Oregon City Historic Guest House

AliciaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Thanks Sandy! We had a great time in Oregon City, the room is small but it was just what you need for a quick stay! We went to the Oregon Ren Faire so it was the perfect place to just sleep and get dressed. Only issue we had was the WiFi doesn’t work well since the guest house is a little distance from the router, but it was fine since we weren’t there long anyways but keep that in mind if you need internet to use your phone or do something on a laptop. Host was friendly and explained the situation with the WiFi and not being able to use a different internet company due to the house location, no worries at all! The bed was extremely comfy and was perfect after a long day of walking! Perfect location in the historic district, it was so pretty and so nice to walk around and see all the history of Oregon City! Close by to the municipal elevator and a yummy burger place just across the street! Thanks again Sandy for such a comfortable place to stay!

“Sucker Creek Inn” - with partial lake view

Chelsea’s house was well appointed, comfortable, and quiet. It worked great for staying a few days; the place was much bigger and more comfortable than staying in a hotel.

Oregon City Historic District Apartment

For a place to stay in Oregon City, Eddy's place is a great choice. You can walk to all of the museums, the historical houses, the fabulous restaurants and the downtown. It's clean, and stocked with plenty of kitchen gear, but only a few cooking necessities, like oil and spices. When we were there, there was instant coffee and creamer, and I left some tea bags for the next non-coffee drinker (we are NOT a myth!). The couch bed was quite comfy for just me, and I think it would be fine for a couple of kids, but I was glad not to be sharing it with my hubby. MOST of the time it's a peaceful, quiet spot. Then, every once in a while a train goes by - almost literally through the living room. They were few, didn't bother us, and didn't happen to go by too late at night or too early in the morning. But if occasional loud sounds could ruin your life, pick a different place. Otherwise, pick Eddy's! I want to have a reason to come back!

Cottage in the Country

I can't say enough about how much I LOVED my stay at Paul and Carol's cottage! It was truly a bit of heaven on a beautiful property, and although it's only a short drive to downtown Oregon City, it felt like I was miles away nestled amongst the trees and surrounded by nature everywhere I looked. From the welcome sign to the flowers from the garden and freshly laid eggs by the very friendly chickens in the fridge, Carol's beautiful artwork and Paul's custom made furniture - I was charmed from the moment I got there. The place was lovely and oh so comfortable, and it was very clear that my hosts had thought of everything I might need or want during my time there. I slept like a baby in the comfy bed , and enjoyed their fabulous organic coffee out on the porch every morning while taking in the scenery. The icing on the cake was getting to spend a little time with my wonderful hosts. I left feeling like I made new friends and I can't wait to go back. Thank you for such a beautiful time! ❤️

The "Lazy Daisy"

Great value for price, cute decorations, and super comfy bed!!! Be mindful that this listing is directly next to the highway, and there is the constant sound of traffic. Can get very hot on hot days too and there’s no AC - just a small fan. Overall good stay and I highly recommend!

Treetop Cabin

AnjelicaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Our stay at Jennifer's place was wonderful! The home is even more beautiful in person, and we really appreciated all the extra details and amenities that were thoughtfully included - it really made the place stick out from other Airbnb's I've stayed at in the past. The space, while technically connected to the hosts house, was very private with our own entrance, and sound was never an issue. We booked this for a group getaway to Portland, and could not be happier - would absolutely stay here again!
