We were with a group of 13 and enjoyed the accommodation immensely. In the house there was enough to keep us busy, I am thinking of the great sauna and swimming pond but also the extensive range of board games, toys, chess board and poker set. It is a very charming house that is modern where it should be. The area was beautiful and even more beautiful than in the picture. You can take a very nice walk directly from the garden and you are really in nature. This is definitely recommended!

We stayed with 2 families for an extended weekend in Kathi's house. The house and the spacious garden invite you to relax. Everything was clean and well maintained and Kathi was quick to respond to all questions and was very helpful.

We were very satisfied with the stay. There are tons of toys for children. There is a great barbecue area and the house is well equipped. All in all, both the house and the garden are very well maintained. We will definitely be back!

Nice accommodation, for a weekend. With the airfield next door, it's definitely a cool experience. The view from the houses could have been a little nicer for the area. You have to get your water for the accommodation in a canister, but that's not so bad either. The sanitary facilities were okay, but can be improved. Very nice staff.

Everything was great and super. The sauna and the pool worked great. You had everything you needed and the hosts were extremely friendly. We'd love to come back

We spent very pleasant days. The house was perfectly furnished, we lacked nothing. Balcony and living room offer a beautiful south view of the meadows and fields in front of the house. The quiet location in the small village invites you to take small and large hikes. If you get in the car, you can reach the well-known sights of the Rhön in 10 to 30 minutes, such as the Milsburg, the Wasserkuppe, the black moor, Bishofsheim and the Gangolfsberg. Perfect stay with Micha and Tina! The house is superbly equipped and really leaves nothing to be desired. Everything was sparkling clean, very tidy and cozy - you can tell that a lot of attention is paid to details here. Micha and Tina were also very friendly and helpful. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime. Absolute recommendation

The accommodation is an absolute dream. There were 9 of us and we all liked it very much, no complaints, there is a lot of space, you can sleep very comfortably, the bathrooms are new and modern, there is a TV in every bedroom. The winter garden invites you to cozy evenings and the garden below with terrace is also very nice.. All in all, the accommodation is worth every penny!Thank you very much.

Great house, lots of space, very nice hosts, clear recommendation

We were able to enjoy a few days with our dog in the great apartment, no, the whole house, that Christiane offered. What a wonderfully nice, authentic and cozy house! Within original headroom in some rooms, which makes the building very original, all rooms well arranged and cozy. Everywhere (even in the bedrooms) a cozy wood stove, which we fired once in the kitchen and in the living room because of the moderate outside temperature - immediately nice and warm, also because the rooms are not too large; wonderful! Comfortable beds, good bathroom(s!), beautiful bedrooms and almost everywhere a beautiful view over the slopes towards Fulda. The (very quiet) village offered very nice hiking opportunities, for a message, beer or restaurant you have to be a little further - but if you like peace (and we do) you are fine in this nice house. Finally: a great fun garden, with a fence, so that the dog stays within reach. We thank Christiane and Markus!

We had a great time in this beautiful and lovingly furnished half-timbered house. You feel right at home. The location in the middle of the old town is great, and with a suspension bridge, forest ball court and playgrounds, great activities with children are possible. Annouck and Benji were very nice and very accessible. We will be happy to come back.

We were satisfied with everything, recovered well and the fenced property for our dog was very nice. The only thing missing in the description was that the stairs were very inconvenient for dogs...but not bad, we slept downstairs. The cottage is very modern, for us already much too good😅 maybe you could get new cutlery and the chairs are too low for the table, or the table too high for the chairs. But this is not a criticism, it is just information or a recommendation. Best wishes and thank you for the wonderful days in Thuringia.

We were with 3 couples and 1 dog for 3 nights in the Rothäuser Mühle. Bernhard and Susanne are great, likeable and uncomplicated hosts. Always helpful and approachable, yet mindful of guests' privacy. Great! We felt very comfortable in the house and the surroundings. Everything your heart desires. Our dog spent the whole day outside on the spacious grounds and we didn't want to do a big city tour because it was so nice to sit there under shady trees and enjoy the free days together. We will be happy to come back!

