Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Wakulla County

This place really sets the standard for items that are INCLUDED with a rental! Things were included WELL beyond expected. Pots, pans, dishes, silverware, Tupperware, storage bags, spices, salt, pepper, blankets, towels, kayaks, bicycles, propane(3 bottles!), binoculars, printer, paper towels, napkins, paper plates, etc, etc, and the list goes on and on! How many places have half & half, butter, and orange juice in the refrigerator waiting on you? There was no corner cut anywhere. ALSO...this places was clean from top to bottom. We really enjoyed this place! Thank you for doing things the right way!

This location is EXACTLY what our family wanted in a vacation. Squeaky clean and well-maintained home, private and quiet, easy access to the beach, and all the items we need to enjoy the beach! This is a fantastic option if you just want to get away from the crowds and always have a dedicated spot on the beach you can walk to in seconds. We loved being able to easy head back to the deck/lanai for lunches (as well as eating out there for dinners). And the star-gazing at night was amazing! Definitely recommend getting groceries on the way to the place, but there are quite a few good restaurants that are ~20 minute drive away in Panacea. The host has great communication and obviously cares about the details; this is one of our first vacation rentals we had no issues with. Well, we did have one light bulb burn out :-)

Beautiful place and the yard was great for the dogs! We really enjoyed our stay here! Great location! The hosts were very responsive and helped anyway they could!

This was definitely one property that met the description and pictures. The place is very quiet and peaceful. The area is a small coastal community set up for boating and fishing, but within driving distance to St. George Island and Mexico Beach for different water activities. Absolutely enjoyed our stay, great restaurants close by with fresh seafood on each menu. Would highly recommend this place to rest and recharge. (I would bring my own pillow though if you prefer a down filled one)

The house was great! We came in for a fishing trip. Plenty of room to park the boat and 1 extra truck. Good proximity to the city boat ramp. Full of cooking utensils and very clean. 10/10 do recommend this house.

I don't even know where to begin .... John's place was so just fantastic! We were in town for a FSU graduation and were so happy we did not stay in the city. Our favorite part was having coffee while sitting in the adirondacks on the pier in the mornings and wine in the evenings. Just super peaceful. We saw an Otter swim right by and listened to the manatees make their huffing noises. The amount of birds we saw and heard was really cool also. We also saw a manatee from a little bit of a distance while sitting there, but we saw a number of them up close while out kayaking which was a first for us and totally amazing! On a couple of the nights we had 5 people there and there was enough comfortable sitting space in the living room for movie night, which is important to us. We made memories cooking family meals in the well-stocked kitchen and then walking down to eat around the comfortable table in the screened in room followed by games. I would return in a heartbeat!!

We had a great time and would stay here again. That said, there was a significant cockroach issue our first day. The host addressed it promptly and effectively so I believe it is not a regular occurrence, and it did not meaningfully change the quality of our stay.

We were impressed with the size and cleanliness of the condo. Nice location to the local beeches. Pool area is clean and relaxing. Very quiet gated community.

My husband and I enjoyed 3 wonderful nights here. It was so peaceful and relaxing! Loved walking to Angelo’s all 3 evenings. Great drinks and wonderful food. The place had everything you needed to be comfortable and also to cook a great breakfast. We will be back very soon!

The condo was beautiful and well appointed. Everything thing that we needed was there. Jenna was a great host and the coffee bar was a nice addition.

Good things do come in small packages! The unit is a 2 bedroom with comfortable beds and living room area. Also very nice outside areas (front and back) with a privacy fence and even an outdoor shower, washer and dryer in one area and a screened in porch with nice table and chairs in the other area. Nice kitchen area with ample pots, pans and utensils for cooking, with full sized stove, microwave and coffee maker. Living area has a comfortable sofa and large TV. Air conditioning was more than enough to cool the interior if needed. The whole unit appeared to be updated and was very clean. We would definitely return and communication when needed was always followed up with a prompt reply from the owner.

We enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and relaxing to sit on the balcony to watch the waves and hear the sound of the ocean. We even saw dolphins which was very exciting. My family enjoyed playing in the sand , water and even fishing.

House was beautiful. Golf course was beautiful, if your golf. Both pools was clean, almost private, beach wasn’t that close but within 15 minute drive.
