The Lodge

JamesRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A fantastic 2 day break at the Lodge hosted by Diana. Diana was a super host, super quick response time and everything in place as described and in the photos. The location is great to explore the Northumberland coast, yet is very private to enjoy a peaceful weekend away - the hot tub is perfect for this. The White Swan pub which the Lodge is linked to serves fantastic food with plenty of choice and great value for money. A great weekend and would definitely recommend Diana and the Lodge

Beautiful beach cottage

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Incredible location and beautifully presented cottage, easy to find and immediately comfortable and welcoming to stay in. Lindsay was a really kind and helpful host, sending lots of useful information ahead of our stay, very responsive to any queries while we were there, and generous with little touches to say hello - milk, bread, brownies, and even treats for the dog! This is a beautiful part of the world, with incredible walking to be had but not always the best weather so, the boot room for outdoor gear and general sorting out was really appreciated. Knowing it is just early days for Lindsay, you can be sure this stay will only get better with time and we would definitely love to return - thank you!

The View: idyllic and remote off-grid cabin

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Really lovely place and so unique. Location is perfect and so private. Facilities are good considering they are basic and the shower was great. Very clean. Could do with a fresh lick of paint but overall an amazing stay, we already want to rebook.

Luxury cottage with castle, sea and hill views

TriciaRating, 5 stars12 months ago
We had a wonderful week's stay, immediately feeling relaxed and at home. Everything was perfect, thank you so much for the welcome hamper which was very thoughtful and lovely to arrive to after a long drive. The cottage was the perfect base for so many local places to visit and in particular the views of Bamburgh Castle beautiful. As well as a landing trip to Inner Farne to see the puffins, we were lucky to be visited by 2 hares most evenings and some mornings in the garden-just incredible. Thank you so much for a lovely stay in your beautiful cottage-we really didn't want to leave!

1 Pear Tree - 1 bedroomed apartment in Beadnell

Cheryl LeeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The accommodation is spacious and comfortable. It’s just off a main road which provides excellent connections to all the main tourist attractions but it’s still so quiet. The flat is really peaceful - we didn’t hear a sound from inside. The village has really good amenities for its size and the restaurants are very popular so it’s a good idea to book. The pub garden is a delight after a day’s activities and the Courtyard Cafe offers cheaper meal options. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals but do pack the basics - salt, pepper, oil etc. There’s a small village shop which closes fairly early but there are other options in Seahouses which is a few minutes drive away. Overall, a fantastic base to spend a week sightseeing an amazing area - we particularly enjoyed Bamburgh Castle and beach, the boat trip to inner Farne, Cragside, the walk from Craster to Embleton Bay via Dunstanburgh Castle, Lindesfarne and the weekend market at Tynemouth. We will return.

Deneholme home from home Adderstone Folly

VictoriaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay. The bungalow was great, had everything we needed. It was clean and tidy, beds were comfortable. The secure garden was brilliant, kids loved playing in it and enjoyed watching the birds in the front garden every morning. The location was great for exploring lovely places near by like Bamburgh and Lindisfarne. Our host answered all our questions quickly and checking in was really easy. We would love to stay again!
