Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Watamu

This was my 3rd stay at the Beach Cottages, so hopefully that says a lot. The marketing is honest and accurate. The setting is beautiful, all of the staff are wonderful, and very helpful. They all care, and are willing to go that extra mile to help make your stay enjoyable. Benjamin's team even made a simple gate so that my dog could be off lead in the garden around the chalet. I love it and will return.

The Baobab Dream House is a great alternative for people visiting the Kenyan coast - located in a village next to the creek, it's offering beautiful nature, quiet village life and of course the baobab next to the house. The wooden house is very cute and the caretaker is helpful.

Die Unterkunft ist eine grüne Oase, äußerst geschmackvoll, sehr sauber, die Betreiber sehr freundlich und ansprechbar in allen Belangen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und in einem wunderschönen Ambiente. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wären am liebsten noch langer geblieben. Alex ist ein sehr sympathischer und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber- mehr als empfehlenswert- jeder Zeit gerne wieder. Wir sagen Dankeschön- auch für den späten Check- in.

Tabi is the perfect Kenyan host that you can find. She is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the region. I had an excellent stay in Malindi. Very clean, hygienic and spacious room. Good for leisure traveller on a budget. You cannot go wrong with Tabi :)

"Pola and Alex's BnB exceeded all my expectations! The place boasts stylish, modern furnishings that create a cozy yet chic ambiance. Every morning, I was treated to an amazing breakfast spread, masterfully prepared by their in-house chef. The flavors and variety were exceptional. What's more, the location is perfect — it's very close to the beach and just a short walk to the town center. Despite its proximity to these attractions, the BnB maintains a tranquil atmosphere; I appreciated the quiet nights. Another highlight was the absence of mosquitoes in the room, a common nuisance in beach areas. The fast internet was a boon for both leisure and work. A standout feature of this BnB is the on-site spa. I indulged in daily massages and facials, which were incredibly rejuvenating. This added luxury truly made my stay special. I wholeheartedly recommend Pola and Alex's place for anyone looking for a mix of relaxation, luxury, and convenience. A truly memorable stay!"

We had a great stay at 2LivU Villa - it can be tricky to find as I believe it changed name recently from 'Watamu villas'. It was clean and the employees were very friendly and accommodating. Nice breakfast in the morning and good location!

Siamo stati benissimo nel bnb di Andrew! La casa è molto bella, offre diverse camere indipendenti con bagno. Noi eravamo in famiglia ma la consiglierei anche a coppie di amici. Ottima e abbondante colazione servita nel giardino! A due passi a piedi si raggiunge Sardegna 2 kite (quindi ottima location per kiters) e Marafiki beach bar dove si mangia un ottimo calamaro grigliato. La cucina è un po' lenta quindi "pole pole" ma l''insalata di polpo al curry del cuoco Holiday è speciale! (il polpo viene pescato da pescatori locali direttamente nei pressi del ristorante!) La strada che collega la casa a watamu e Malindi è sterrata e un po' tortuosa al momento della nostra visita, noi ci siamo sempre spostati con tuk tuk e moto con conducente che girano in abbondanza sulla via. Fuori casa c'è un villaggio che porta in casa la musica e il vociare del vicinato offrendo una esperienza molto local rispetto ai resort della zona. Un guardiano sempre presente nel bnb garantisce la sicurezza.

We loved our stay at Sunset Lab, it was a really nice vibe with only 5 rooms allowing you lots of space and freedom. The rooms were perfectly spacious, cleaned daily and had great outdoor areas where you can chill. The pizzas were 10/10 along with the cocktails. Highly recommend and great value for money!

please include the internet as part of the price.. Everything else is pristine.

Kimya House è un luogo meraviglioso. Alberto è senza alcun dubbio il migliore host di Watamu, il suo personale è super! L'alloggio è in ogni suo aspetto perfetto, la piscina, la cura del giardino, la musica rilassante, ci si sente a casa! I pasti sono stati tra i migliori di tutta la nostra vacanza. A causa di un problema intestinale dovuto ad un nostro errore, presso un villaggio locale, siamo stati per un paio di giorni parecchio male e Alberto si è reso super disponibile per fare sí che ci riprendessimo. Grazie a lui è passato tutto in fretta e siamo riusciti a goderci il restante tempo alla grande! Ci ha dato ottimi consigli e abbiamo passato del tempo assieme molto piacevole! Struttura consigliatissima! :) Speriamo di rivedere presto Kimya House e Alberto!

Great place for a relaxing holiday with a pleasant twist in Watamu Tamu! I chose to stay at Matteo’s for the proximity to the beach and the beautiful gardens. Indeed the place is amazing and super close to the beach! Private umbrellas and sun beds allow you to enjoy a full day next to the sea carefree! There is a bar/restaurant with great sea views ideal for romantic sunsets! It offers a variety of drinks and mostly Italian cuisine - pizza is a must! Great music too! Friday evenings can be busy as the management organises parties and music events so be ready for dancing! There are many tourist shops and clubs around while you can take a 3 min ride to the nearest malls (pharmacies, supermarkets etc) in Watamu! Matteo and his team are very friendly, positive and very helpful. Highly recommended and definitely coming back ;)

So beatiful villa. I would recommend to all visning watamu. The staff in the villa was available at all time, and they even arranged a lovely lunch for us when we checked in
