The Old Chilli House apartment is an amazing and well designed place. From the moment that I stepped inside, I already felt at home. Everything is beautifully arranged, super clean and attention has been put to detail. Enough space is also given, the apartment even has a walk in closet. I absolutely loved the balcony and the whole vibe of the apartment. It is away from the hustle and bustle. On top, Kris and his family are perfect hosts, and the breakfast was great. Kris is a super friendly, funny and energetic guy, that really cares about his guests! Highly recommended place 😀!

Ich habe in dieser Wohnung 5 Wochen während meines Krankenhaus-Praktikums gewohnt und bin sehr zufrieden mit der Lage, Sauberkeit und dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gewesen. Chandra und ihr Mann sind gastfreundliche, ruhige Vermieter, die jederzeit gut zu erreichen waren. Ich habe mich hier sehr sicher gefühlt. Diese Wohnung eignet sich für kurze und lange Aufenthalte in Galle. Mit dem Bus sind das Stadtzentrum und Unawatuna schnell zu erreichen und für das Krankenhaus in Karapitiya habe ich jeden Tag ein Tuktuk für umgerechnet 1,50€ genommen. Der nächste Strand ist zu Fuß in 5 min zu erreichen und perfekt zum schwimmen und für Surfanfänger geeignet. Ich würde wieder kommen.

Замечательное просторное жилье со свежим ремонтом и завораживающим видом на океан. Очень просто связаться с хозяином и персоналом. Много заведений вокруг, 1 минута до океана. Есть минимальный набор моющих средств - гели для душа и шампуни. Достаточно чисто, но на кухне немного начинает проявляться затхлость. Для данного сезона может выглядеть немного дороговато и хочется ожидать больше мелочей при такой ценовой категории, - тапочки, халаты, зубные щетки, больше полотенец, бреющие принадлежности, но это, скорее уже точки для улучшения, все-таки это аппартаменты, а не отель. 11/10 :)

We had a great stay here. Every time we come to Galle this is where we will stay. We not only enjoy this host we have stayed with this host multiple times and we have only positive things to say. We look forward every time to checking in that we arrive and have a wonderful time. We cannot stress enough how beautiful the property is and how responsive the hosts are to provide anything for the guests.

Ens vam allotjar quatre dies a l’apartament i va ser meravellós. Per començar, en Valentine ens va oferir llogar una moto per un preu molt assequible, i quan vam arribar, ja la teníem disponible. La comunicació, perfecta. Ha estat molt amable i atent a qualsevol petició. L’allotjament, molt net i cuidat. Tot i no estar a primera línia, estava molt ben ubicat. És exactament com a les fotografies! Definitivament, molt recomanable.

A perfect getaway! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful Airbnb for three days and two nights, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The place was impeccably clean, quiet, and offered the perfect amount of privacy for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was the well-equipped kitchen, which allowed us to cook our own meals with ease. It was great to have the option to prepare food and enjoy it in such a cozy setting. The Wi-Fi was reliable, keeping us connected throughout our stay. The location is fantastic, with amazing beaches, restaurants, and bars. It’s the ideal spot for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the local scene. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. You won’t be disappointed!

Very good apartment, everything looked like the photos. You will have access to a big kitchen with fridge and enough things to cook normal food, a room with a table + chair, good for working on computer, a bedroom with big bed, wardrobe big enough for 2 weeks, chairs, and a bathroom with shower with hot water, toilets and sink, and 2 small balconies. Place is quiet, you are far from trafic and nightlife, you can hear animals, especially peacocks who can be strongly noisy in early morning, and hear a mosque with pray in early morning too, but this one is kind of far. They are buildings under construction around the apartment, there was not renovation when I was, but it can be. Host is really nice, everything was smooth and confortable, amazing place to stay. To notice: - even if you can go to center by walking, I strongly advice to have a scooter - water pressure and wifi are not strong, as many places in Sri Lanka - they are dogs in the garden, very friendly

Amazing experience. The owner and his family were very clear and proactive in their communication. The room felt luxurious, with plenty of natural light and a majestic tall ceiling. Everything was very clean, and the mattress was new and spotless. The AC worked perfectly, and the Wi-Fi was the fastest I had during my month of traveling across Sri Lanka (70 Mb/s!!!). Highly recommended!

