We live in a lovely residential area. 2 min walk away there is a direct bus route into Edinburgh City Centre. The bus takes approx 25 min & stops include Haymarket and Princes Street. It takes 15 min to drive to the City Centre & Edinburgh Airport, & a 12 min drive to Murrayfield stadium. Locally there’s 2 pubs, 2 restaurant & a Co-op.

Lovely apartment close to city, garden & driveway

This is not a good choice of apartment if you are looking to go out, get drunk, play loud music and make a lot of noise. I have neighbours with young children so there is zero tolerance on parties, loud music, disturbing the neighbours or having guests in the property in addition to the those who booked (2 max.). I will be advised of these situations and will have no option but to end your stay and seek compensation.

Everything has been thought of nice details. Really felt at home and welcome. This is a great choice for single travellers. Felt a kindred spirit and very friendly family home here but with respect for your space. Thoughtful touches and extremely comfortable mattress and room. Good advice and knowledge. Lovely good pressure in the shower over the bath in separate bathroom. Very peaceful and quiet and will return for sure. Effort is made to make you feel at ease.

Ava was such a friendly, helpful, and welcoming host. I loved staying with her. I felt perfectly relaxed and comfortable. She provided everything i needed. If i ever stay in the area again, I'll definitely be staying with her. Very good service and good value.

Quiet canalside en-suite double bedroom

Both Laura and Antón have been very kind, pleasant and talkative, without being intrusive and allowing you to maintain your privacy while you are living in a part of their beautiful home. The reception was warm and welcoming, as was the farewell where Laura also helped us quickly get to the nearest point where we could take public transport to the airport. Our room was sufficiently secluded and had a bathroom with impeccable cleanliness and really new, with a very comforting shower and good ventilation. Soft sheets and towels. You could also use the dining room and part of the kitchen, allowing us to enjoy light breakfasts and dinners with views of the garden and the canal. The house is located next to a canal, and by walking along its promenade at a brisk pace, you can easily reach the center of Edinburgh in about 35 minutes. You can also take the bus, which takes about twenty minutes. In general, everything was very nice.

I had a really good stay at Magdalena's place and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Magdalena was friendly and down to earth and she went out of her way to make me feel comfortable during my stay. The airbnb was approx 30 mins bus journey to city centre, which was super convenient. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

My mum and I stayed for a concert. It was easy to commute to, quick walk too. Staying with Fleur was amazing! Fleur is so so lovely and such a pleasure to talk to. Her space is so clean and homely. We both would highly recommend you booking here for a nice stay in Edinburgh. Thank you so much Fleur, you were a pleasure ❤️

D is an excellent host, and her place is perfect. She gave clear instructions to locate her home, which is conveniently located right next to the bus stop - making commuting to the city centre super easy. The room is quite spacious and includes a table for studying. The kitchen has all the necessary amenities. D was kind enough to get me yoghurt, some snacks, and even strawberries. She is well-travelled and knowledgeable, so it's always fun discussing different topics with her. I had a very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend her place to others.
