This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Only a 5 minute walk down to the Strahan village and boat cruise terminals. 2 minute walk to the supermarket Wifi is connected. There is a tv on the deck, lounge room and all 3 bedrooms. Atleast 6 cars/trailers etc can be parked in the property *please note* The property looking out towards the water isn’t fenced off. If you have young kids then please make sure they don’t go passed the star pickets.

A cosy place to stay with all the amenities you need. Loved the selection of board games, books and enjoyed them in front of the roaring fire. We initially went on a bit of a hunt around town for a bag of firewood (you can get it at Green’s general store but not the IGAs)… however Matthew has a fully stocked wood shed out the back which was a nice surprise. Thanks for a very comfortable stay. 🙏

Nothing to add really to all the other rave reviews. Spectacular uninterrupted views across Macquarie Harbour. Floor to ceiling windows on both levels. Huge space, light, airy, clean, quiet. Aircon very effective for us staying in June. Only two minor gripes. Nice view from the spa but insufficient hot water to fill it more than half way up so just a big bathtub really. No blinds at all so very early morning wake-up unless you bring a sleep mask. But those views are worth it.

Stormsend is gorgeous! A lovely little cottage in a remote shack community with views of the wild west coast from the front windows and a short stroll to the beach. Beautifully decorated and, despite being "off grid" and Winter, the woodfire had the place cozy warm. As other guests have mentioned, Liz and Craig thoughtfully left snacks, house port, sourdough and some breakfast provisions. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.