We had a nice stay here. The apartment is clean and modern. Good value for the price paid. There’s a hot plate and fridge as well as a few cooking utensils. The WiFi was not the strongest and wouldn’t be able to support video calls if you need that for work. We couldn’t stream shows on the wifi but it’s fine for basic email checking. The biggest surprise regarding this stay was that the address listed is not the actual address where you’ll be staying. When we arrived at the listed address, we were put in a tuktuk and taken to the actual location. However, from the apartment it’s only about a 10 min walk to restaurants, 20 min walk to the grocery store and 15 min walk to the beach. The location is in a quiet neighborhood amongst the rice fields with friendly neighbors. The hosts came to check on us quite often. Overall, would recommend this stay to others.

I had a really lovely stay here. It’s tucked away from the busy street but also close enough to walk there. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The room has everything you need. The host was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend :)

I cannot say anything bad about Hanuman Place's. I spent three weeks there and it was fantastic. I loved that the location is very local and the surroundings are beautiful and they have six dogs. :) From beginning until the end it was true Sri Lankan hospitality. I felt welcome from the first minute and did not want to leave. For sure I will be back for another visit! Also, if you get the chance to try the food they prepare, do it! It is the best food I've tried in Sri Lanka!

This was our first trip to Sri Lanka, and it was truly unforgettable! Nipuni was an incredibly kind and friendly host. She was always quick to reply and shared helpful recommendations. We were lucky to have a wonderful family dinner with Nipuni and her mom , they you cooked an amazing local dishes for us, and we had such a great time together. OMG we love her crepes!!! It was by far the best stay we’ve had in Sri Lanka — a whole floor of the house with a private entrance and terrace, clean and cozy rooms with air conditioning (a rare find in Sri Lanka ), comfy beds, a great kitchen, and a perfect quiet location away from the road noise. I highly recommend staying here, and I would love to come back again!

Muditha всегда был на связи как и его сын Мани, любые вопросы решались быстро и легко, с ними очень приятно и весело общаться . Muditha помог нам с организацией путешествия вглубь острова и посоветовал отличного гида. Во дворе очень красиво, все соседи приветливые и дружелюбные, рядом несколько ресторанов, которые нам очень полюбились. В доме очень комфортно, кондиционер всегда работал, окна со всех сторон и личный балкончик создали впечталение личного пентхауса, очень надеюсь еще вернуться сюда

一个大庄园，环境非常别致优美，里面有椰林，芒果树，杨桃树……地段也非常棒，紧邻海边，服务非常热情，宾至如归，也非常个性化，因为去观鲸回来晚了，多给我们一间房子延迟退房。可惜在酒店呆的时间还不够多，没有足够时间享受这么美好的环境。非常推荐。

Nice apartment located 20 min from the surfing beach. top location. Quiet (no sounds from the street). The hosts were super nice and let me do late check out for free. Only the cleaning standards should be improved. All in all I recommend it!

Patrick is a great host who will help you with everything. He arranged a transfer for us to a villa, chose the best room for our needs and help with every query we had. He's always around when you need him and respects your privacy at the same time. The place is amazing for digital nomads (or people who would like to come here just to rest). Great wi-fi speed on every floor and at every place. We didn't need to be afraid of power cuts because of the generator which worked perfectly. The villa has an amazing view of the lake with a lot of palm trees with monkeys just next to you. Very nice pool which you can use 24/7 with fancy lights when it's dark. You can order tasty food at a very good price, which will be delivered to your laptop or to a place where you're chilling. Very good coffee (important especially for developers). The villa is away from the main road but at the same time just a 5-10 min bike/tuk-tuk ride from the market/wine store/atm. You would have 10 min walk to a beautiful beach where you can buy coconuts or pineapples. Surf rental is just a few steps from there. People here are friendly and helpful. Sunil (who helps Patrick) can arrange a bike rental or anything you would need. Just come to experience it!

I with my friends stayed here and we really enjoyed our time there! The place is lovely and 100% matches photo, Location is also very good - there're beach, cafes and big grocery store are in 15-minute walk. Kelani and Shantha were very welcoming and supportive in everything! Highly recommend this place, would love to revisit it!

Guten Tag, tolle, sauber Unterkunft, klasse Badezimmer, super Dusche, Kühlschrank gibt es auch - Strand mit den ganzen Surfschulen direkt über die Straße, gute Restaurants direkt um die Ecke - Gastgeber und seine Familie sehr freundlich, kann Unterkunft empfehlen
