Chrystal, our host, was extremely easy to communicate with, offered valuable information about the area and very responsive. We were traveling with friends, one in a wheelchair and everything was accessible and accommodating.

We loved our stay. It was a quiet area, with beautiful scenery and everything we needed in the home. The kitchen was well equipped for us to make meals, with a big grocery store nearby. Appreciated the big washer and dryer in the house too. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Sally's place did not disappoint--we so enjoyed being tucked away on the Big Island. There were plenty of nearby hikes and outdoor activities. It was also incredibly easy to just stay put and relax. We used the spot to get around to various locations on the island. We also had no issues driving back at night. Super great touches we appreciated, like having water shoes, snorkeling gear, and a cooler (all things we ended up using!). Appreciated the flexibility using the shared laundry machines. Sally also proactively offered a later check out on our last day since there was no on checking in. We hadn't planned on lingering, but ended up spending a little more time with our coffee next to the pond that morning!

We had a perfect stay — the place was super comfortable and felt just like home. It was clean, cozy, and even had beach gear, which was really handy. There was a great snorkeling spot nearby, and lots of shops and restaurants close, so everything was super convenient. We’d love to come back someday!

Lava Lounge is perfect - very clean, cosy, perfectly equipped and very well thought through. Comfy bed, sweet garden, big bathroom. And the amazing cherry on top were lovely Mack and McKaela with all their wonderful recommendations! Should we ever be so lucky to come back to the Big Island, we’d definitely stay here again. Big hearted treasure place to stay on the Big Island. Mahalo!

Thanks for the great stay. Your place is AWESOME! It was a great launch point for our Mauna Kea summit and we will forever have great memories attached here. All the personal touches make this place soo special, thanks for putting so much thought into it. We really loved the beach equipment, Emma was grateful for the umbrella. Our baby, Amelia, loved the beach toys and all of us enjoyed dinner out on the lanai. This place has us already thinking about coming back to the big island. Thanks again for an excellent stay!

We have stayed several times at different Mauna Kea residence condos and this was one of the nicest! It was so clear, well stocked with very modern furnishings. The view from the lanai is lovely— looking out over the 4th hole of the Hapuna golf course. Jeff and Suzanne were perfect hosts and very responsive! Don’t hesitate to book this one 😊

This place was absolutely perfect! I’ve stayed a lot of places and never given a review but this one deserves mention. Spectacular view of the mountains from our second story lanai across the beautiful golf course it sits on. Behind gated entry so very safe. Most of the family (not me) love to go for walks in the morning. Perfect place for that. Five minute drive to excellent beach with wonderful canopy and other chairs. Great snorkeling! Great GoPro video of a turtle, eel, and a world of fish. Beaches are not private but it has a gated entry to the parking. Pretty private at that point! Great pool and workout facility. Modern condo VERY well equipped. We loved this place!

The location is great, with an amazing ocean view. The host is friendly, making everything easy. No complicated house rules and check-out to-do list 🙌 Also, I loved that they provided beach chairs and an umbrella—definitely made my beach days a lot better. If you're looking for a laid-back spot to relax, highly recommend it!

The stay with Robynne was amazing! It's rare to find such a great host and such an incredibly cosy and super clean Airbnb. We would have loved to stay longer. We couldn't have imagined a better stay. It felt like home. We also got to meet the two huskies and they were super cute. All in all: 10 out of 10!! Mahalo Robynne and thank you for your hospitality!

We had an amazing stay at Allyson’s condo on the Big Island! The apartment was spotless, beautifully organized, and so thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed – it truly felt like a home away from home for the week. From the kitchen supplies to the beach gear, every detail was carefully considered and made our holiday so much more comfortable and relaxing. The location was perfect for exploring the island, and we loved having such a peaceful, welcoming space to return to at the end of each day. Allyson was a fantastic host - so kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the Big Island - thank you for making our trip so special! The best Airbnb we have ever stayed at.

Great little spot! Close to amazing beaches, came into a clean and well-kept place, extra things like detergent, etc and they had a surprise box of chocolates for us too. The neighborhood is quiet and we didn't hear a peep from downstairs. The front patio is amazing-- great sunsets. We would stay here again. One side note - there is no A/C. Plenty of fans, but it's good to know ahead of time. Thanks for a nice stay!

