, they have a detailed booklet on everything near by. I really appreciated them giving us the heads up on the northern lights, and providing 2 Bon Echo Park passes to the guests! The communication was fast, and the location was perfect. There’s nothing more I could even ask for.

Sanja is an incredible host! Very friendly and responds super fast. The cabin was perfectly cozy and included great amenities. The hot tub was large and very nice for a chilly night. Definitely recommend!

Kim & Scott’s Honey Bear Cottage is a beautiful, peaceful escape surrounded by nature. The setting is incredibly serene, yet there’s lots to do both at the cottage and nearby. The space was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Kim & Scott were fantastic hosts—friendly, responsive, and made everything feel easy. It was the perfect spot for a getaway and we had an amazing time. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Thanks for a great stay. We had everything we needed in the house with wonderful access to a lovely sandy beach. We enjoyed the use of the paddle boards to explore the expansive shoreline. The location is near some walking trails in the woods which our dog really enjoyed. The cottage was adjacent a public beach which was busy on the weekends, however nice and siren on the weekdays to sit and watch the sunrise. We would certainly recommend and stay again.

This cottage is a small slice of paradise! The cottage is cozy and well-equipped, and the property is beautiful and easy to explore. We came with our 8-month old, and it was so nice to have children's books, different toys, and the play structure outside. We enjoyed a hike around the small lake, and we are hoping to return in the summer to get in the water.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Had such a relaxing time at the river nest and I would 100% recommend booking this spot. Will plan to go back in the future for sure!! Our hosts were so kind and made us feel right at home! The master bed was so comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need, and if you like sitting by the fire you'll love the cozzy vibes! This is a beautiful cottage. The lake access is the real highlight and the hosts have really leaned into this providing lots of opportunities for water recreation, including a good sized dock, multiple kinds of boats (kayaks, a canoe, a peddle boat, and paddle boards), and a large floaty that acts as a second dock. Speakers at the waters edge were a nice touch! The hosts were also great. Very responsive and friendly, and proactively reached out to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The cottage itself isn’t huge if you plan to spend the majority of your time inside, but this wasn’t an issue for us as we spent the majority of our time by the water. It was big enough to fit 10 around the dining table for meals and games. All in all, it was a great experience.

We have had the pleasure of staying at Elsie’s Lyncreek cottage for several years now. What keeps us coming back? Peaceful and quiet surroundings where you can totally relax and recharge. We love just to sit and watch the river for wildlife and read a book. We really appreciate the care and attention that Elsie gives the cottage - every year we see improvements and updates. Thanks for a great visit again Elsie!

I couldn't be more thankful to Sean for opening up this gorgeous cabin/house for us on the most amazing river. The house is immaculate, trust me I'm an airforce brat! The Sofa and chairs invited you ti relax as long as you want in deep comfort, and the lovely extra blankets and cushions are just wonderful. At night, the firepit and the comfy chairs kept us all smiling. The screened tent is fantastic for sitting right beside the river. The stones at the water's edge are flat and smooth mostly, great for getting your feet wet. And the best part of all, the wonderful sound of the river, which you can hear from the front door. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the wildlife. Ducks, Robin's, yellow finches, hummingbirds, and more. The chipmunks are adorable as well. MY friends and I were sincerely impressed and had an amazing stay.

We had a wonderful stay a Tom’s cottage. It was easy to get to and had all the room and amenities we could want. Lots of room to run and play. Great Lake to play in. We loved that it was dog friendly so it saved us the expense and the headache of a kennel. Our teenager loved how great the wifi was and the huge TV for the evenings. Tom sent lots of great info ahead of check in and the instructions for check out were clear and easy. We’d absolutely stay there again and recommend to any friends or family looking for a place to relax.

What an amazing space. From the outside you feel transported into a story book, while the inside is tastefully rustic with 70s elements. It’s also stocked so well, I was throughly surprised. A walk to the beach is only roughly 5-10 minutes and it offers the tranquility you need. I will definitely be booking again.

This was an amazing place to stay. We took out our employees for a weekend getaway and would suggest this place to anyone looking for a fun/peaceful location. will definitely be back again.

We had a great time at Brenda’s space on the lake. Being able to look out over the lake was a great way to wake up. Brenda was responsive and helpful with any questions we had.

This was our 3rd time staying at Jennifer and Tom's beautiful cottage. It is a great location for day trips to Ottawa yet secluded enough to just relax. Fantastic hosts and lots of personal touches. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay! Aaron was super communicative and responded promptly to any questions we had. Both the cottage itself and surrounding area was beautiful. Definitely bring your bug spray, but cannot recommend this place enough!

Beautiful family stay! We brought two toddlers who loved hanging out on the dock, hanging out on the swing and eating on the picnic table on nice days. The DVD collection was awesome as well! No issue with hot spotting for anything else. One thing to note is the (gorgeous) glass table and winding staircase require a bit of extra supervision with young ones. Total paradise for young families or small groups :)

Dayna and David are INCREDIBLE hosts. They took care of every detail and looked after us when we were effectively snowed in. Their home is creative, beautiful, peaceful, spacious. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The whole neighbourhood is gorgeous and talk about lovely people! We want to come back in the summer. And the sauna! Let me tell you, in the winter, this was the sweetest treat. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience and how we were treated - like close friends. They get my highest recommendation.
