Great experience all around. Very nice house. Very clean. Great view of the lake and surrounding area. The host had great communication as well. Community pool was very nice.

Captain's Quarters was a great place for a peaceful weekend retreat. The house was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Our favorite part was the screened porch overlooking the lake - what a view and a great place to relax. Caitlin was very responsive and proactive in providing instructions and ideas for things to do locally. I highly recommend Captain's Quarters.

We decided to treat my son to a graduation trip and had an awesome time this week at this beautiful lake house! We wanted to stay on Center Hill Lake because my son and his friends love to kayak, fish and enjoy the boats at the marina. They were able to do all three. The pool table, ping-pong table and hot tub were a big plus. The basement/game room area was perfect for a group of kids because the door to the main floor separates them from the rest of the house so they can have fun and not worry about being too loud. The garage doors were so fun and allowed for fresh air each day while they played pool. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable which is a big plus for me. The views are amazing and the community is peaceful and quiet. The pool was perfect and the grill was just what we needed for burgers and steaks. Aaron was a great host! Super helpful and quick to respond. Book a trip soon! You will love it!

We had an issue with the lockbox, but Tracey was very helpful and responsive even so late in the evening. The house is beautiful.

We were absolutely blown away by the cleanliness of the home, all of the extra supplies included and the jacuzzi, swim spa and kayaks! We didn’t have to leave the home at all (although did venture to Cookeville several times). Most of the memories were made without having to leave the property. The boat launch right across the street made kayaking very easy. A great place for families as something for everyone to do. The correspondence with the hosts was quick and they were very helpful and super friendly. We 100% recommend this place!

This is our second time to stay at this property. Once for our son’s graduation from Tennessee Tech and this past time for his wedding. We also rented their other property around the corner. Both properties are perfect for a little get away!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect and made it easy to relax and enjoy our trip. Our host was incredibly responsive. We'd absolutely love to come back again soon.

We had a good stay! We brought paddle boards & the river was a great experience. It was so easy having quick access to the river. The house was beautiful, clean, & spacious! We enjoyed morning breakfast on the patio. My only complaint was the neighbors. One of their goats woke us up ~4am each morning by running up & down our stairs, followed by their rooster a couple hours later. Usually that wouldn’t bother us, but we were trying to catch up on sleep while away from our littles. That didn’t ruin our stay because it was overall quiet & relaxing.

This place is such a hidden gem. It’s clean, unique, comfortable and cozy. The aesthetic is authentic and the open floor plan is spacious. The host was very kind and quick to respond, especially after booking the airbnb so late. The view is to die for and the privacy makes for a peaceful getaway. It has everything you’ll need if you want to make a weekend of it. Close to many state parks and waterfalls.

From start to finish Alexa was so helpful, friendly and walked us through everything. The cozy cottage was so adorable and looked just like the pictures. I would definitely book again when I go back to Cookeville, TN.

We have stayed here twice and will stay here again when we travel to the area. Home is exactly as pictured. Very peaceful. You’ll understand this if you’ve stayed in numerous Air BnB’s…I really appreciated that there were plenty of towels and they were all in great condition. If you’re considering booking this home, don’t hesitate. You won’t be disappointed.

Just a Wonderful location, and a beautiful house that was perfect for our needs. Plenty of room, and very comfortable overall. Great parking situation so plenty of room for 5 cars, maybe more. Would definitely stay here again!

Scott is BEYOND attentive, available, and responsive when it comes to his guests! This property is spacious and in the perfect location—especially if you’re visiting Tennessee Tech, love great restaurants, and would like to do some shopping. I would definitely stay again and I highly recommend!

Place was wonderful and felt right at home. Liked the welcome book with great local information. We visit often and would book again.

We rented two of the three properties at this location, next year we will be adding the third to our trip! The homes are lovely and welcoming, the decks are spacious and had room for all of the adults to sit and talk while watching all of the children run around and explore the trails on the property. I honestly can’t put into words how beautiful it was. If you are looking for a place to really unplug, reconnect, and make last memories and quite possibly new traditions, then this is it. We had plenty of sleeping space, dining space and parking space for 20 people! Brian and Allison were terrific host, quick to respond, and so very kind! We will be back!

We came to TN for a little vacation. We did not intend to stay long. Once we got to this location, we fell in love and within a week we were planning on moving here! Brian and Susan are some of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet! The house was only just a fraction of everything that was amazing! Invite your friends…family and you won’t be disappointed!! The location sits on a 25ft waterfall just a 10min hike through the woods and creek behind the house. It’s secluded and has a watering hole to swim in! It’s very nice private and the scenery is beautiful. It’s a 15min drive to Walmart, Publix and a shopping mall. Just an hour drive from broadway and minimal traffic. You won’t regret it!!

We were very pleased with Scott's house. It was just as described, very clean and welcoming. We were there to hike for the week, and it was easy to find our way around the area. It was very quiet, and we felt very safe staying there. We definitely would stay there again if in the area.
