We had such a wonderful time at Manuel’s place. He was so welcoming and the apartment and pool were gorgeous. So peaceful and located in the heart of the algarve. We explored all along the coast and mountains from Monchique to Ria Da Formosa - which we highly recommended. Thank you!

Our stay was simply wonderful - we lacked nothing! The communication with Peter was excellent, he was always available, helped us with all questions and gave great tips for the area. The accommodation was very clean and well equipped - everything you need is available. We especially liked the large garden, which offers a lot of privacy, as well as the pool, which is perfect for cooling off. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely be happy to come back! It's a wonderful house. It is very well located. It has everything you need to enjoy it. It's a shame that the deal is simply business. The check-out time was 12:00. We asked to extend it a little, and for this we had to pay a disproportionate amount for 5 more hours, all by message. Airbnb should regulate that. Since we were traveling with a baby, and our flight was very late, we had to do it. This is the first time this has happened to us without anyone logging in the next day (we know this because as soon as we paid, there were no problems). Of course, it is not mandatory, it is a courtesy, and other times we have not needed it, or we have not asked for it. They made a serious mistake telling us that breakfast was included, and when we went, they told us that they had made a mistake. And that everyone makes mistakes. In any case, the house is wonderful. Perfect for a great few days.

We had a great stay, it’s a great place for peaceful relaxation. Plenty of outdoor space and the pool is great to cool off in.

We had a wonderful stay at Paulo and Paula’s place in June. It’s a beautiful property, stunning views, the space was spotless and had everything we needed. Paulo was very responsive and pleasant to communicate with, offered plenty of good recommendations, and was very accommodating. Checkin/out couldn’t have been easier. The swimming pool was fantastic - clean and refreshing. We enjoyed swimming as well as some picnics poolside and tanning on the loungers. Beautiful space that we could have to ourselves. We travelled as a family (couple and a baby) and the hosts provided a crib, crib sheets and a highchair. A lovely place and a lovely couple! Don’t hesitate to book :)

A magical, private and special location! We had a really wonderful stay

We were in Quinta Maragota for the second time. That says it all. We liked it very, very much again. The great, authentic and tasteful decor of the apartment is simply great. Despite the heat in Portugal, it was pleasantly cool in the apartment even without turning on the existing air conditioning. The indoor climate is very pleasant. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired, from the WLAN to the regional doors and windows. Rieneke and Remco are very attentive, great hosts. From the regional, homemade welcome goodies in the fridge, to the good tips for the area, to the nice conversations. Simply wonderful. The garden is unbeatable. A small paradise, with spacious private garden areas per apartment and many cozy corners, with seating, great lighting, a small pool close to nature and a fantastic plant world. In short: a little paradise. We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at casa do vale! The villa is stunning, very spacious and stylish. We were 6 adults and a baby and had everything we needed! Perfect that there are 3 bathrooms and we loved the outdoor shower! Kitchen was very well stocked and great to have both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The pool is amazing though could do with another umbrella for a bit of extra shade when it’s very hot. The gardens around the villa are also so lovely. Feels very private and peaceful. There is a small shop a 5 minute walk away which is excellent for topping up on essentials. Bigger shops and bars/ restaurants are only a short drive away. Very easy to get Ubers into Tavira and Olhão also. Overall had an excellent holiday staying at Michelle’s place - would highly recommend!

We had a great week at Philippe’s place. The apartment had everything we needed and was in a great spot to explore Olhão. The roof terrace gets the sun from Midday and was a lovely place to enjoy a meal and a drink in the evening. Philippe was nothing but helpful and we’d stay again if ever back in town!

Small summer getaway for couples. The accommodation matches the description and photographs, it even looks smaller in the photos than it actually is, ideal for families of 4 or even one or two more people. The surrounding area is excellent for the beach, very close, just a short walk away, the only thing missing is a lack of street entertainment and walks, but it is ideal for those looking for a quiet place to relax for a few days at the beach. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and safe. We will definitely repeat.

Uta's place is magical. Set up high, it overlooks a small village to the south and the sprawling sera to the north. The surroundings are peaceful, away from the tourist bustle of coast. The casa itself is beautifully appointed. All of the practical things are just as they should be (great dinnerware; comfy beds; plenty of sitting areas) and, beyond this, the place is aesthetically joyous. Plenty of art and other thoughtful touches, carefully curated, that make it so inviting. Surrounding the casa are small pathways walled with verdant plant life. The whole place is clearly a labour of love. Uta is a responsive and thoughtful host. We liked it here so much we immediately booked for a longer stay next year. One of the very best places we've ever found on Airbnb.

