Beser Bay - Raja Ampat Islands

LauraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The two story bungalows in Beser Bay and the surrounding bungalows are all located in a stunning environment with very interesting mangroves and rock features. You will be surrounded by friendly local families who take very good care of their guests! Catch sunset at the end of the jetty, aka WiFi point. Schedule activities through what’s app or catch one of the guides the evening you arrive. Petrik and Rico took us all the way out to Pianemo to snorkel and hike and back to Waisai to catch the 9:00 ferry, it was an amazing stay overall!

Junior Homestay

BenjaminRating, 5 stars13 months ago
Be the most honest, so you have expectations accordingly. The place is wonderful. The cabins are all good, what to expect for the remote place where you are. Food we had fish, chicken, vegetables (the paradise of vegetarians probably) there were no rats in the cabanas, but if we saw one in the common area one night. They sell beer and drinks, nothing more. I recommend bringing snacks for an afternoon or just in case you don't like the local food. Halfred is very helpful, but we had a delay on the last day for our boat a waisai, it is understandable because we asked for it for 3.50am and I arrive at 4.30 to see the birds of paradise, but since it was delayed we could only see 1/2, I know that it is not his fault and it is more of the boat, but it was still a pity to have overshadowed the experience due to that stumbling. Nothing from the other world the same, the overall experience was excellent. The bathrooms are old, but it was expected.

Eco Lodge in Raja Ampat (Evelyn cheesman bungalow)

LorenaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We really enjoyed the stay at the Eco Lodge. Adecya was very welcoming and caring. I wanted to mention how flexible they were with a flight that changed so we could cancel one night at the last minute and get a full refund for this night without hesitation even if this is not included in the cancellation policy. The food they cook is amazing and they were very adaptive to my special needs (allergies and health conditions). We also had some last-minute ideas for trips, and they were always available, making everything possible (even last-minute meal prep for lunch on a day trip!) and we got fresh Aloe Vera from the garden for our sunburn. The bungalow is amazing the house reef is wonderful and everything is clean and well taken care of. Thank you very much for hosting us! We had a wonderful time! Termia Kasih

Eco Lodge in Raja Ampat (Both bungalows)

AlidaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This place is a gem in Raja Ampat. We loved the secluded bungalows set back in the foliage behind a private beach. As a family of four we took up both bungalows and loved sitting on the terraces enjoying the view and eating the delicious food, all lovingly prepared and presented. The staff were so friendly and attentive and would make delicious packed lunches to take with us if we were out for the day. The beds were so comfortable and the bathrooms clean and well appointed, even with hot water. We had such a wonderful end to our trip staying here and it was easy to get to from Waisai.

Eco Lodge in Raja Ampat (Alfred Wallace bungalow)

Wow—our stay at Eco Lodge in Raja Ampat was a 10/10. It’s breathtakingly beautiful, peaceful, and feels like a hidden paradise. The lodge, made of oak with French doors opening to a veranda overlooking the bay, is idyllic. Just steps away, vibrant coral reefs make it a dream for snorkelers and divers. Even as a light sleeper, I rested deeply thanks to comfy beds, a clean private bathroom, and the soothing silence of nature. The food was a highlight—fresh, local, and full of flavor. You can feel the love for sustainability in every detail, from meals to the warm, attentive staff. With just two lodges, it feels personal and intimate. The jetty, still being built, is already perfect for sunsets, and nearby dive sites are easy to reach by boat. Best of all, Jack and his wife are setting up a dive school—we know it’ll be amazing. A true oasis of calm and beauty. The perfect place to recharge, dive, and just be. We’ll be back.
