Cottage holiday rentals in Villanueva del Trabuco

At Casa Lopez, we stayed for 1.5 months as 5 adults, a child, and a dog. Occasionally, we were up to 10 people, but space was never an issue. The villa is beautiful with stunning views of the mountains and surroundings. The mountain road to the villa adds charm, and the place feels comfortable and safe—even accessible with a Fiat 500. The villa is more spacious than the photos suggest. Rafael, the host, showed us all the amenities: pool, Jacuzzi, and game room—all in perfect order. We also worked from the villa using the internet without any issues. The area is picturesque, close to beaches, mountains, and towns, with plenty to do. The hosts are very kind and helpful, even recommending a mechanic when needed. After 1.5 months, we still felt their warmth and friendliness. Leaving Casa Lopez was emotional for us. So, I recommend the villa for vacations, as well as a place where after work you can open some wine and jump into the pool. I wish everyone an equally wonderful stay.

We had a really great time in Madre Tierra. Rafa welcomed us and was really helpful for any request we had. The house is comfy, calm and with a great view, close to nice mountain paths. Totally recommended. Thanks again Rafa!

We had a fantastic weekend in Monte Naturivo! The accommodation is surrounded by beautiful nature and is the perfect place to relax. Everything was absolutely clean and very well maintained - you can see how much love is put into every detail here. We were particularly enthusiastic about the great pool, the relaxing hammam and the beautiful yoga room - ideal for switching off and feeling good. The hostess was incredibly friendly and warm, we felt welcome from the first moment. Monte Naturivo is truly a special place that we can highly recommend to everyone.

We loved our stay at the cottage, it was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. But the best part was the beautiful surroundings and the amazing pool - perfect after a hot day in Ronda! We would definitely recommend.

Just retuned from a 1 week stay at the Cassita! Lovely and peaceful with beautiful surroundings and plenty to do if you’re happy to drive. Our two children loved the pool too. Kila was very responsive and friendly and we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Thanks again.

We stayed here for 4 weeks (family of 3) and it was the most wonderful holiday! So peaceful and quiet, well equipped house and a lovely pool. The beds are really comfortable and the aircon in the bedrooms was brilliant. Cómpeta is a beautiful town and worth a visit. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

This cottage with swimming pool (and jacuzzi!) on top of the mountain in Coín is really a paradise. Ideal for a relaxing family vacation. The road to it is spicy, but once you are, this is the perfect base for trips to Malaga, Ronda, Marbella, Granada,...

We had a wonderful week at casa Fuentezuelas. The house and it’s surroundings were even more beautiful than the pictures showed. Breathtaking view and very peaceful. The house was very clean and charming and had everything we needed.

The stay at Angel's accommodation "Las Lavaderas" was excellent. The quiet and private atmosphere allowed us to recover well. A perfect place to relax. The house is equipped with everything you need. Communication with Angel worked perfectly, friendly and always prompt.

This was one of the best holidays we have had. The mountains are incredibly beautiful, the town is not too far away, Malaga is great for beaches, town, restaurants, shopping and history! Juan is very friendly and happy to help and manager Jenni is always on hand to answer questions and visit to make sure that everything is going smoothly. The pool is compact but still wonderful for a dip at any time. It is clean and very well maintained. The terrace is beautiful to sit at all times. This is a wonderful place. Thank you for our stay!

The space is gorgeous. Everything is optimal and visually very appealing. Upon arrival, the fire in the fireplace was already turned on and the reception was very friendly. I can only warmly recommend the place and will be happy to come back. Unfortunately, I was not lucky with the weather but it was also wonderful to read a book and find peace. Monika

The view is incredible! We had a wonderful days relaxing at Juana De Dio. The driving instructions are long but are an absolute must!

Martine and Ron have a wonderful small casa near Coin. We enjoyed everything about it! The view, the hospitality, and the pool! They were very welcoming hosts. I would love to stay again!

A gem in the middle of the hills surrounded by nature. The location of the house is simply wonderful. You have a 360-degree panoramic view. The pool is flat at the front and 2 meters deep at the back so you can jump in easily. The area offers many seating and lounging areas to relax. The house is charmingly built in the Spanish style and very clean. There is nothing missing, whether electric orange juicer, coffee machine, etc. Everything necessary is available. About spices, aluminum foil, shampoo, shower gel, garbage bags, toilet paper, towels everything was available in sufficient numbers we did not have to buy anything. We felt completely comfortable. The city of Colin is 5 km away. There you will find a variety of restaurants and supermarkets, which we also appreciated. Jesus is a very nice, accommodating landlord who is immediately available for any problems or questions and provides remedies. Thank you Jesus for such a beautiful time in your house.

Quietly located in the hills around Alcoucin, William and Simone's cottage hides under the smell of the bougainvillea and the shade of the surrounding olive trees. A true oasis an hour's drive from the beautiful city of Malaga and the charming Torre del Mar. The cottage really offers everything you need. Fast WiFi connection, a beautiful bedroom with great bed, a spacious bathroom, a well-equipped kitchenette and not to mention, the beautifully located swimming pool. A little slice of heaven. It truly was perfection, from the moment we booked to the moment we left, we felt it was a home away from home. Bruno and Gert were the perfect hosts, we stayed in the studio near the pool, and it was fully equipped with everything we could need or want. It truly was a fantastic experience staying here and we will 100% be back. I couldn’t finish this review without a special mention to the 4 doggies, who made this stay extra special for us and made us want to spend more time in the villa to spend time with the doggies. We were looking for peace and quiet and that’s what we found! We appreciated the environmental concerns, water conservation and recycling. We were very happy with the simplicity of the house and the great restaurant recommended to us by Maria. Due to the hear we couldn’t do as much walking as we had planned but we were comfortable in the house with air-con and on the gorgeous shady terrace with hammock, loungers and table. I would love to go back in the winter and sit writing at the desk, walking the trails, and enjoying local food and wildlife!

A very nice and well-kept accommodation, I would repeat if I returned to the area. We all really liked it.

We had a fantastic vacation at Antonia’s house in Viñuela. The view and location exceeded our expectations — even better than in the photos. The house is spacious and comfortably accommodates six people. The outdoor area is generous, with a lovely veranda, outdoor kitchen and a marvelous view over valley and hills reaching into the ocean. The property is easy to access, fully fenced, and gated for added security. The ocean and hiking areas are within short range. All amenities are exactly as described. Communication with Antonio was excellent — he is a friendly and attentive host. We would highly recommend this house; it offers great value for the price.

Just arrived back from a wonderful week at Steph and Terry's home. The weather was amazing so we took full advantage of the beautiful pool in the most fabulous location. The property is set amongst the mountains and whilst remote it's not too far from the main road for visiting the surrounding area. For myself and my partner it ticked all the boxes as we love nature, watching the wildlife and the quiet of the mountains where we could relax away from our busy lives. Steph and Terry were always there to answer any questions and give recommendations. The Al In Carhire company recommended by them was extremely easy and value for money. Thank you to Steph and Terry for making our holiday special.

We loved the views and peacefulness but felt safe having someone English next door. The welcome pack was amazing and appreciated as we stayed put for 3 days due to heatwave and didn't have to worry about shopping.