An authentic stay in a very peaceful and secluded setting. Good value for money. Some things could do with updating in time (kitchen, utensils etc), but can't complain considering the very reasonable price. The pool was lovely and outdoor space was perfect. It was our first time in Portugal and we didn't mind travelling to beaches etc from the location as we were able to enjoy the rural countryside and quiet roads. If you like a peaceful, quiet retreat then this is a great place to stay.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Lana, Nuno was a brilliant host, messaging us with recommendations, assistance and making sure we were okay. A lot of Nuno’s recommendations ended up being the highlights of the trip. The villa itself was very clean, matched the description and images perfectly, and was ideal for a group of six, with the ability to easily sleep a further two if you wanted. I can’t recommend this villa enough and I’m so thankful for Nuno being a great host!

My friend and I had an amazing few days at Francisco’s. We were in need of some rest and relaxation, which was exactly what we got. The space is beautiful and has everything you could need for a chilled break. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

We had a brilliant stay here. The apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed. The pool and loungers were fabulous. Yana is an excellent host. She could not have been more friendly or helpful.

Maria has such a special house renovated and cared for in every artistic detail from the special tiles peering out from under the roof to the beautiful motifs and craftsmanship interwoven all throughout the house. The view from the balcony is one that allows you to sit for hours - morning and evening, it’s a magical setting of the river and a Portuguese village across from it. The beds were extremely comfortable and the duvets very warm. We were entirely enchanted by this perfect Spanish house in a lovely atmospheric real local village. The region is wonderful - 1.5 hours from Seville and near some great spots in Portugal. We will surely come again. Thank you for the perfect place to spend my birthday weekend!!!

We had a super stay in casa da tia. Alte is a charming and quiet village and the cottage is right in the middle. Close to the river where you can go swimming and also close to some bars. The cottage itself had everything you need and was brand new. Recommended!

Antonio was the perfect host right from the point of booking. He was communicative and helpful, providing lots of information about the house, the local area and check in process. When we arrived he was already at the property and gave us a quick tour-it was immediately apparently that the house was absolutely pristine and all the little details had been thought about so carefully-I cannot fault it. We were absolutely delighted and had an incredible week away. Antonio was on hand to answer any questions and we couldn’t have asked for more, I highly recommended this host and this properly.

An ode to Christian's house in Olhão: lovingly, stylishly and high-quality renovated house. It is absolutely central, yet quietly located and has a great roof terrace. Reduction to the high-quality essentials: Without TV, grill, air conditioning and coffee machine (you don't need everything anyway), but with an exquisitely equipped kitchen to freshly process the purchases from the market hall just a stone's throw away (the best in the Algarve)! Free parking in the immediate vicinity is available at all times! Christian is a great, super sympathetic and helpful host who also bakes an exceptionally good sourdough bread, which he sells locally on a small market on Wednesdays. His housekeeper is not a pearl - she is a treasure! We definitely want to go back there!

The accommodation and entire outdoor area is really very nice and extremely well maintained. We enjoyed the time at the pool and the view very much. In addition, the accommodation is very well equipped and offers everything you need. We got a baby bed and high chair for our daughter. The distance to the accommodation is not to be underestimated and you definitely need a rental car. The accommodation is just right if you want to spend a few nice relaxed days 🙂

Perfect accommodation in El Rompido, the location is excellent, next to everything but at the same time very quiet. The upper terrace is ideal for enjoying the night, with direct views of the estuary and the Rompido arrow. The owner is attentive and the person who receives and shows the house is charming. Perfect also for golfers, the two courses of Rompido are ten minutes away and some of the best in Portugal are less than an hour away. Worth repeating.

We absolutely loved this apartment! Charming, stylish, clean, well equipped and perfect hosting. The outdoor spaces are amazing. We particularly enjoyed the ground level courtyard which is really a second living room. The location is amazing, 5-7 minutes from everything. We went to the islands several times which were such a surprise, so easy to get to, quaint and uncrowded with white sand beaches and clear water. Highly recommend.

Our stay in the apartment was great. Everything was super clean and cared for, which is greatly appreciated. Comfort is evident in every corner: the kitchen has everything, the bed is very comfortable and the shower is perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun. The terrace is amazing, ideal for breakfast or just relaxing, and the barbecue was a luxury for dinners. The pool area is a true oasis, perfect for unwinding and basking in the sun. I recommend this apartment without hesitation. In addition, Sandra, the host, was charming and was always making sure that everything was fine. I would repeat without thinking!
