Can't say enough great things about this villa and Cristina as it's host! This was a family trip with 12 of us, and the villa provided more than enough space, bathrooms, amenities, and convenience for everyone. Sleeping arrangements were plenty and comfortable, bathrooms were larger than what you might expect for a European villa, several of them with dual sinks as well, and lots of modern upgrades that made things convenient but nothing to steal away from the absolute charm of the villa, especially the back yard by the pool. We loved spending most of our time there when we weren't exploring inside the city walls of Lucca (which are right outside the front door of the villa, an easy 5-10 minute walk away!) There were also coffee shops, markets, a pharmacy, a bank, etc., right around the corner from the villa for even more convenience. And Cristina herself? AMAZING. So proactive with communication, provided tons of information, and was very kind and welcoming when we arrived. THE BEST.

Our stay at Mariella's beautiful home was a highlight of our five week trip throughout Italy. Peacefully situated between Florence and Siena, this villa offers a welcoming respite from the hustle and bustle of the cities. It was also super convenient to the vineyards throughout Chianti. Waking up every morning to the sunrise views over the valley and enjoying a glass of wine in the evening were the perfect beginning and ending to each day. The pool was even larger than we imagined and provided days of entertainment sprinkled in during a week of sightseeing and wine tasting. I cannot recommend this home, location, or host enough. You will NOT be disappointed!

Wonderful villa with a beautiful outdoor area- fruit trees, roses, and flowers. We enjoyed the wine, snacks and fresh fruit the host had for us upon arrival. This was our last stop in Italy. Bedding, mattresses and AC has not been great in the places that we have stayed, and never was there a fan. This villa had a comfortable bed , great ac, and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. My husband said his best night sleep the entire trip. We were missing our dogs and cats and we loved having theirs visit us daily! The hosts were traveling so we didn’t get the chance to meet them. They regularly checked in on us to make sure everything was good and provided local recommendations. Given the reviews and accommodation, I’m sure they are amazing! If you’re ever in Florence, this place is worth the stay.

Wow-10 days spent at Alec's villa and could have stayed longer! The age and beauty of this place makes you feel transported back in time. From the stone walls, the detailed wall paintings, furniture and decor, to the solid doors easily hundreds of years old... We spent hours just speaking of it's history. The house is clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for our family of 8. It is situated on a small family vineyard at the top of an incredibly windey road. There outdoor space was safe/secluded for my kids. The hill made for wonderful beautiful views and sunrise. However, as with much of Tuscany, we were glad our rental cars weren't too big! The closest town is 5 minutes away and has a few restaurants... Though not somewhere you can have coffee or walk the streets. About 15 minutes away is San Casciano where you can find coffee shops, restaurants, stores etc. Alec is a perfect host... helpful, responsive, and answered dozens of questions weekly. Book dinner at A Casa Mia for sure!

Igor si e' sempre mostrato gentile e reattivo , non ci sono stati problemi di nessun tipo . La casa e' nuova e ha tutto quello che deve avere una casa moderna (cucina ben attrezzata con induzione,forno,lavastoviglie etc, tapparelle motorizzate , bagni con ampia doccia , patio attrezzato che da' sul giardino ) e in generale corrisponde alle foto e alla descrizione . Come bonus mi e' stata data la possibilità di usufruire gratuitamente di un gazebo in prima fila fronte mare , gentilmente offerto dal padre di Igor . Se proprio devo trovare una pecca direi che sarebbe meglio mettere delle zanzariere almeno in camera da letto e a una delle 2 portefinestre che danno sul patio . Tenere conto che non c'e' la TV ( comunque e' riportato nella descrizione fornita da Igor ) . La zona e' periferica , molto tranquilla con villette e con giardini e orti ; vista la distanza dal mare e dai supermercati e' meglio avere un mezzo proprio .

Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold i villaen. Et moderne hus i rolige omgivelser med vakker utsikt. Brigitta var svært hjelpsom og svarte raskt på våre henvendelser både før og under oppholdet.

