Cottage holiday rentals in Wakefield

Stayed at this cottage in May and it was a lovely chalets with a scenic view. I would recommend very much ! It fit the 6 of us perfectly. Thanks

We had a guys weekend here and it was perfect. We ended up cooking feasts and their set up for cookware is the best I've seen by far; they've got it all. The rooms were comfortable, bathroom is nice and large, and the property itself is very well set up.

We had a really nice stay at Nadia and John's cottage. The deck was fantastic, and the cottage was really clean and comfortable. The week went by too quickly.

We had a fantastic weekend getaway, and loved that we could bring the pups with us! The hot tub and pizza oven were amazing, and the outdoor set up was beyond what we anticipated- games and multiple seating areas! We will definitely be going back!

Harsh’s cottage is pure magic. Surrounded by peaceful nature and trails, it’s the perfect escape. The open-concept king bedroom with sunrise views, the soothing jacuzzi, and the dreamy outdoor fireplace under the stars made every night unforgettable. But the highlight - Harsh helped my Fiancé plan the perfect proposal. We returned from dinner in Ottawa to find rose petals, glowing candles, a “Marry Me” sign on the deck, champagne, cake, and a handwritten card. It felt like stepping into a fairytale. Harsh went above and beyond with heart and care. A mesmerizing, romantic haven we’ll never forget. Thank you, Harsh.☺️

Chouette chalet très bien situé pour aller profiter de la montagne. Les escaliers vers le lac étaient dégagés ce qui était agréable. Les chalet n’a pas de lave vaisselle mais la disposition de la cuisine permet de faire la vaisselle facilement

Thanks for a great stay. We had everything we needed in the house with wonderful access to a lovely sandy beach. We enjoyed the use of the paddle boards to explore the expansive shoreline. The location is near some walking trails in the woods which our dog really enjoyed. The cottage was adjacent a public beach which was busy on the weekends, however nice and siren on the weekdays to sit and watch the sunrise. We would certainly recommend and stay again.

Location was great. The place was as described. We had a good time. Kevin was also very responsive and fixed a small issue for us quickly upon arrival. Would recommend

Slice of paradise. Really enjoyed our stay at Le Monarque. Myself and my husband (in our 30’s) and our dog were looking for a peaceful, private escape from city life. The rental was just as described and we had a wonderful time. Would recommend for any travellers looking to get a taste of the outdoors.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lakefront cottage! The place was spotless and fully stocked with everything you could need. Taylor and Tyler were incredibly communicative and thoughtful hosts — they even provided s’mores supplies, which made for a memorable first-time experience for one of the kids (and the adults also enjoyed)! The lake view was absolutely stunning, and the outdoor space was perfect for relaxing while the kids played. We felt like we were the only ones on the lake. The sunroom was a dream — breezy and cool on warm days, a great place to unwind. We saw lots of wildlife, spent quality time with family, and made memories we’ll never forget. We’re already planning our return! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with all the comforts of home.

Wow. The views of the lake from from this place are absolutely stunning! We had a great time and were very comfortable here. We loved the hot tub and the kayaks and paddle boards that were provided for use on the lake. I would definitely stay here again if I was looking for a tranquil place near Ottawa.

This was our second time at Stephane’s place and it was just as we remembered. A very special place. It is a great place to relax, enjoy some peace and quiet and reconnect with nature. All while listening to some great music and discovering the small amusing details. Thank you for sharing your incredible place. We needed and enjoyed our time here.

Had an amazing stay! The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the place was super peaceful and cozy. Perfect spot to just chill and unwind. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with some incredible scenery. Erica is a great host!

Angelina and Kevin were great hosts and so responsive. The chalet was well equipped for whatever was required. The family and I would go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for those with a large family or large group of friends. So peaceful, relaxing and tranquil.

Our stay was very comfortable. Beautiful cottage in a quiet area right on the water. The home itself is modern but with rustic charm which was very welcoming. Loved our visit!

This place is really lovely, peaceful and quiet. The grounds are gorgeous and everything in the home was really well stocked and nicely furnished. Just a note that it was cold and we didn’t use the screened in dining/living area. It is open air, so be mindful. We would recommend! Great remote getaway!

Amazing place to enjoy the waterfront and lush trees. Its calm, serene, and beautiful. The cottage is very rustic and well maintained which makes it an ideal place to settle down at for outings with friends and family.

Merci pour le beau séjour. L’endroit est bien équipé et l’emplacement est tranquille. Idéal pour un petit get away en famille. Les communications avec l’hôte étaient agréable et toujours dans un délai raisonnable. J’y retournerais volontiers!

un merveilleux week-end entre amis, même s'il ne faisait pas très chaud, nous avons adoré profiter de la vue sur le lac et pêcher 2 beaux achigans!! Le chalet était confortable, il y avait des jeux de société et même la télé (Crave) pour les moments tranquilles. Chris nous a accomodé avec l'heure de départ et répondait très vite à mes messages! Nous étions à 30 minutes environ des activités que nous avons choisis dans le parc de la Gatineau. C'était parfait pour se déconnecter !

On a reçu un accueil chaleureux de Guylène à notre arrivée et un peu avant notre départ. La communication a été très facile et bien reçue de sa part également. Le logement et l'emplacement sont très mignons et plusieurs activités disponibles à proximité. Merci encore pour l'accueil!
