Bungalow holiday rentals in Weligama Bay

We really enjoyed our stay a lot. This is an amazing place to relax and spend some calm time directly on the beach. Cabins are super nice with a big bathroom. We especially loved the food - it’s very delicious, in particular the curry. Would recommend everyone to spend some time here, it’s a little paradise with lots of privacy.

the best stay in Sri Lanka. if you want to feel the nature and power of the ocean you have to live here for a few days. the sound of the ocean was fantastic, the house was clean and equipped. the hosts were very nice and helpful, they even did the laundry! definitely 10/10

Die Unterkunft liegt inmitten eines Wohngebietes am Fluss. Nebenan wird wohl demnächst ein Hotel gebaut, dort ist eine Baustelle. Der Garten ist besonders schön und von außen nicht einsehbar. Man konnte viele wilde Tiere beobachten und hat einen tollen Blick auf den Fluss. Das Haus und die Ausstattung sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es war sauber. Indika war sehr gut erreichbar und auch der Hausmeister stand für Fragen und Hilfe jederzeit zur Verfügung. Wir befürchteten, dass wegen der Nähe zum Fluss viele Mücken geben würde, aber es war nicht mehr als an anderen warmen Orten. Wir hatten warmes Wasser und WiFi. Zum Essen haben wir uns den Tisch auf die Terrasse unter den Ventilator gestellt, das war wirklich schön. Die Betten waren leider nur 180cm lang, dadurch konnte mein 198cm großer Mann nicht so gut schlafen. Jedes Zimmer hatte einen Deckenventilator und es gab zusätzliche Ventilatoren zum Aufstellen. Auch Mücken Netze waren in jedem Zimmer vorhanden.

Great stay and great place. We ended up extending our stay. It was value for the price paid.

Dom znajduje się w cichej okolicy niedaleko pobliskiej plaży. Jest bardzo duży z kilkoma sypialniami. Na zewnątrz znajduje się spory ogród gdzie można odpocząć lub coś zjeść. Gospodarz który nas powitał był bardzo miły i w wielu kwestiach pomógł nam w organizacji naszych wycieczek. Udzielił kilku cennych wskazówek które bardzo nam się przydały, bardzo dziękujemy. Dom choć duży wymaga pewnych drobnych poprawek. Nie wszędzie było czysto a kuchnia nienajlepiej utrzymana (resztki jedzenia w lodówce i na zewnątrz). Ogólnie Dom byl bardzo przestronny i miał wszystko czego potrzebowaliśmy choć szkoda że jest lekko zaniedbany.

Un soggiorno davvero indimenticabile! La villa è un angolo di paradiso: una piscina spettacolare immersa in un giardino curatissimo e rigoglioso, perfetti per rilassarsi in totale tranquillità. Gli spazi sono ampi, pulitissimi e ben tenuti, con un bagno comodo e raffinato dotato di due docce e due lavandini. Lo staff è stato impeccabile, e un ringraziamento speciale va al ragazzo più giovane: estremamente gentile, efficiente e anche un cuoco sorprendente! Ogni pasto è stato delizioso, ci siamo sentiti davvero come a casa, con il lusso di uno chef privato. Un posto in cui tornare senza pensarci due volte. Non volevamo nemmeno uscire per andare in spiaggia 😋

Our first trip to Sri Lanka was made amazing by staying at the Blue Peacock beach house. It exceeded our expectations. We have traveled to almost every country in South Asia and we have rarely felt as relaxed as we did in the Blue Peacock. The cook did well arranging a big seafood feast, Mahinda was very helpful with touring the area and assisting with any issues, and the housekeeper kept everything nice and clean. Please don't book this place (JUST KIDDING)...We want it available for ourselves ;) Looking forward to staying here again.

Everything was great, Nalinda was constantly in touch with us and available for any request. The house itself is simply perfect, plenty of space and really direct access to the sea, definitely the house to book if you want to spend some days in Hikkaduwa! thanks for everything

Paradise in the jungle 🥰 Cocoste is unbelievable amazing! We absolutely loved it. The house is has so much space. There are air conditioners, mosquito nets and fans everywhere. Lounges, tables, lots of toys for kids of all ages and adults. Kitchen is equipped with everything you can think of: smoothie mixer, mocca coffee machine, lots of cutlery, plates, bowels, toaster, kettle,…. It’s truly someone’s home and not only an Airbnb place. pool was fantastic to cool down and warm enough to stay inside, the yoga and massage room amazing. We had lots of massages. The location is rural which makes it so calm and enjoyable. We rented a scooter to get around as you will need tuktuk or car drivers to get to places. Weligama has beautiful beaches to surf, dive, snorkel, whale and turtles watching. And eating amazing food. Ajith and Kumari are friendly and welcoming. we often ordered food from them or ate at their small restaurant. They did our laundry and helped organising everything! Wonderful

afrer an unexpected road, you arrive in heaven on earth. beautiful nature and quite surroundings make you enjoy even more the fantastic place. dinner was good and the free fresh juices and of course the coconut balls topped the experience.

A wonderful villa. Great host, very responsive and always ready to help. Very beautiful surroundings, quiet, calm. At first it was difficult to find the exact location, but we contacted the owner and he told us everything about how to get there. Next time we come to Sri Lanka, we will definitely consider this comfortable option.

In walking distance from the beach yet you feel as if you are in the Jungle! Monkeys and amazing bird life in the trees you are surrounded by nature. Gehans family showed us the local trees and plants we helped pick coconuts then they cut them so we could drink the juice. The villa is comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Lovely quiet house nicely tucked away from the roads. The garden is full of wildlife - bats flying over head, langurs, mongoose and so many birds - it’s pretty special. The internet is quick, the kitchen well equipped and the beds comfy. Chandrika and Udyani were super accommodating. when we had a medical emergency they were incredibly quick to help which was so nice of them. If you want a relaxing, cosy spot near some of Sri Lanka’s best surf - this house is a great decision.

A great place where a family can relax and enjoy. Very helpful staff and the chef can cook great dishes. Highly recommend the place worth every penny

My stay was short, but I really enjoyed the place. Although it’s a bit far from the beach, it was peaceful with no disturbances. The host, Tharaka, was very kind and shared all the necessary information while helping me a lot. I definitely recommend this place

Vi stannade fem nätter med våran son på 1,5 år. Vi tillbringade mycket tid på boendet och de som jobbade där var otroligt gulliga och hjälpsamma med allt vi undrade över. Vi beställde en del uber eats vilket var väldigt smidigt med barn. Men man kunde också enkelt promenera till stranden eller ta en tuktuk till andra närliggande ställen. Vi kan varmt rekommendera det här boendet. /Linn
