Cottage holiday rentals in Waterside

Iain and Laura couldn’t have been more accommodating - they went above and beyond for us! The cottage was immaculate and very cosy, with a lovely peaceful and private setting. It was easy to find, and parking was no problem. The bed was really comfortable, and we slept so well. The hot tub was a great size and the perfect temperature. Even though it rained during part of our stay, we could still enjoy it thanks to the cover. There were instructions for everything - from local takeaways to appliance manuals. They’ve really thought of everything. We’d absolutely love to come back again - a perfect relaxing break!

My sister's and I had a lovely two night stay in Kingarrow Cottage. The cottage was spotless, the beds so comfy and there was everything you need in the kitchen. There was an amazing welcome pack left also. The hot tub was much welcomed and well utilised by us all. Susan was an excellent host. She gave us recommendations on where to eat and where the best pubs are. Hennesseys was our choice and we had a brilliant night there. I would highly recommend a stay in Kingarrow cottage. Stunning old property from the 1600’s located on a 9 acre lots with horses and highland coos. Carolyn was a wonderful host, we couldn’t have asked for more. One of our members got into a car accident while we were staying there. Carolyn went out of her way to help us out with the car rental company and drove us back to our car and waited there till the tow truck arrived and the car was loaded on. We were also there for the big North West 200 race weekend and she guided us on how to go watch the races. I would give her a 10 star review if I could. Absolutely wonderful lady. Highly recommend her property.

Squirrel Cottage was such an amazing find! Very private, open planned and cosy too. It had everything you needed, the dressing gowns were such a nice touch especially when using the hot tub out the back of the property. Within half an hours driving distance to Portrush, Portstewart and the beautiful North Coast.

We had a fabulous stay at Kilcoobin cottage. It is very well equipped and comfortable....a real home from home. The surroundings are quiet and the views spectacular. There are 2 sitting rooms to choose from. The kitchen is large and very well-eqipped. The bedrooms are all large and comfortable with plenty of wardrobe/ drawer space. We took our youngest grandchildren aged 10years and 6 years for the first time and, despite some mixed weather there was lots for them to do in the surrounding area. Beaches are clean and very few people about. The people who we did meet were friendly and welcoming. There are some good restaurants close by. Kilcoobin is a calm oasis where we could relax and leave our hectic lives behind.

One of the nicest houses my family and I have ever stayed in. Absolutely beautiful with views to die for. We spent 2 nights here for my dads 80th birthday. Joan showed us around the property on arrival and told us all about places to visit and eat out. Attention to detail was second to none and the welcome pack with homemade fruit soda bread that was still warm was so thoughtful and greatly appreciated. Cannot wait to return this is truely a hidden gem in the most scenic part of the north west of Ireland. Thank you for everything ♡♡

A fabulous stay at Drumcovitt for my partner's birthday. A real home from home which had everything we needed. Beautiful surroundings which we were able to make the most of due to the beautiful weather. Very comfortable beds meaning we all had a great sleep. The welcome tray was a lovely touch and milk in the fridge meant we could have a cuppa as soon as we arrived! The lovely garden and farm lanes were perfect for walking our dog who came with us. The welcome folder was a wealth of useful information about local places to visit, eat out at etc, especially for those who aren't local. The cherry on top for my son was the games room, he loved the table tennis! All in all everything was perfect, we wouldn't hesitate in coming back to Drumcovitt again.

Mary was great , gave us so great suggestions for eating and lovely walks with a difficulty rating which was good for me as I have a few problems with a knee problem . Lovely lady very welcoming we will definitley go back to one for Marys propertys .

Peters Place was wonderful, private. loved being on the farm with the animals. the surrounding area it was all perfect. Lots of area to walk and wonder. Peter offered great suggestions on things to do in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Isabella is a very good host and spends time telling you about the cottage and the sorrounding area. The cottage is set in a peaceful area with plenty of parking .Farm animals can be seen in the nearby fields with hens around the garden. The cottage is very well furnished with plenty of bed clothes and towels.The kitchen has everthing you need with coffee tea milk butter etc provided. I would recommend the cottage for a peaceful getaway.

We absolutely love staying here and this is a return visit for us! The location is perfect and close to everything you would want to do on the coast. Their Airbnb is absolutely stunning and has everything you need, we felt right at home and could switch off and relax when being there. The host were lovely too giving us recommendations and helping us when messaging during our stay. Thank you for having us and we will be sure to visit again! :)

Excellent Stay. Cottage has everything you need. Confortable Bed. Smart TV with Netflix etc. Spacious and High Pressure Shower. Kitchen Fully Equipped. Easy Self Check-in and Parking Etc. Would highly recommend if looking somewhere in this area.

We stayed for two nights in this beautiful cottage. Cosy, warm and pet friendly. The cottage comes equipped with absolutely everything you might need and then some. I would definitely consider coming back for a longer time on a writing retreat. Our only regret is that we didn't read the guest information folder that the hosts prepared from cover to cover on day one. It contains a wealth of information about the cottage, things to do in the surrounding area, and that fantastic bread recipe! Thanks again Siobhan for such a memorable stay.

fabulous cottage, restored to a great standard. The fire was so cosy and ample amount of fuel provided for a fire every evening. very private with fantastic views, very easy to find and lots to see and do in the area.

Thank you for hosting us at your wonderful seaside cottage in Donegal. It was a great location, the cottage was spotlessly clean, and afforded us everything we needed for our stay. We even caught the very first ferry of the year across the Swilly and enjoyed the wonderful views all around the coast.

Had an amazing stay relaxing, peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Special little sanctuary. Mary was an amazing host very informative and so very friendly. I will definitely return and look forward to my next stay.
