Holiday rentals with a patio in Watamu

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohlgefühlt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der tolle Pool, den wir gerne genutzt haben. Die Kommunikation mit JC & Sol war sehr einfach, es wurde jederzeit auf Anfragen prompt reagiert. Die Wohnung ist sauber und sehr ansprechend, besonders die Terrasse hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Alles prima!

A little slice of paradise—peaceful, relaxing, and set in a beautiful garden with multiple seating areas and a great pool to cool off in. The apartment itself is well-equipped and feels like a home away from home. It’s separate from where Esther lives next door, so you have plenty of privacy, but she’s always available if you need anything. We rented a motorbike which made getting around really easy—exploring different beaches, restaurants, the supermarket, and even the gym. Esther is a fantastic host—warm, friendly, and always happy to help. Watamu has a lot to offer, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Safety is very important to me as I have had problems at other locations; Nathan's place has 24/7 security and is very secure.

Even in very mixed weather, we had a great stay in Cecilias house. What we love is the style of the house, the pool, and that its right on the beach. The maid Rosie is very attentive as well as Cecilia who is very flexible and communicative. Looking forward to return:)

This was the perfect location for our family with a toddler. Easy first floor walk out to pool and access to the beach. Comfortable AC in the bedrooms. Very nice bathrooms and convent kitchen for stay-in cooking. Looking forward to returning to Patrick’s first floor unit in the future!

This place is an absolute gem. My girlfriend and I had to extend our stay and needed a quite place to work remotely. This was it! Very peaceful, great internet and very temperate (never got too hot). Philippe, the host, was super responsive and very accomodating to our needs. Also the kitchen was superb, for any foody looking for a well equipped kitchen, this is the place. As for the location, it is very central, a 5 minute walk to both beaches, a new cafe just opened up on the corner for those looking for fresh croissants in the morning and there is a great gym about 1 minutes walk from the apartment. Loved it... and we will be back :)

A beautiful place. Had wonderful time with my family. The place was clean and spacious. Zawadi the caretaker was lovely. Would recommend this place. Perfect for family.

Joanna’s place was amazing. My daughter with 6 friends went there and Joanna was very supportive and welcoming. The house is large, breezy, in great conditions, with large en suite rooms. The girls had a cook who helped prepare breakfast and dinner for a very reasonable prize , the pool was cleaned daily and the place was excellent for groups of families or friends. I would highly recommend and we will definitely go back !

I was thrilled with my stay ! Tess has thought of absolutely everything to create a perfectly effortless holiday accommodation - lovely coastal style home with open air flowing through and lush greenery around. Every space tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Each room with privacy and its own patio! Great wifi so you can lounge poolside and get work done if needed:) Chef catering to your needs with fantastic food and really lovely home-style spaces for games, meals and organizing fun days! activities- Tess helped organize our days so we balanced activity and relaxation- helping to plan activities in the water and in Malindi for us based on what our group wanted to do/see. Going on a water safari was awesome- def. a must do! safety + security- never had a single concern. There are call boxes in every room though we never needed. staff was amazing. location - you can walk to the beach! made it so easy to move solo within the group for morning swims and beach walks!

L'appartement était exactement comme les photos. Un bijou au milieu de la forêt. Nous avons profité de la piscine, du calme du quartier, de la douceur de la vie. Tout était presque parfait. Le site est un peu loin des commodités et il faut réserver au moins 20min à l'avance si on veut sortir avec des ubers ou tuktuk. La route qui mène vers la villa est cabossée. Après, la villa est tellement agréable qu'on a pas besoin d'en sortir peut être. Le personnel était adorable et à l'écoute. Merci pour ce magnifique séjour

Winnie’s place was a fairytale and a dream- the house was beautiful, spacious and super clean. Easily accessible and Winnie was super flexible with our check in as we were driving down from Mombasa and we made a few stops on the way making our arrival in Malindi a bit late. I would highly recommend her place to anyone who comes to Malindi.