The stay at Sonja's was really perfect. The house is spacious and very cozy. We found everything we needed. There was even water and milk provided for us. There was still enough coffee. The kitchen is modern and equipped with everything you need. In the dining area at the large dining table, we started the day with a good breakfast and ended the evening with a convivial get-together. The bathroom also left nothing to be desired. There are plenty of sleeping places to sleep in the house, ideal for a family with children. Internet and TV worked great. Board games are available for exciting game nights. The terrace is very comfortable and quiet. The sauna is right next door, even though we didn't use it, it looked very inviting. There is an Italian restaurant in the area, which is highly recommended. All in all, perfect all around! Thank you for the friendly communication with Sonja and Kerstin!

We spent our family weekend at Forsthaus Zieglerfeld and are simply enthusiastic about the house, the amenities and the property. We didn't miss anything and we immediately felt at home! The forest house is very stylishly and harmoniously furnished - just beautiful! For us, it was perfect that each room had its own bathroom! Thanks to the great weather, we were able to make extensive use of the yard and garden, with sun loungers, children's toys, fire bowl,... The Forsthaus is simply a gem! We'll be back! Thanks to Carmen for the homemade apple pie with which we were welcomed - delicious!!

Simply a unique experience - absolutely recommended! Whether with friends or family – our group had a really great time in this extraordinary accommodation! We had the entire property to ourselves: our own little pub (!), a huge kitchen with a large pizza oven (and in each apartment, an additional small kitchen), a cozy dining room with a long table for social evenings and a beautiful courtyard, perfect for grilling. The amenities really leave nothing to be desired - everything you need was there (and more). Everything is lovingly furnished and super well maintained. A big thank you also to the hosts - friendly, warm and helpful. You can tell right away: here, the culture of hospitality is lived with passion. We will be back for sure!

Superb stay at Helge’s place which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Despite the miserable weather, we had a wonderful time. The house is great for being in nature even in bad weather. The newly built sauna was a big plus and the beautiful bright kitchen a great place for many conversations and extensive cooking. We will be happy to come back!

We had a very nice time in Renate's house. The surroundings invite you to numerous hikes and excursions and in the apartment you will find everything you need and the beds are very comfortable! We will be happy to come back :)

If you are looking for a quiet place, this is definitely a recommendation. The house is spacious, clean and everything we needed was present. Even plenty of coffee, tea, detergent, spices, oil, etc. The area is quiet, with many small beautiful villages where there is little entertainment. But if you drive a little further, there are also beautiful cities to visit. There are many cycling routes nearby where you do not have to cycle on the larger roads. You really get to the middle of nowhere on those routes. Benjamin's parents live 2km away and are very friendly and helpful. Benjamin responds quickly and appropriately to messages.

The place is just perfect for us. Everything we need is available and also super well thought out.

Oliver's basic mill is very idyllic and for us it was ideally located for a meeting from northern and southern Germany. Unfortunately, we were not so lucky with the weather to use the great terrace and garden. The communication with Oliver was very friendly. The evenings we sat in a separate room downstairs in the economy, where Oliver cooked for an evening. This was very pleasant as the kitchens of the apartments are two floors higher and we did not all have space there due to our group size (15 people). We took two excursions, one to the border museum and a nearby moor. All and all it was a very nice weekend. :)

We spent relaxed days in this super beautiful cottage and the idyllic natural garden. The cottage has been lovingly renovated, yet it has retained its old charm in many places. There is a lovely welcome package, which the children and our dog were very happy about. The area is super beautiful and interesting. There is a great nature reserve nearby and it is not far to Eisenach. The nearest shopping facility is only a few kilometers away in the next village. You can also have a great holiday in this house and in the surrounding area with a rather nervous animal welfare dog. There is plenty of space and tranquility for everyone. The people in the village are also very nice and understanding. You can start hiking directly from the house. There is a good information folder. Our children were thrilled with the warm down duvets and extra blankets, as the weather was cool on Pentecost. We can only recommend the Kaufmann family and their cottage! 😃
