Cottage Wipperoen has been in our family for 50 years. It is not in a holiday park and has its own entrance to the Tilweg. In 2018 it was completely renovated and equipped with a new kitchen, lovely beds and underfloor heating. The best part is that it is in the middle of the trees. All freedom on our own grounds of 1100m2! From the cottage you can walk into the woods in 5 minutes. Gees is centrally located in Drenthe: Emmen, the beautiful Orvelte and the shops of Hoogeveen are 20 minutes by car.

Cozy bakery a stone's throw from the German forests

In one of the quietest places in the Netherlands, you will find our completely refurbished bakery. From the yard, walk into the endless German forests or explore the area by bicycle. Beautiful places such as Ootmarsum, Hardenberg and Gramsbergen are close by, but there is also plenty to see across the border. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the private terrace has a comfortable seating area, barbecue, sun loungers and parasol. A luxury breakfast is available on request for €15 per person.

Welcoming enjoyment

Ruimte op prachtige locatie onder een rieten dak, voorzien van alle luxe. Kom bij ons voorin de boerderij heerlijk overnachten. We verhuren twee slaapkamers voorzien van nieuwe boxspring bedden. Verder treft u naast de badkamer een heerlijke sauna aan. De kamers en woonruimte (>60m2) zijn voorzien van apart in te stellen airco’s. Kinderbed en stoel op aanvraag. Ontbijt kunt u zelf bereiden in de keuken. Let op: momenteel wordt de tuin gerenoveerd. Dit heeft geen invloed op de binnenruimtes.

Close to nice cities like Zwolle, Meppel and Ommen. National parks of Drenthe at max 30 min drive.

Thor Heste

Our apartment with original old elements, is located in Gees in an ancient sheepfold that belongs to our farm from 1748. It is a two-person apartment with living area and kitchen, a spacious bedroom and a bathroom. Through the garden doors, you have access to the private terrace. Directly from the apartment, there are plenty of hiking and cycling possibilities in the beautiful nature around Gees. A walk through the centuries-old village with its Saxon farms is also recommended.

In a unique location near the city center of Emmen is apartment "De Uil". The luxury apartment is equipped with every comfort, it is spacious and bright. You have a private shed for your bikes. As of April 2024, we have a large balcony with a beautiful view over the pond. There is also a picnic bench on the ground floor. Do you have an electric car? No problem. the Robin

Wake up wonderfully with the view over the meadows and the chirping of birds. Take your time together and relax in this tastefully decorated apartment, which you will have your own kitchen. The robin is in a nice place between the meadows and can accommodate 2 people. A lovely place to take a break with an important person in your life. An evening in the wood-fired hot tub, overlooking the meadows, can be booked on site.

Located between the Gees forestry and the Mantingerveld, with unobstructed views over farmlands. Our farm was built completely new in 2015, we live in the back house and the front house is furnished as a vacation home. 5 private parking spaces, a spacious garden with terrace where you can sit comfortably. 1 bedroom on the ground floor with private bathroom, the other 4 bedrooms on the first floor with shared bathroom.
