Holiday rentals in Wahiba Sands

My only regret? Not booking for longer. This place was an absolute gem. Saif sent a Google maps link prior to our arrival which was really helpful as I don’t think we could have done it without that link. The chalet overlooks the motorway and out to the sea. Don’t be put off by that road, it’s so very quiet, 3-4 cars a minute in the evening, and the view from the terrace upstairs grabs all the attention anyway! The place is exactly as it looks on the pictures, spotless and well maintained but the real gem, the real star of the show is Sarath. Sarath is the most friendly, kind and helpful man I have met in a long time, nothing was too much trouble. He seems to appear just when you think you might have a question, otherwise, you don’t see him. I wasn’t sure about how I felt having someone so close by -he lives on site- but it’s really not intrusive at all. He also provided a super breakfast before we left.

We stayed in a room of our very nice host's apartment. Would come again.

Arrivando con il buio abbiamo un pò faticato a individuare la casa ma l'host ci ha mandato qualcuno a prenderci. Difficoltà di comunicazione in lingua ma per nostra carenza nella lingua inglese. Il posto è molto bello. Si dorme a terra ma su materassi molto comodi. Finalmente la sensazione di una accoglienza domestica in stile omanita. Siamo stati molto bene anche se ci siamo fermati una sola notte. Non mancava nulla di essenziale, compresa acqua, caffè, the e biscotti. Per chi ama viaggiare in modo semplice la soluzione è ottima. Anche per il prezzo che, nei dintorni, è risultato uno dei migliori.

È stato tutto perfetto! É un’oasi di pace e tranquillità, nel bel mezzo delle natura, con la possibilità di fornirsi dei prodotti della terra amorevolmente coltivata dai proprietari (verdure, uova…), le capanne poi sono curate nei minimi dettagli in elegante stile Omanita. Nelle immediate distanze non c’è molto ma con l’auto si possono raggiungere facilmente siti bellissimi (il deserto, i Wadi, Nizwa…), per poi rilassarsi a bordo piscina! Lo consigliamo vivamente a chi ama la natura e la tranquillità!

What a beautiful property and was exactly what was promised to us with the videos and the pictures. Brother Arif the host was personally welcoming and also provided us some great welcome drinks and sweets. The caretaker Shareef was also par excellence and very responsive and helpful. 100 recommended if you are looking for a peaceful family getaway with kids

Super villa ! Très spacieuse et bien équipée. Tout était propre. Le concierge est très gentil et au petit soin. Seul petit bémol : l’eau chaude ne durait que 5 minutes. Peut-être une erreur de notre part… Dans tous les cas, je recommande à 100%

Die Unterkunft und das gesamte Anwesen sind ein Traum. Das beste Airbnb, was wir jemals bewohnen durften. Die beiden Gastgeber waren toll und super lieb. Wir durften frisches Gemüse aus ihrem Biogarten ernten und es uns in der genialen Außenküche zubereiten. Sie gaben uns auch frische Eier von ihren Hühnern fürs Frühstück. Der selbstgebackene Kuchen von Bernadette war fantastisch. Der Pool mit frischem Brunnenwasser war genial. Sie waren so lieb und ließen uns noch 2 Stunden länger bleiben und den Pool genießen. Ich kann euch nur raten, die Datteln aus ihrer eigenen Ernte als Mitbringsel zu kaufen. Sie sind sehr lecker. Ich kann gar nicht aufhören zu schwärmen!