We had an amazing 4 day stay at this beautiful home. The staff were absolutely exceptional- Special thanks to Kimathi and Simon for all their hospitality and kindness. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and at peace at the house. We loved meeting Azadeh also- She was so helpful and a beautiful host. Nothing was a trouble for the staff and they made the stay truly perfect! Everything was as per the description and photos were accurate. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and we would happily stay again! Thank you!

Pam is a great host, the house was very clean and prepared, I recommend 100% The complex has security guard and it's very private and quiet Below a couple of things I learned about Kenya/Watamu that might be helpful for the new travelers: You can to go to a Safaricom shop with your passport and some local cash, and you can get a cellphone line and a Mpesa account The Watamu hospital is near, doctor's consultation: 1000 Kes Mombasa to Watamu with a privet driver should cost around 8 or 10 k. Local transport (Matatu) is possible, but not for everyone: airport to Buxton Stage in taxi, from there a Matatu to Gede, and then a motorbike to the house It's nice to buy some pens, notebooks, biscuits, etc, and give to children in the village nearby, they will be very happy and thankful On the way to Garoda beach there's small vegetable stand. And passing the entrance there's local stores where you can buy groceries cheaply Gede ruins i would recommend visit, bring bananas for the monkeys

Tembo villa is a lovely, welcoming place to stay near the center of Watamu. My room was huge with a spacious communal living area shared only by one other room. It was up on the 1st floor overlooking a beautiful clean pool. The staff were incredibly friendly & Jojo, the manager, is a bright & very helpful young woman happy to accomodate all my needs. Its value for money is excellent, one of the cheaper places to stay in Watamu & worth every penny. The king size bed was very comfortable, with a mosquito net provided & a fan overhead. The bathroom spacious & clean. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed to make meals & coffee. I highly recommend this lovely place you wont regret it

This is a great little spot close to a beach, nice views and good breeze, and also very accessible to all parts of Watamu. I especially loved the unit itself and the swimming pool - perfect craftsmanship. There are good restaurants in walking distance too as well as the shops at peponi plaza. Special shoutout to Antonio who was very responsive and accommodating through our stay. I would happily return.

Rita was an absolutely wonderful host. She allowed us to check in earlier since we were travelling from far. In fact , she was awake when we arrived early in the morning to usher us in. The house was clean, spacious and super beautiful. The surrounding were green and well maintained. The staff at the house were really helpful and the place felt very secure. We enjoyed our stay at this house. We enjoyed the food that was prepared for us by the host and the chill and relaxing atmosphere created for the guest. I would highly recommend this place and I will be back again soon. Thank you for making our stay in Watamu memorable.

Lovely appartment just in front of the beach and close to all amenities. Very good communication with Alessandro who was always prompt to responding to queries. The A/C in the room was much appreciated! The nearby hôtels are a bit noisy over the week end. Overall a very pleasant experience!

We had a great stay at Lucy’s place. Check-in was smooth and on time, and the place was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The swimming pool was amazing, and we were able to use it every day. The air conditioner kept us comfortable, and having a washing machine and iron was really helpful, especially with the clothes we brought. A cleaner came in regularly, which kept everything tidy. Getting to the main amenities and nearby cities was easy, and tuk-tuks were readily available to pick us up whenever needed. Overall, everything went smoothly, and I would highly recommend staying at Lucy’s place!

We greatly enjoyed or stay at Isigi's Le Pleiadi Maia. A beautiful condo with everyyhing you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Isigi is an excellent host. The staff at Le Pleiadi Maia is top notch. Besides being hard woring they are also very firendly and engaging. The grounds, garden and pool at Le Pleiadi Maia are immaculate. The morning breakfast provided is something to look forward to every day. Le Pleiadi Maia is located close to shopping, dining and numerous beach locations. Our week stay at Le Pleiadi Maia went by too fast and we are already looking to return again for another stay. Definitely 5 plus stars!

Milkah's place was a great beautiful and clean house. She allowed an early check-in. She provided soap and complimentary water ++ for the Malindi heat. She was always available on call and very responsive. We enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend her house.

By far one of the most responsive hosts I've encountered. I booked late, but host responded super fast, communication & instructions from the host was clear & excellent. I was able to find the place easily & check in was smooth. The apartment was clean, and exactly as described.
