Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Wabonga

Very well maintained BnB on Lake Nillahcootie with wonderful views just 15-20min from Mansfield. The property is on a farm with farm animals to look at and paddocks to roam. Walking along the paddocks by the lake was very beautiful. Came here with my family and there was a lot for my toddler to explore. The fireplace with the gate around it was a bonus! The host is very responsive; we had an issue come up during our stay and it was promptly rectified. All in all definitely recommend for a peaceful and beautiful country stay.

Great location and great fireplace and pit, close to Beechworth, an interesting bathroom design a little chilly bit i admired the architecture and if you like minimalist space this is great ], great host help us oldies with the oven an accommodating on the firewood, true representation in the pictures, a beautiful weekend

Had a beautiful stay at The Glen. The autumn colours were stunning each window you looked out of. Cosy at night time, we enjoyed the open fire, as well as the outdoor fireplaces. Having the river in walking distance was a special treat. Perfect spot to relax, but to also use as a launchpad to the nearby areas of Rutherglen, Beechworth and Bright. Was a perfect escape.

Have stayed here a couple of times and always feel really welcome by the family. Great experience.

We loved Gingers on the Hill. It feels like home and is full of thoughtful touches to make your trip away that little bit special. It's an elegant nod to the mid-century aesthetic and so comfortable and quiet. So great. Highly recommend.

A great little place. Spotless and a great feel with a very private tidy back outside area and cosy and warm inside. Not at any point did we feel the need to dine out at night we just loved staying home having a quiet time and a wine while cooking.

Absolutely loved my stay here. Such a beautiful space and right in the centre of town. Close to lots of places to eat and shops plus just a short drive to many of the local wineries. Will definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at Peak 202 over Easter for a family wedding—John was a wonderful host and the apartment was perfect. Just steps from the village and Chamois ski run, the location couldn’t be better. The views from the floor-to-ceiling windows were stunning, and the space was warm, welcoming, and well-equipped. Our family felt completely at home with three spacious bedrooms, a spa bath, drying room, full laundry, and a great kitchen with everything from a Nespresso machine to a dishwasher. The gas fireplace, Smart TVs, free WiFi, and heated balcony with BBQ made it extra cozy and convenient. Keyless entry and thoughtful extras like games and a secure parking space really stood out. Everything was spotless, stylish, and designed with comfort in mind. Thanks, John, for a memorable and seamless stay—we’ll definitely return to Peak 202!

Very cool and cosy space. Would definitely stay again. Walking into Beechworth very easy (downhill). Coming back either good exercise or cheap with Indigo taxi's. Outdoor space wasn't private as there are other people who could see you - but there was no one around so felt private :) Extra handy to not have to use our own Netflix account and remember how to sign in and out etc. It's a small thing but just made our evening more relaxing, so thank you!

We had the most wonderful stay. Everything was just perfect we had 8 people staying over the weekend and it still felt like so much space for everyone. The place its self is just out of town, and it's very peaceful but close enough to be in town in minutes or only a short ride away. The views from the house were stunning and the house its self had everything we needed for a fantastic weekend away. Beautiful location, easy to find, close to town but far enough out to be peaceful. So thoughtfully set up and absolutely more stunning than the pictures. Stayed with a group of friends and we had an absolute divine time. Enough space for everyone to hang out and plenty of everything we needed for a gorgeous weekend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days at Panoramia Villas. Beautiful views, quiet, and the most comfortable beds. Very spacious and perfect for 2 couples. Would definitely return some day and stay longer.
