You'll feel like you have stepped back in time 20 years in this sleepy little town. A stones throw away from the snake river, and less than a minute drive to the train depot if you are in town for a wedding. The start of the Weiser River Trail is just a mile away. A quaint little candy shop, coffee shop and delicious pizza is within walking distance. A train runs a hundred + yards behind the house. Kids love it, and so do we! A large yard and patio gives you space to relax. 3 beds, 2 baths.

Enjoy a peaceful night, with the sounds of the creek and a few farm animals mixed in, including dogs that will visit your front door and keep guard on the property. Dogs may bark in the middle of the night! Our tiny and cozy guest house has custom and unique details throughout and is best suited for 1-2 people. This home is up a dirt road and there is parking directly in front of the tiny house.

Family home in Weiser, ID-Fiddle Fest

We usually stay in guesthouses, so we wondered how a family home with children might work. Lindsay's house was completely uncluttered and clean, with very comfortable beds and furniture and a pleasant fenced back yard plus a fully outfitted kitchen.The front porch offered a lovely view of fields and hills. The house would comfortably accommodate two couples, each with their own bathroom, plus one or two children (in an upstairs room without a bathroom.) The house was a short walk across a field to the historic Intermountain Institute buildings and the high school where the Weiser Oldtime Fiddle Festival is held each year. It is a short drive or a 1-mile-plus walk to the old downtown. In addition to a great fiddling experience, we explored Weiser's many historical and architecturally interesting buildings. We recommend Lindsay's house.

the Lumberjill was a fantastic place to stay. Plenty of room for 4 with every amenity you could reasonably expect. The 1 and only gripe possible is the room which lacks a TV and the TVs available are quite small. If you're not a screen junky you will be fine. Even if you are, the TVs are adequate. I was trying to find anything at all to complain about and if that's all I could say you know it's a good place to stay. Quiet little town with extremely low crime rate, which is a pleasant change of pace for me.

what a beautiful place tucked away just a mile from council. The property is private, very clean, and well taken care of. Lisa made us feel right at home. She was quick to respond to any questions I had and went out of her way to make it stay as enjoyable as possible. We will definitely be back!
