Dark Horse - boutique farm shed - horse friendly

MonRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Wonderful 1 bedroom cottage, huge high ceilings and beautiful polished cement floor. It was built so well as it really kept the heat in! Ideal for our little winter break. The horses are so friendly, always coming up for a chat. We went to the motorcycle museum, a little walk to see the Ellenborough Falls (highly recommend!) and had the best food at the local The Artisan Farmer in Nabiac. Lovely little aspect to sit and watch the sunset, with hills and a pond to admire. Just a little surprised how close we were to the highway and you can hear it when you are outside. Not a peep once you are inside though. Highly recommend!

Eco Friendly Cottage @ Simple Patch Farm

SummerRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Beautiful cottage surrounded by nature, sunshine and chirping hummingbirds. The perfect getaway for a weekend of relaxation. Host was very accommodating and the cottage was very well prepared and clean. Warm fires of an evening under the stars. Loved the eco friendly touch, very inspiring to create our own version of their little eco cottage.

Belgravia Bungalow Stylish 2 Bedroom Guesthouse

Terri and Adrian, From the moment we arrived, we felt not only welcomed but truly at home. Your space is more than just a place to stay - it’s filled with warmth, thoughtfulness, and a sense of peace that made our time here incredibly special. Every detail, from the cozy touches to the home-baked sourdough, granola and delicious goodies in the fridge, showed how much care and love you put into hosting. It’s clear that you go above and beyond to make your guests feel comfortable, and we are so grateful for that. As a family, we created lasting memories here, whether it was enjoying quiet mornings drinking tea, having late afternoon fires, getting visits from Toby and Vader, or simply relaxing after our adventures. Your home became apart of our story, and for that, we are truly thankful our path lead us here. Thank you for your generosity, your kindness, and for providing such a lovely haven for us to retreat to, we loved our time with you. Lot of ♥️ Liam, Jenna, Coco and Rayne!

Attic & Co. Creekside Accomodation @ Old Bar Beach

We had a lovely stay here over a mild, sunny Easter long weekend as a birthday treat. Heidi has curated all these wonderful vintage items along with other clever renovations to give an all-encompassing vintage vibe. There was attention to detail in comfort and cosines too. The bed and soft linen was so very comfy! We loved finding all the little treats generously supplied by Heidi - fresh bread, eggs from their own chicken, olive oil, a fresh chocolate coconut slice - and more! And enjoyed just sitting on the verandah having a tea overlooking the lawn towards the reserve and creek at the back. Some cute little birds flirting about in the mornings. Locally we had a great share platter lunch at a place called ‘Flow Bar’. There’s a nice estuary to have a paddle in down at Khappinghat reserve. A short drive south the beach at Black Head was nice and protected to have a dip. Would also recommend the lunch menu and gourmet deli supplies from ‘The Artisan Farmer’ (Nabiac).

Black Head Stay 5 minute walk to beaches

VictoriaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was to be my second stay with Bernadette. Unfortunately the rain even meant I could not actually get there and I ended up driving home (yes, it was a looong night!!!) Bernadette checked in and so kindly offered to move my stay so I am not out of pocket. She did not have to do this, so I appreciate her kindness. I was looking forward to visiting again, as this space is really beautiful!
