Holiday rentals with beach access in Waikanae

Five star accommodation, fantastic position and views, beautiful apartment. Highly recommended.

Lovely little place. Viv is a great communicator and was generous with supplies and arrivals/departure times. Totally adequate as a base for us to stay while attending some training nearby.

Dayne's place was a great location, quiet, comfortable and warm, with everything we needed for a couple of days in the city. Wonderful communication too! Would recommend.

Absolutely beautiful place: well designed, spotless, and comfortable, with a stunning view over Wellington harbor. The funicular access adds a bit of magic to the experience. Lovely, simple breakfast left for us. The location is perfect—a short walk from Wellington’s central business district. Loved our stay here.

Great place, had everything we needed and really convenient for walking to local activities.

Second time staying there. A great over nighter. A warm welcome by hosts Fee and Gra and their dog Piper. Make you feel right at home. Relaxed in the spa after walking our dog to the beach behind the house, then nice quiet evening indoors. Love coming to this place. Easy to maintain and you have own place and space. Didn’t take any photos of the place, however the view was stunning! The house was very clean, the beds were super comfy and so were the pillows. It was a great big space! On Rainy days I did wish there was roof cover for the balcony… also for those who can’t do stairs. There was a few flights to climb! But well worth the trip. Amazing host, milk, coffee and a wine on arrival! Greta cafe right under the apartment was fair priced, delicious and great customer service! Thank you Giles & Zoe

Great place - very comfortable - lots of extra touches when we arrived - very welcoming to us and our dog. Lovely to walk into a lounge with the fire going on a cold evening.

We really enjoyed our stay here and particularly loved the cosy wood burner and the incredible view, with the sound of waves. Paekakariki is a perfect and relaxing holiday destination. We didn’t want to leave!

Lovely spot close to the beach and Waikanae River. The spa is amazing and the house is really cozy. Would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay, surrounded by a beautiful garden and at walking distance from the beach, restaurants and bakery. Neighboring a reserve at the back was a bonus, so we had more space to play ball games. It was a great place to rest and relax, indoor or outdoor. Board games available to play when it rained. One thing to note is that the bedroom upstairs, although private, it doesn't have a door to block any noise from downstairs. It is a cute cottage with lots of space for everybody.

Great location Comfortable beds Views and set up of the house is great. Loved our stay. Would be helpful to have a bin in the kitchen and maybe the gardens outside to see the views of Kapiti better.

Our Accomodation comfortably fitted my family of 4 Adults. Would recommend to travellers of all ages

Our stay for the last weekend of the school holidays was PERFECT im glad we made the trip to Ōtaki for a family reunion we enjoyed our stay so much we hope to return again the fire made the place so cosy when you could sit around it with the beach in your view there was lots of space, games were a hit for the kids although we didnt spend most of our time soaking up the beautiful surroundings we had a great experiences, it didnt end there waking up and having the beautiful beach right there was an absolute bonus from sunset to sunrise was stunning!!!

Carolyn is a fabulous host and her home is incredible! We had a large group of 11 adults and 5 children stay and the home was absolutely perfect. The house has absolutely everything you need and that view is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a great stay at Sam’s! The apartment is very centrally located and it is really easy to get around the city by foot or bus. I had no problems finding my way around, with it being close to lots of cafes, bars and restaurants. The apartment itself is compact, but absolutely spotless and has everything you need. The array of house plants was lovely! Lastly, Sam’s communication was impeccable; he was really responsive, helpful and had a great list of recommendations for coffee! He made it feel like nothing was too much trouble. If I’m ever back in Wellington, would definitely book again! Thanks so much Sam :)

This was a simply marvellous spot to stay! Fantastic location in a very secure location. I could easily walk to the grocery store, the waterfront, Te Papa museum and many other attractions. The apartment was spotless and equipped with everything I could imagine needing Llane was very responsive to questions and proactive with notices. I wish she owned a spot in every place on my bucket list!

The best deal for being comfortable and not cramped right in the heart of the city. The views both to the harbour and Mount Victoria are just beautiful and the perfect tonic sitting in the comfy lounger at the end of the day. Super easy instructions and both Carolyn and Aarti quick to respond to any queries. Also an extra layer of glazing in the master bedroom to keep out the city noises during the night. Friendly neighbours in the building make it a very safe space too. I would gladly return!

Perfectly located, walking distance to Mount Victoria, the water front, Te Papa museum and city center. Bus straight from the airport (if you're flying like me) will leave you just 5 min away from Donna's house. House/apartment located in a little alley way so private and quiet enough. Comfortable (amazing bed) and cozy space. Donna is very friendly as well as discreet, she's available if you need anything but the ground floor is pretty much to yourself and will feel like you have your own space. I highly recommend 🙂.
