Awesome place to stay minutes from downtown! Sam’s place is super quiet and cozy. I felt right at home and the neighborhood was incredible. It was far away enough from downtown to feel peaceful but close enough to be convenient when needing to get downtown. Everything was so clean and perfect!

Nice and cozy place, very peaceful, and easy to access. Used it for an overnight stay for a concert and was very pleased! Ky had great response time as well!

This place was very clean, comfortable and we felt safe. Everything me and my family needed was there. From the kitchen utensils to the blow dryer. I loved that. The area was peaceful and quiet. We were able to sit on the porch and enjoy the weather. Definitely recommend and will stay again!!!

Even though the house is very close to the Detroit airport, we didn't notice any air traffic unless we were outside. It was great to see robins and chipmunks in the yard. Our kids really enjoyed the basement equipped with a TV and an air hockey game.

it's very clean comfortable safe and secure home all the amenities of home. Prompt response time to any questions very friendly and helpful host . Love the fresh flower on the table. Well definitely be booking again.

David is an exceptional host. The place was clean and had everything we needed. He really made us feel as if we were renting from a family member. He opened up his home and allowed us to use whatever we needed. The backyard was great for our dog. David responded to any questions we had within 5 minutes even offering us a late checkout if we needed one. I would highly recommend staying at David’s place.

This was one of my favorite Airbnb stays! Bill and Rick were amazing hosts and so friendly! The house was perfect and the yard was even better! Great place for a 2 night stay with my husband and our 2 dogs. We will definitely stay again!

The Wolfe's were a fantastic host! The house was clean and what we expected. Being a guest that involved a party of 4 adults, we found that there weren't quite enough seats. This wasn't a huge problem for us as we were visiting for a wedding, so this was really just a place we rested our heads. But a heads up to other potential guests that have 2 adult couples. I think it may be better suited for a couple or a couple with 1 child. We also really enjoyed the Nespresso machine and ease to get to everything. The back yard would have been a nice area to relax in if we had the time. I think our absolute favorite part of our stay were the easy check-out instructions! It was refreshing to feel a little more relaxed as we left.

What an excellent stay at the Phunky Pheasant! It was so close to the action. Just a close walk to Michigan Ave, and then a bit further Michigan Central and the rest of Corktown. Everything else was a super close drive / Uber. Allison & Anthony were the most gracious hosts, continually checking in to ensure our needs were met. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at more well appointed, thoughtfully curated airbnb. This one is a keeper, folks!

This place was incredibly adorable, decorated perfectly and also in an incredible neighborhood. This is a place I will bookmark for all my future stays in Detroit. Also, who doesn’t love a coach house? It has all the flavor of historic Detroit, but is also located really close to great coffee, shops, restaurants, and other things to do. We will be back soon..

We enjoyed our stay at this place. It was well-located and within easy walking distance to lots of restaurants and the waterfront. We also had no trouble finding free parking on the street very close to the apartment. The building is old and the stairs are pretty steep up to the apartment, but we had no issues. The apartment was clean and comfortable and well-stocked. It got pretty loud in the neighborhood at night, so be sure to bring earplugs. Ronald and Zoe were very responsive to our messages.

Monique’s place was centrally located in downtown. Walkable to baseball, restaurants, the water to look over Canada. The bedroom was very quiet at night which was key as you were on a very busy street on Washington Boulevard. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The beds were amazingly comfortable. It was so nice to have our own bathroom. Great place for a couples getaway. This location is on the third floor so be ready and able to up a few flights. So close to downtown, would recommend.

We had a great stay! For folks who prefer a firm mattress, this is a good choice. The area was walkable and a few blocks to the Qline shuttle making a trek to downtown easy.

Quick in and out trip to Detroit and the place was great for the short time we stayed. Bree and Kevin were super responsive and kind. Great Hosts! Got to meet their son too, who is adorable.

House was just as described. Neighborhood was cute, quiet and safe. We didn't use the backyard or laundry area as we spent most of our time away from the house. We couldn't hear the guests upstairs. We did have a hard time with the TV and I wish it was a king size bed but I know it wouldn't fit in that room. I did not use the other room. We enjoyed sitting on the front enclosed porch in the morning while drinking coffee. Although it was provided, I brought my own coffee and cream. I would definitely stay here again.

Frances was a great host. She kept the place spotless for us and had no problem with our late check in. She was quick to respond and very friendly. Would stay there again if I was back in the area.

I think that Mark is a great host. He was able to help in a time of dire need. Very responsive with clear instructions would definitely recommend. Home nice and clean very nicely furnished felt just like home.

I booked this stay last minute and couldn’t have been happier. Jeff was extremely accommodating—allowing me to check in early and making everything easy. The space was spotless, well-equipped, and in an excellent Midtown Detroit location. Highly recommend!

In a moment of reflection it’s difficult to bestow an across-the-board Five Stars rating on the property without acknowledging the contributions of the host Sean. The first-class amenities of this property are already well documented and are unmatched – location, cleanliness, roominess and value. Sean’s enthusiastic representation of his property is contagious. His efforts to prepare us for our stay left us wanting nothing. As our booking drew closer we found ourselves using words like “excited” … we became increasingly aware of the slow passing of time ;) Sean’s attentiveness continued during our stay. The effort he has made to brand this property is second-to-none. An homage to Detroit / Motown ... the keen-eyed among you will be delighted with the Easter eggs (hint: scrabble). Stay here. Walk, eat, cheer, dance, relax, slumber ... Repeat.

Perfect place to stay with our family for the Island cup soccer tournament. Easily made it to and from soccer complex. Much more comfortable than a hotel room and plenty of space for us. Bonus that the boys were able to go fishing when they had time between games. you can see how much love and work they have put into this building. we absolutely appreciated the history of it and keeping that historic vibe while updating key features. Thanks for the superb hospitality!

The place was clean and easy to find with a good amount of towels and pillows. Loved that it was near a coffee and brunch spot within walking distance and the quiet neighborhood.
