House holiday rentals in Watford

Ann’s house was exactly what we were looking for and we had a wonderful stay and felt very much at home. Everything was easy to find and use and the house had all the amenities we needed for a family of 5. The neighborhood was lovely and we loved walking around.

We were pleased to find accommodation available where we could all stay and have a bed, have our second Christmas Day and generally be together with lots of space. Having the pool to enjoy was a particular bonus as most of us enjoy the water.

We had a fabulous week in this beautiful home. The house is perfect, we couldn’t have wished for better. The garden was like an oasis, so quiet, it was hard to believe we were in London. We would sit outside for a morning coffee before meeting our little granddaughter for the day, then recharge our batteries in the evening, with a beer in the garden. The garden is beautiful. We loved having coffee and brunch at flotsam and Jetsam at Dulwich Picture Gallery, about a thirty minute stroll from the rental. For us, the location was perfect, the house was perfect and we would definitely like to stay there again. Bonus points for the quality towels and parking on the property. Loved every minute of our stay.

We had a lovely time at Sarah's place. It's as the photos suggest and is in a very peaceful surrounding. The barn is next to Sarah's family home, but the way it is oriented means you get plenty of privacy. Thank you for letting us in to your home. We all had a lovely quality time with friends.

Our stay was exceptionally great. The train station is close which made our movements easy. The place was very clean. There was easy access to food and groceries. Chioma was very helpful and accommodating. We were able to check in earlier than the scheduled time and leave just as easy. Overall the experience was great and I highly recommend.

We had an amazing break in this property, a truly beautiful house with lots of design inspirations we will be taking home. Kristie was a very friendly and approachable host and clearly has an eye for detail as the pool house was a beautiful property which was a real home form home. The location was lovely too, lots to do in the area and the atmosphere of this part of the Thames we really enjoyed including hiring a boat for the afternoon for a leisurely self drive cruise up the River...the perfect day out!

This is our second stay at Four Winds and it definitely won't be our last! Everything here is perfect - the lovely annexe itself is spacious, extremely well equipped, gorgeous bed linens and fluffy towels. Just like the last time we stayed here, it's the additional activities and surrounding space that really elevate this place. The games room and the swimming pool are absolutely amazing, as is the grounds, and the woodland walks straight from the front door. Communication was excellent throughout. Thank you so much - we'll be back!

This was a wonderful stay! The room does get a little toasty but over all this place is amazing and we would definitely stay here again!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience, everything worked smoothly, and there were no issues at all. The space was immaculate and welcoming, just as described, and we loved how comfortable and thoughtfully prepared everything was. Communication with the host was great, with quick responses and clear instructions. You can even message the lovely owner personally who accommodated a late check out for us. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay. The location couldn’t have been better, close to key tring (5 min drive) yet delightfully peaceful for a relaxing getaway. From the cleanliness to the seamless check-in, every detail was spot on. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a perfect, hassle-free stay in Hastoe. We’d love to come back!

The area was cosy, super easy to get around. Everything you needed was within a short walk. If you’re flying in from Gatwick the train goes from the airport right to the BnB which was amazing for arriving and leaving.

Stayed here while working in the area. The house is massive for the cost. Would recommend

St Albans always has such a lot to do and a fabulous community. Leos place is right in the heart of the City centre and everything is walkable, yet on a quiet back street. No problem dropping off our bags, despite the residents only parking permits. No problem finding a parking space for 10 minutes, even half an hour. We avoided the close by multi storey expensive car parking and opted to use my Just Park app, that I have used all over the UK. Booked great parking on Latimer street, approx 9 minutes walk from Spencer street, for £17 , and left the car for the whole weekend. Leos place is modern and a little quirky, surprisingly for an older property. Great fun place to hang out with good sized bedrooms and comfy beds. St Albans has loads of great pubs, and we were visiting my daughter for fathers day and enjoyed the annual folk festival. The cathedral and the Park are all within 5-10 minutes walk and the shops , bars etc 2-3 minutes walk!

A lovely Airbnb with great amenities and in such a good location! Myself and 3 others stayed here to make a weekend of watching a football match at Wembley, and this place is so well located and just a short walk away from the overground line (with direct trains to Wembley Central and London Euston!). The Airbnb was spacious and well stocked, all in all a lovely stay! Thank you!

A truly wonderful stay! Ollie was super helpful during our entire stay, making sure to check up on us and advise us on nearby things to do and places to eat. The house was exactly what we needed after a long drive! It was the perfect stay for our long anticipated trip to the Harry Potter Studios! Ollie even made sure to accommodate us when we turned up a little early, thank you for that :) We will 100% be staying again when we are next in Watford!

Me and my family had a wonderful 3 weeks stay. The place is near town center where you can do your grocery and shopping. The accommodation is clean and spotless. Dean is helpful and responsive that even near midnight he came to sort out one minor issue. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed for over 2 months while working on a project - my husband, 15 month old baby and I. The house had everything needed for such a comfortable and homey stay. Bhavisha provided us with a cot and stairgate and was always so quick to respond if we had any questions or needs at any time of day which was appreciated. She and her husband are very kind, friendly and helpful. I would recommend this house for a holiday stay in beautiful St Albans, for long terms stays with family or for work trips. It comfortably sleeps 7 in 4 bedrooms (though I wouldn't recommend the top floor bedrooms for elderly or young children as it's a very steep stair). There can be a bitnof traffic noise in the front bedrooms (I think we were just a little unlucky with construction going on opposite) but the back bedrooms are very quiet. Walking distance to everything in St Albans and a safe street. We hope to return on our next project!

This is our third stay, as we won’t stay anywhere else! Beautiful roomy immaculately presented house in impeccable stunning grounds. Stephanie is the most conscientious and considerate host who goes above and beyond. The proximity to central London and ease of driving there is a mere 25 minutes to Baker Street. By far, all round, the best Airbnb we have stayed in.

Peaceful and well-located – just a 30-minute train ride to central London. Hemel Hempstead offers the charm of a quiet, beautiful town with the city within easy reach.

Easily a five star stay at Levin’s place in Dalston. Levin was responsive and kind and the place was exactly as photographed. A short walk to both Dalston Junction and Dalston Kingsland stations with lots to explore in the neighbourhood. The unit was clean and well equipped with lots of natural sunlight. Had a lovely and comfortable stay and would recommend Levin’s place.

Abbey Mill Lodge and the surroundings are beautiful and the location is great - a short walk from Verulamium Park, the city centre and the cathedral. The inside is bright and modern whilst maintaining the historic charm of the mill. We enjoyed the sound of the river flowing through the garden. The design of the property is quirky and makes good use of the space, however it’s useful to know that are a lot of stairs/steps and an open plan upstairs living room so not ideal for a baby on the move, but we made it work. Grace is a great host! Very responsive and proactive in her communication, and she popped over to say hi which was nice. We’d happily have stayed longer and recommend Abbey Mill Lodge to other guests!

This house really became our home away for home for the duration of our trip. As soon as we got there it really felt warm and cozy and just...alive. Today a lot of AirBnBs are tailored to fit an average expectation and they tend up to be very impersonal. This the exact opposite. From the lovely plants everywhere, the funny notes left by Melanie in key areas, the art, the books... you feel as if a friend lent you her house. This was a real pleasant and quintessentially british experience ! Also VERY convenient with lots of groceries stores around 5min walk. It took us 10min walk from the neareast Underground Station. The area is typical, with charming houses and, a bit further, a busy street with big sidewalks and a varieties of shops. Furthermore Melanie communicated extensively with us which made our stay very smooth. Thank you for helping us having a fantastic trip :)