We had an unforgettable stay at this villa for our bachelorette getaway! The host was incredibly responsive and made everything smooth from start to finish. The views were absolutely breathtaking — even better than in the pictures! The villa had everything we needed to set the perfect atmosphere: fully stocked kitchen with plates and glasses, plenty of towels, and thoughtful details throughout. We loved picking fresh lemons from the garden and finding peaceful spots around the property to read and relax. It’s incredibly private and serene — the perfect escape. While the drive-up can be a bit tricky at first, it quickly becomes second nature and is well worth it.This place exceeded all of our expectations. Highly, highly recommend — we'd come back in a heartbeat!

If we could give Antica Limonaia six stars we would! Dana and Andrea were excellent at communicating and we knew they were close by if we ever had an issue. It was lovely to be met by Andrea on our arrival and shown around the house to settle us in. The house itself is beautiful - so light and spacious. Plenty of room for us with our adult children and their partners. We cooked nearly every evening in the gorgeous kitchen which was so well equipped. The laundry area was useful and well stocked. There was beautiful crockery, china, cutlery, linens. I could write an essay on how exquisite everything was (don’t get me started on the pretty tea towels) but suffice to say it was all perfect for us and will leave lasting happy memories. The table football is sturdy enough for four 20-somethings to revert to childhood!

Wonderful stay at the Villa among the vineyards in Panzano. Vicky, the host, is the owner of Le Fonti winery with the villa surrounded by their vineyards and olive groves. The view from the villa is absolutely stunning. The town of Panzano is very cute. We bought groceries at the Coop and made breakfast each morning, gathering in the cozy well equipped kitchen. There is a courtyard immediately outside the doors of the villa with a large table, and again amazing views. Our time in the villa was so relaxing! Though we went to several wineries, a highlight was a very personal tour of the winery, wine making process and wines by Vicky at Le Fonti. She spent time discussing/pouring the different wines, even bringing over the same wine from different years to show us the difference the weather/grape stress influences the final taste. Overall exactly what we wanted from a Tuscan experience and really enriched by an extremely friendly and knowledgeable host.

A beautiful villa with exceptional views to the hills and valley. Various oudoor areas. Private location however close to sights and amenities. Cafes and restaurants not far however not walking distance, best accessed by own car. Electric bikes were available for sightseeing. Fantastic host, always responsive and helpful. Can warmly recommend.

We visited for a multi-generational family holiday - grandparents, kids and parents. The setting is wonderful, in the mountains of Fosciandora - an easy 1.20 hr drive from Pisa airport. We enjoyed having the option of the jacuzzi as well as the fresh water pool. And had local chefs cook for us several evenings. The local Tigalle meal was a special highlight on our first day - compliments to Chef Nenella. It’s a stunning place and we’d love to come back. Local trips we did were to Lucca (about an hour), Castelnuovo di Garfagnana and Barga. Pizza Indie was a great recommendation from Leo. Our hosts were so responsive and wonderful to speak to. They couldn’t have been more attentive. I can def imagine we’ll be back in years to come. Highly recommend the his wonderful place to anyone who truly wants to get away and switch off. The mountain air and beauty is good for the soul.

We had a fantastic relaxing stay at this place. The house was large and had everything you need to make yourself comfortable. The house and garden offered a great atmosphere with its nice places to sit and relax or having our meals. Thank you Elena and Eugenio for your hospitality and great service.

Soggiorno splendido a Villa Vittoria, immersa nel verde alle porte di Lucca, città meravigliosa. Abbiamo apprezzato molto il campo da tennis e l'area palestra con vasca idromassaggio, perfetta per rilassarsi. Il campo da calcio e la piscina non li abbiamo usati, ma quest’ultima è davvero bellissima e ben tenuta. Massima privacy e tranquillità: ideale per staccare la spina. La villa è curata nei dettagli e gli spazi esterni sono ampi e silenziosi. Un luogo perfetto per rigenerarsi, che ci sentiamo di consigliare senza esitazioni.

We were 3 couples and had more than enough space, both to all be together and also to each have our private times. The house is in the middle of an olive grove and the birds were singing each morning. The pool was a fantastic respite at the end of sight-seeing days. Claudia and Leonardo were kind, responsive and supportive to ensure we had a great stay. Definitely a place we'd return to!

