Cabin holiday rentals in Wayne County

We stayed here about 3 years ago, for a girls trip. The updates to the cabin were so beautiful, the upstairs was a great addition, and everything was done so tastefully! This time we stayed for my daughter's 16th b-day girls trip, it was perfect. The kiddo were never boarded, even with rain!! It was perfect, cozy, clean, and beautiful! Matthew was very responsive and helpful with everything and anything. We look forward to staying here again for sure!! Thank you for making my daughter's b-day a success!

Had an amazing Memorial Day weekend with friends at Daniel’s property. It had everything we needed. The house is beautiful and charming, the surroundings are peaceful. We loved using the firepit and the hot tub. The grill made the MDW burgers and hot dogs meal a hit. We spent one evening cozy watching a movie. Daniel was helpful and responsive all the time. Typically received a response within 15 minutes. All my friends were incredibly happy with the choice of place for our weekend.

We had a great time visiting. There were lots to see and do in the area. we loved the coffee, tea, and wine setup in the cabin. We enjoyed playing the jumbo Jenga game that Aaron had there. The bed was super soft to lay in. We loved the firepit pit and the outdoor movie setup in the back yard. We didn't stay in the yard alot because the ants were bad back there but it didn't ruin our fun we had staying there. We saw alot of wildlife and we loved sitting on the front porch . The house was perfectly described in the listing. We truly enjoyed the lake views, using the fire pit outside and the sun room. There was enough space for our family (6 adults and 3 kids under 6). The sleds were a great surprise to have and there was a small hit on the side of the house. Jennifer was extremely responsive. There were books provided to explain how to work everything within the home and everything was noted and explained so easily. Check out was very easy as well. We can’t wait until summer time to stay again!

Our stay at Justin’s Sterling Acres cabin was everything we expected and more! We were looking for a place that was peaceful to get away for a week after a very busy holiday season. Justin was extremely communicative and helpful the entire stay. The views from every window were gorgeous, and the interior was very homey. Look forward to booking again with Justin in the future!

A very beautiful house, very private and with a nice living space. The kitchen and living areas were very clean. While about a 45 min drive from East Stroudsburg, it was a nice stay for a getaway.

Marie was the best host! She was always so attentive, responsive, friendly, and helpful! Her house was to die for, it was so relaxing to be there because of all the amenities. I would certainly come back to this specific location!

I had a beautiful stay. My booking was very last minute and the host responded right away and confirmed it so I was able to enter the house two hours after I booked it! The house was very clean and in such a peaceful spot at the end of the road. I was so happy that the host accommodated my dogs, I usually get nervous about that with bookings. The host was very responsive to all of my messages and I really appreciated that. I would definitely book with them again!

We really enjoyed our stay! We were looking for a getaway from New York City, and this place was perfect. It was quaint, charming, nicely decorated, and well prepared for us – there was a guestbook full of ideas with things to do, firewood stacked up nicely for the fire, and even a bottle of wine and a bar of chocolate waiting upon arrival. The host was extremely responsive and answered all of my questions in advance, giving recommendations for things to do nearby. I stayed there with my two boys, and we ended up going horseback riding, played basketball, went to a nearby family, fun park for go carts, mini golf, laser, tag, etc. There was also a record player, with records, which was really interesting. if you want to play tennis or Pickleball, you need to make a reservation in advance. Overall, it was an amazing and fun trip.

Great cabin. Space is very comfortable. Amenities in the cabin were good. The cabin is secluded though with about a 20-25min drive to town. If winter weather is in the forecast, make sure you have a all-wheel or 4-wheel drive car - lots of hilly areas.

We had a wonderful stay! Joseph and Dawn are great hosts; they are very responsive and friendly. The cabin was cozy indeed, but had everything we could need. Our whole family, including our dog, spent most of our time by Dawn’s Landing and adored it :)

Great getaway place. Very clean! Fully stocked with kitchen, bath supplies. Good info on things to do in the area! Quiet and peaceful.

The kids could not believe this place is so close to Scranton. The private lake was serene. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and laid-back. The view was picturesque. The rough roads insure low-speed driving, and therefore are relatively safe for free-range children. Close to plenty of outdoor activities, but the cabin was so nice, we barely left the dock. Best thing, our teenagers mostly stayed off their phones, and played with their younger siblings.

Kathleen is a great host and very easy to communicate with. My husband forgot an irreplaceable watch and Kathleen was kind enough to mail to me. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

We had a peaceful and relaxing weekend at El Bosque, hosted by Julia and Catherine. The house was cozy and had everything we needed. We spent time by the fireplace, made s’mores at the bonfire, hiked at Gouldsboro State Park, and even enjoyed a BBQ and the porch swing. The hosts were responsive and helpful, usually replying within 30–50 minutes, and assisted us with all questions and concerns. Overall, a lovely spring break getaway—we’d definitely recommend it!

What a great stay! Appreciated all the toiletries, little things like pantry items, ground coffee, shampoo/conditioner/soap, etc. Played some slap cup on the porch hopefully before 10pm, and did our best to tidy, clean the grill, all the things. Would recommend! By the way: the dock is across the street down that gravel path alongside the house that has 4 decks (house itself is not right on the water, but close enough).

Ryan has a really beautiful cabin right on a lake. It was even nicer than the pictures and was absolutely spotless. Although it is in a remote location, Ryan gave very clear instructions and our stay was flawless. I appreciated that Ryan reached out before approving the rental to inform us of snow on the entrance road and to make sure that we had 4 wheel drive vehicles. He was extremely responsive and reached out numerous times during our stay to make sure everything was o.k. We used the cabin for a ski weekend and it was about a 30 minute scenic drive to Elk Mountain. One caveat is there are not many restaurants nearby so you may want to bring food.

I loved staying at Kenneth’s place with five of my friends. The house was spotless and very comfortable. It was easy to find amenities like extra blankets and toilet paper. We also really enjoyed walking along the Lake Wally trail, which was a few minutes drive away. Would love to visit again!

This place was perfect to get some peaceful rest from the noise in NJ. We loved how each bedroom was on a Different floor . Everything we needed to cook meals were in the house. The Pac-Man and board games were great. They even had a basketball and tennis rackets. The smart TVs were easy to use. They had a Welcome basket with s’mores, hot cocoas and wine. The hosts were super responsive. The binder had everything you needed to know about the home and surrounding areas. And we really enjoyed the flexible check in and check out. We would definitely recommend to anyone.

Stephanie was incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating—from a warm welcome to a generous late checkout. You can really tell how much care goes into making guests feel at home. This is our 4th time at Amanda’s house and it truly is our home away from home! She is very responsive with anything we need and the house is so beautiful. The view is amazing !!! Cannot wait until next year to come back

The house is wonderful - clean, cozy, and well-furnished. The beautiful fireplace and deep selection of blankets were perfect for keeping out the cold and windy weather. The kitchen was very well-furnished, so it was pleasant to cook most of our meals there. Sabrina was also an outstanding host. The power went out twice because of severe winds bringing down power lines, and she was very responsive and proactive in helping to get the power back. Highly recommend.

We had a great weekend at Dominick’s cabin! It was the perfect place to stay for our trip. The location was great, right by the lake and close driving distance to all of the activities we wanted to do. Very comfortable space, loved the cabin feel!

All pictures of the cabin were very accurate. Everything was very neat and clean. Location to PLSP was excellent.All instructions were clear. Erin kept in touch with me numerous times with updates and answering my questions.The price was very reasonable as well. I would definitely like to go back someday. Erin was a wonderful host!! I would highly recommend this delightful cabin in the woods!
