Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Wellington County

Thalia and Jesus made our stay very enjoyable not just for the two of us, but also our pup. Their space is very dog, friendly, including an outdoor fenced in area. They provided any extra pet necessities for dogs staying there. We came with our own gear, but our dog even enjoyed their dog bed at times!

Me and my family we stayed at Michael’s place for a wedding and our experience was wonderful. The house looks exactly like the pictures, big and spacious, clean and the location was great. Michael always answered all my questions very fast and was very nice also. I 100% recommend this place and I would stay here again! 10/10

We couldn't have been happier. The Cabin is the perfect getaway in Elora! The location couldn't be better and you have a sense of seclusion despite being steps from the shops and restaurants. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the front porch. The bed is super comfortable. We had everything we needed and more! Andrew is a gracious host.

A stay at Nouras is best described as a home away from home. Nouras has carefully decorated and prepared a beautiful private home for any individual, couple or small family of 3. it is truly a lovely environment with privacy and lots to enjoy.

We had a great time visiting Elora for a night while staying at this listing. My husband and I stayed overnight with our 8 month old and Yorkie dog and were more than comfortable. The location is very walkable so we were able to pop in and out of the airbnb throughout our stay. There are great little shops and restaurants very close by. The Airbnb was very quaint and peaceful. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

Nola House was perfect for our vacation in the Elora area. Rebecca provided everything we needed and offered varied and interesting ideas for things to do. We enjoyed everything she suggested. Elora and the surrounding towns are a special place full of beauty and history. We’re so happy we found this lovely place.

My parents and I stayed here for two nights. Rastin was very responsive and the place was awesome. My parents couldn’t stop playing the Pac-Man machine. We never heard the people living upstairs and there is a separate backyard where the entrance is which is nice. Overall, amazing experience! Highly recommend!

Had a great stay - the place is equipped with everything you’d need and we enjoyed watching a movie on the big tv! It was a suite in a home that was very clean. The neighbourhood was quiet and safe also. Had a great stay!

Nice neighborhood, close to amenities, the YMCA and walking trails. place was clean, comfortable, had everything I needed and more. Nice touches like a full Brita in the fridge, basket of popcorn and snacks, coupons for takeout. I really liked the mini office space. No places with bathtubs were available but the shower in the suite is excellent, with a nice hand held. Things that may be a deterrent for some are the full flight of stairs for lugging luggage up and down and the bed is very firm

A basic, but good stay. Sam's place provides everything needed for a comfortable night away, and his communication was above and beyond. Very quick, friendly responses. I do see what other reviewers mean when they say the space around the toilet is quite tight - The door almost touches your knees when sitting down - But for a short stay it wasn't a problem. My only suggestion would be to get some black out curtains for the bedroom, and maybe a curtain that could pull across to separate the bedroom from kitchen area to allow a darker space for sleeping when the morning sun comes out. Overall, my husband and I would happily stay again for a night away. Thanks, Sam!

I'd like to say that Nancy's place was exactly as pictured, but the pictures did not convey how roomy the space is! Everything you need is there, including some board games to pass the time. Anyone who provides board games for their guests is a kindred spirit of ours. We are so happy to have found this gem and hope that we can return someday. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Evelyn suite B. The suite is spotless and beautifully decorated with thoughtful amenities. We appreciated having kitchen basics such as tea, milk, sugar etc and the welcome snacks were an unexpected touch. The balcony of the Evelyn backs onto a peaceful road and it is a one minute walk to the quaint shops and restaurants of downtown Elora. We also enjoyed a delicious brunch at the Evelyn restaurant. Thank-you for your hospitality, we will definitely be returning.

Absolutely beautiful! My favourite part was the enclosed porch with the river view, so peaceful. Erin communicated very well through the check-in process and the added details of local attractions and restaurants was very appreciated. To top it off the place was spotless and still felt like home away from home. Highly recommend!

Spacious, very clean, and has all the amenities you need while you are away from home. The location is so quiet and relaxing. Donna and her husband Ernie created a beautiful little oasis attached to their home. Our Hostess were lovely. We highly recommend booking with them if you are looking in Fergus or Elora.

We had a wonderful stay at Nicole’s place! The interiors were beautifully done, and the balcony area was a perfect spot to relax. The home was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We arrived about an hour before the check-in time, and Nicole kindly allowed us to check in early, which we really appreciated. She was a great host—responsive and thoughtful. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kitchener!

This place was very convenient, clean, very well equipped with all you will need (cleaning supplies, shower necessities, all kitchen supplies etc). My only issue was that the pictures show two beds (the description says a double and a single). In fact, they are the same bed with different bedding. There is a love seat that turns into a bed. I had no issues sleeping on it, but if you are picky or tall you might not be able to enjoy it. I did request and additional bed (it was there when I arrived) but it was more like a camping folding cot with a very thin foam. We didn't use it, not comfortable. There are a lot of lock boxes at the building entrance, make sure you ask the host to inform you which is the correct one, so you don't spend a long time looking for the correct one. Additionally, the description also says there is premises parking and street parking. There is only street parking and at times it takes a while to find a spot. A great place and would stay again.

Susan’s place is lovely. Stylish, clean and I loved the architecture and decor. My sister and I were visiting the area and wanted a place that was right in town. Susan’s place was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked and we loved eating at the dining table by the window. The natural light was so nice. Actually the whole place has amazing natural light. After our day trips we would come back and sit on the back deck. I loved the big green maple that provided cool shade and dappled light. After dinner we would hang out in the beautiful living room and pick a movie from Netflix and just relax. The neighbourhood is very walkable. Just a short block away is the river walk with a pretty garden and views of the river. Loved the coffee and tea at The Vault Coffee Bar. I read the reviews beforehand so wondered about being on a main street but the day traffic was mostly white noise during the day and traffic died down during the night so didn’t bother me at all. We really enjoyed our stay.

I appreciated having a few things in the kitchen that I could use on the first night until I got to the grocery store. Central Fresh Market is a walking distance from the condo for individuals that enjoy some home cooking while on vacation. The pool and bowling area was a great hit for those rainy days. Emma came to our rescue after our original booking fell through. She got us right away after a very long trip. She was kind and also gave us discount which was a plus. Our 6weeks stay in KW area was great. She was extremely quick to respond to all our questions. I will definitely stay in Emma's place again. Very clean condo and quiet neighborhood.
