Villa holiday rentals in Western Finland

Very nice cottage, the 7-person crew could accommodate well. Everything worked without a hitch: easy check-in, good kitchen utensils, nice sauna with two showers - and we were able to stay at the cottage for up to a few hours on the day of departure, thanks! Firewood in the shed as we kept the fire in the fireplace on the deck. The gas grill on the deck worked well. We especially liked the surroundings of the cottage: the beautiful pine cloth terrain inspired the walks, and we even went to the nearby pond to water the winter coats (lovely sandy beach)! Two kilometers away, you'll find the Sacrifice Fountain and the Cold Mill, beautiful natural sites where we took a little walk. Thanks to Tiina for a nice cottage weekend - here we'd love to come back!

We (a family of 3) stayed in Jonas and Kajsa’s house for two months and didn’t want to leave! As soon as we walked in we felt at home. Kajsa and Jonas both went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The apartment is completely self-contained, and bigger than I had imagined. The rooms are all very large and the beds are comfortable. The house was perfect for a long stay. There is a washing machine, toiletries, a well-equipped kitchen, cookbooks, novels, games, etc. We did not have a car and it was easy to get around on foot and by bus. There is a nice forest with trails just outside the door and a large grocery store and pizzeria within easy walking distance. It takes about 45 minutes to walk downtown or there is a bus that comes every 15 minutes. It is a very quiet and peaceful place and excellent value. We would love to stay there again.

A lovely place in the countryside with a beautiful landscape, charming old buildings, a great sauna and most of all: amazing and friendly hosts! We received valuable help from the hosts to make our stay memorable and wonderful! A perfect place for a small group of friends to spend a peaceful weekend. There are several interesting sites in the area (Loviisa, Malmgård, Strömfors). Thank you, Peter and Aina! We wish you and your beautiful place all the best.

Once again, a successful mini-vacation. The price-quality ratio of the place is just great. Quiet, private place. The beach barbecue area has now also been tested. It is a functional, good preparation level and facilities in the canopy, and the rainy weather did not bother at all. I highly recommend the place. Riku is a great host. Communication works well and everything else is really flexible.

Breathtaking house on the lake. Words cannot do it justice as it goes above and beyond what you expect. Everything was perfect, everything you needed was there. Instructions could be a little clearer on how to work things but we managed in the end. I couldn’t recommend this place enough even if it took about 5 hours to get to from Helsinki! Well worth the travel, will definitely return someday…

We have spent a beautiful week end at Sole’s house! The place is beautiful and cozy! You can find everything you need. And the most amazing is the view from the windows you can see only water! Very peaceful and quiet. Will come back again!

We had a great stay at this superb villa in Päijänne. Villa was even more impressive than in photos and everything was high quality, very clean and well maintained. Beach sauna and jacuzzi were the perfect combo to relax in the evening. Highly recommend for a getaway in nature.

A fine and luxurious place, where it is very pleasant to spend time with a larger group. The whole is crowned by a traditional wood-fired lakeside sauna, from which it is really nice to jump into the lake to cool off. Everything went well and smoothly in terms of accommodation. I can truly recommend this place.

We had a bachelor party dinner, and the extra beds could easily accommodate 10 people. We brought our own decorations that were useless when the space itself was so beautiful and decorative. The kitchen facilities and supplies were functional, and you could use a beautiful set of dishes. Minna provided clear instructions about the stay. I recommend this place to host a group of friends parties. Thanks!

The visit for a few nights went on 10/10 in Vääksy. The stay was just what the brochure promised, if not a touch better. Sauna, hot tub, etc. I highly recommend this home. I could imagine that in the summer, a couple of nights in this place might even be too short a visit.

Amazing place to stay for our big Belgian/Finnish family to relax, to have privacy and to enjoy the Finnish outdoor. The photos represent the house and surroundings very accurately. We have absolutely no remarks about this place. We would definitely come back to this place!

This house was perfectly suited for our large group of 13 persons, including 6 children ranging from 1 to 11 years. The house is very well equipped and has a nice garden and patio where we spent the evenings BBQ'ing and eating dinner while the children was playing in the garden. Juha was an excellent host who responded and gave support quickly.

Had a fantastic stay. The property is absolutely beautiful and private with lake views galore. The immaculate sauna is a stones throw from the beach and the hot tub is even closer. We went in August and the entire house was surrounded by ripe wild ligonberries and blueberries. The house is very comfortable, especially the kitchen and dining area. There were way fewer bugs than I was expecting out by the lake, but this still probably is not the place to take your sister-in-law from the city who freaks out if she sees a bumblebee or a fly. Arttu and Paula were very welcoming and had great recommendations in Finland and Estonia. Already scheming as to how we can come back for more Sauna, lake, repeat. Highly recommend.

We had a stay that exceeded all expectations! The house is beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. The highlight is definitely the private pool, complemented by its own pier and a small beach, providing a perfect seaside retreat. The hosts were friendly and responsive, making our stay truly enjoyable. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Such a beautiful spot to spend a few days in Lahti, which is also a very beautiful place too! This was the perfect place for us to stay, we came to Lahti for a long gravel bike race and the house was comfortable and relaxing and had everything we could have wanted, including a hot tub to rest our weary bodies after a long day on gravel trails. Highly recommend staying here to everyone who visits beautiful Lahti - in summer and in winter! Super clean, wonderful amenities, and what an amazing setting nestled into the forest.

This farmhouse is charming, rustic with a touch of modern, and peaceful. Everything was exactly as described and the property was not difficult to find. You can sit out on the front stoop with a cup of coffee and listen to the sounds of nature, with nothing else bothering you like traffic or other city noises. We liked walking around and looking at all the different flowers and trees on the property; so much to look at! Modern appliances in the kitchen made cooking easy and there were plenty of places to sit and relax. Jan was very responsive to questions. If you're going to the Oulu area, don't pass up an opportunity to stay at a place like this!