Boendet överträffade våra förväntningar! Vi tillbringade en härlig vecka där med vår familj. Ett fantastiskt hus, magisk plats och mycket att se och göra i närområdet! Värdparet var mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma - en eloge till dem! Huset och köket var välutrustat och vi saknade absolut ingenting - men nu när vi lämnar saknar vi huset och ser fram emot att komma tillbaka! Ciao - vi ses!

This was the most magical place so spend a week in Chianti! The villa is exceptionally beautiful, and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The grounds were spectacular, with many things to do and different areas to sit and enjoy. My toddler especially loved picking strawberries from the small garden and collecting eggs from the chickens for breakfast. The hosts were lovely and helpful with any questions we had, and took great care of us. The town of Gaiole in Chianti is very close and with great restaurants and things to do. A perfect spot I can’t recommend highly enough!

Die Unterkunft von Peter hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen ! Vor allem der Außenbereich mit toller Aussicht zwischen den Apfelbäumen und Traubensträuchern war der Wahnsinn. Zudem war dieser komplett eingezäunt-also ideal für Hundebesitzer. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt bei Beatrice und Alessandro. Es ist ein wunderbarer Ort um Urlaub zumachen! Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen!

L’alloggio di Donatella è esattamente come nelle foto: curato, accogliente e immerso nella quiete. Appena si chiude il cancello, si entra in un’oasi privata dove ci si sente subito a casa. La terrazza coperta è perfetta per pranzare o cenare all’aperto con ogni tempo, godendo della splendida vista sulla valle. Abbiamo sempre mangiato fuori. La piscina era pulita e il panorama davvero rilassante. I nostri due cani si sono sentiti subito a loro agio: lo spazio è grande e tutto recintato, quindi sicuro. I negozi e tutto il necessario si trovano nelle vicinanze, e in 15 minuti si arriva al mare di Lido di Camaiore. La casa è ben attrezzata, funziona tutto come dovrebbe. Donatella e suo figlio sono sempre disponibili, gentili e si impegnano davvero molto per far star bene gli ospiti. Comunicazione semplice e veloce. Grazie per l’ospitalità e l’attenzione ai dettagli! Torneremmo molto volentieri.

This was one of our most memorable holidays. A guided tour to the house to which upon arrival I cannot describe the stunning, magical, peaceful view and surroundings! All made us most welcome! The surrounding towns (Callodi, Montecarlo, Pistoia), cities (Lucca) close by (30 mins) and trains to Florence very relaxing. The farmhouse, with great character, was comfortable, cool, and well equipped with many a family feast overlooking the valley under stars swimming. Many thanks to the loyal gardener! Amazing. Thank you for a magical break and we hope to return.

A beautiful home to base ourselves in while exploring Tuscany. Lovely country surrounds. House has everything you need, spacious. Gorgeous terraces and pool. Enjoyed Volterra, San Gimignano and Siena but always great to come back to our Tuscan home! Silvia gave fantastic recommendations - pasta making at Ristorante de Beppino and in house chef Beppe highlights. Also loved Monterosola winery tasting. Very highly recommend. One of the best!

We loved our time at La Balza - such a picturesque, peaceful and relaxing stay! Alessandro and his parents were a pleasure to deal with and answered all of my questions very quickly. They were very hospitable and accommodating. The area surrounding Radda in Chianti is absolutely beautiful and we loved the easy access to so many different cities and small villages. Would definitely recommend. A+

Heerlijk verblijf. Schoon, ruim, lekker zwembad. Goed gelegen, rustige omgeving. Paar kleine zaken als iets te weinig spullen in de keuken, achterdeur naar terras klemt en gaat slecht open en het warme water bij de wastafel was er niet. Maar dat zijn kleine zaken. Overall zeker aan te raden. Oh, en volgns zoon en schoondochter is de gelateria bij de top supermarkt Essalunga ook een prima tip. En verder is de osteria moderna in de stand Pescia ook een aanrader.

Absolutely fantastic! We couldn’t have wished for a better place. The accommodation was both charming and comfortable, with incredible attention to detail. The view, the surroundings, and the overall atmosphere were simply magical – a true dream spot for relaxing. Everything was clean, well-organized, and inviting, and the hosts were warm and helpful from start to finish. We’re already dreaming of coming back!