Angela was very responsive in the Airbnb’s app! Whenever we had an issue, ie confused the building number (due to jet lag), had a small mishap with the washing machine, or any other questions, she was always quick to reply and came over one night to problem solve the washing machine issue. It was easy, she was flexible with our schedule and very kind! She was also very accommodating for us having two little ones, she had two pack n plays set out with fresh sheets and brand new looking blankets for our arrival. Bathroom had basics items like bath washes, bubble bath, lotion, assortment of sunscreens etc. we especially enjoyed the Tommy Bahama cooler backpack for our long days at Kona beaches. This listing is on Ali’I Dr and therefore close to an assortment of local needs (Walmart for affordable groceries and several beach accesses.) Sometimes the studio was not very toddler friendly- but that is a reflection of our wildling NOT ANGELA! We would easily come again just 2 of us.

This place was amazing, your about 10 min from the coast and there are some good shops close by for a long stay. AC is only in the living room but other than that everything was perfect! would stay again for sure!

We knew this resort from before so we purposely tried to find a condo at this location. The property location is fantastic, situated in a gated community, very peaceful and safe, beautiful surroundings, 15 minutes walk to the beach, or if a quick drive with provided gate fob. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you would want during your stay, the grill in the patio works great and is the best way to prepare a few dinners. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable and everything works well. The patio is great, we used it when ever we were at home, it is very crazy with a very nice view of palms and beautiful vegetation and many birds and mongooses that run around. The garage is as described, tight fit for a large vehicle but we managed to get our mini van inside. They have a great selection of snorkel gear, we brought our own but knowing this next we would not. A beautiful space that we very much enjoyed and would definitely come back on our next visit. The host great!

Absolutely amazing experience at this beautiful place! So clean and the property is beautiful. You can tell Lola & Vitaly have put in a lot of work to update their space. There are so many amenities and extras they have thoughtfully provided to make their guests feel at home. We particularly enjoyed the beach equipment and the well stocked kitchen. We also enjoyed the comfy and well lit lanai for dinners and for bird watching in the mornings. Very responsive and helpful hosts, thank you for sharing your home with our family!

This was the perfect spot! We are walkable to downtown all the shops and restaurants and coffee places, and when you have that plus a view!! We can’t wait to come back! This was the perfect spot for a girls getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Erika's place. The location is absolutely perfect - walking distance to Kona's main attractions, supermarkets, and restaurants, which made exploring the area so convenient. Erika provided crystal-clear check-in instructions, making our arrival completely hassle-free. The space was immaculate and thoughtfully prepared with a well-stocked kitchen that included all the essentials - cooking oil, condiments, quality pots and pans, and more. These thoughtful touches made it feel like a home away from home. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the area and would happily stay here again!

The house was cozy and comfortable. We loved the outdoor shower & jacuzzi. Kathleen was very friendly, she explained everything in the house and gave us a warm welcome. There was fresh fruit from the garden for us every day! We would definitly recommend this place!

Truly an oasis! Dana and Gregory are wonderful hosts and Rivendell was one of our favorite Air BnB stays. The apartment was spotless and well-stocked, the bed was so comfortable, and the hot tub was very well-maintained and heated quickly. Now for the best part! The landscaped property and waterfall made for peaceful mornings and restful evenings. We wished we were staying longer. Mahalo for the perfect weekend stay! We will be back!

This was our first time staying at an Airbnb and we were a little nervous but Deborah was incredible! She exceeded our expectations with her friendliness, recommendations, fast response to questions, and her warm hospitality. The condo was exactly what we were expecting based on the pictures. Extremely clean with everything we needed and a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious, semi-private lanai that had a sliver of an ocean view. The bed was harder than we expected but Deborah helped fix the situation quickly to ensure we were comfortable during our stay. This was an amazing first experience and has definitely set our expectations high for future Airbnb stays. Mahalo nui loa Deborah!!! You are genuinely the best 🌺

We had a great day at Kristen and Dan’s spot. I highly recommend. Walkable to lots of local spots. Perfect home base for lots of Hawaii adventures. Very comfortable and nice to return to AC after a long day in the sun.

We wish we could give this place more than 5 stars because it was beyond what we imagined. We stayed as a family of four and it was the perfect place to be for a nice five days of vacation. There were two bathrooms and two showers as well as two private bedrooms. There is everything you need for comfort, extra blankets and towels to use. On top of that, the washer and dryer in unit was a gem.The kitchen is so well equipped that we cooked without trouble and ate at the dining table with an amazing view of the sea. The water is literally right outside the lanai with nothing blocking your view. We spent most of our time in the living room because of the beautiful ocean view. The location is great with downtown Kona as a 5-10 min drive or a nice stroll. Marta was also so responsive and kind, and had everything organized and instructions detailed down. We would stay here again if we ever visit Big Island again!
